Well... that was fun.
My first time on Twitter proved to be something of an avalanche. You know, in a "oh my god run run run" kinda way.
I'll be using it to tell little stories here and there. Some of them will be Skulduggery related, some of them won't- such as the cute little axe murderer story from Saturday night. Some of them may even be related to the series I'll be writing AFTER Skulduggery. Ooooooh! (But I don't know about this. I literally just thought of that right there.)
I'd like to be able to post stories quite regularly, but I'm not committing myself to anything right now. Neither am I going to be using Twitter in the normal way. Instead, I'll be typing with my toes.
No, wait, that's not what I mean. I mean, I have rules. RULES! And they shall not be broken!
RULE 1: I SHALL NOT FOLLOW!
I only follow two people, and both of those just happen to be attractive lady fighters. That's a pure coincidence, I swear.
My point is, I am not going to open up Twitter every day and see a thousand different streams of tweets from a thousand different people. This will EAT UP MY TIME, and I cannot allow this to happen.
RULE 2: I SHALL NOT RETWEET!
I've seen requests for retweets on Ronda Rousey's page, and people actually get annoyed when she doesn't do it. I'm going to cut this off at the knees before it even gets started— no RT's for me.
RULE 3: I SHALL NOT REPLY!
Again, people get annoyed if you don't reply. They think you're being rude or disrespectful. They think you're ignoring them. While all these things are quite true, replying to everyone is just impossible. Also, it will EAT UP MY TIME. And I need my time for doing the thing you want me to do. Which would you rather— that I write more books, or reply to your tweets?
No, I can't do both. I can't. Shush. Shuttup. Stop. You're making this worse. Quiet. Shhhhhhhhhh.

But I remember while all the other little girls were playing house and doctor and things like that (I'd always hated those games- my perspective was, why would I want to re-enact something so ordinary?) I roleplayed with my friends- we made up our own characters with different powers, invented our own worlds, came up with wild plot twists- the whole shebang. And I always left everyone else in suspense- it drove them nuts, and I loved it!

And I actually watched a lot more TV as a little kid than I do now. I barely ever watch anything- I'm far too busy being the seeker for my Quidditch team, and ballroom dancing, and taking Krav Maga classes/sparring, and there's also debate on Thursdays... And that's leaving out the 3 year science intensive program that I have to spend at least 5 hours a week on... And writing like a lunatic for MC... I think I'm doing too much...
My first story involved a monster that wanted to eat, and then a friendly princess helped him find the cheese in a room ful of "many things not for eating." so, it wasn't the kind of thing you'd be interested. I think it was partially based on my little sister.
I played fairies a lot as a seven-year-old, and detectives. And horses, when Shai went through her horse phase, and dragons. I liked being a dragon...
I role played Robin Hood types a lot when I was 10-12... I had so much fun with that, then R moved, and hasn't bothered to keep in touch. Considering the fact that it's been 3 years, I doubt she will. I wrote to her a bunch of times, wonder if she got those.

I played fairies plenty of times, and I loved playing dragons, too. Usually the fairies and dragons went together. And I was obsessed with horses, along with two other close friends of mine, so you can imagine we did that often. And for about a year all three of us thought we were part wolf... We were weird kids...
Then for a few years we made up our own clans of cats based on the Warriors series, and mixed that with the jellicle cats from Cats, the musical- and each of us played multiple characters. I definitely had the most, though- they only had about two each, and they mostly stuck with whichever their main one was- but I created and acted as- of the top of my head, I could maybe name 16- different characters at different times, and sometimes at the same time. And I was always plotting, and I was always the cruelest with plot twists. I still drove them mad. ;)
That went on till just a few years ago- sorry, I can't give an exact date, I have a horrible sense of time. Anyway, that one was great, but it stopped, and none of my friends roleplay anymore- but I discovered the internet! I roleplayed on Tumblr, sometimes Omegle, if I'm really bored, though most people on that get overwhelmed by all of the plot twists I throw at them and leave...
And now I have you guys, and I feel no need for anything else! Seriously, though- I haven't been on Tumblr at all in almost a month... My followers will come after me sooner or later, I'm sure...
I'm not sure how I managed it, but I lost my iPod without moving from my spot on the sofa...anyways, I found it again.

The MC wouldn't really work, I'm collaborating with people, and it's really mean to them if I kill off a character they've been working with too. Not just ordinary "That awesome character is dying!!!" mean, but kinda not cool.
