And Tom isn't even FINISHED it yet...! There's going to be some colour stuff happening, and some cool silver effects added and things, but even as it stands now, this is a cover that's going to pop out at you on the bookshelf. For Tom is awesome.
Speaking of paperbacks, we're going to start gradually removing the short stories from the reprints, with the aim of collecting everything (including the Tanith novella) into one big book in the spring of 2014. There'll be lots of brand new stories in there as well, covering the entire series. So will we see a short story starring Mr Bliss, back when he was alive? Will we see Val and pre-Remnant Tanith fighting side by side once again? Will we even catch a glimpse of Skulduggery and the Dead Men at war with Mevolent...?
To be honest I haven't a clue. I'm just making things up as I go along.

That said, first impulses are often the correct ones. We do everything for a reason, conscious or not.
But eliminate the sub concious, and here you are left with a human without instinct or secondary morals. Do this to everyone, society crashes and burns.

So the ship AI told him to go down to the AI core and give it control of the systems so then they could activate the drive core and go light speed with the airlocks open - killing all the Collectors but Joker was safely inside the engine room which had been sealed.

The AI is called EDI and "pretty robot thing"? Do you mean my picture? IF so, no. My picture is of a Geth. Sentient robotic beings created by the Quarians. They're pretty cool.
And yes, his job is pretty dangerous for him. He's always breaking fingers and arms and stuff BUT he's like the best pilot in the Alliance so yeah.
And yeah, the Collectors are pretty creepy.

Ah, yes. EDI gets a body in Mass Effect 3. In ME2 she just appears as a blue holographic sphere, but yeah you find an android body so she uploads herself to it and becomes a squad member.

She, for a start in ME2, is just in control of the automatic defence systems as she can like react quicker than a human can.
But then when the Collectors attack Joker gives her control of the entire ship, and it stays that way even in Mass Effect 3.
Even though she is in a body, her main hub is the ship and she remote controls the body, in a way.

I'm one mission away from finishing Mass Effect 2 and then I'm done and can play Mass Effect 3.
I always thought you were done with Mass Effect 3 as well... I mean you know so much about all that stuff!

Oh, I am. I've played Mass Effect 3 through twice by now and both times I had a different outcome and stuff.
I'm playing it this time - well I started playing Mass Effect 2 as a female Shepard and made her act like a bitch, just for the fun of it. Now I'm going to upload the character to Mass Effect 3 and see what bitchy things I can do that way.
Then I have a save game from Mass Effect 2 still that I need to complete - since I started a play through of all 3 Mass Effect games. I completed ME1 perfectly fine, and am part way through Mass Effect 2 on that save - about half done.
So what I'm going to do is finish my female Shepard play through of Mass Effect 2, then complete Mass Effect 3.
Then I'm going to go back to my complete play through save and do the other half of ME2, then complete ME3 using that and see what happens.
And the endings are always different? That sounds really cool!
