It's strange, my city being at the center of world attention. It's very... Enlightening. So many people are angry with Michelle Gregg. And, were I them, I would be too. But so many people make assumptions about the zoo, and my city, and this poor woman.
Just- no one deserves as much abuse as she is reviewing. If she was negligent, I believe she has more than learned her lesson. And the boy, Isaiah? I'm sure he will have emotional scars for a long, long time. Talk about frightening.
Just, no one who is commenting about the situation is an expert. My friend works at the zoo, actually. And I applied to work there a few months ago, if anyone remembers that.
But Just
At a zoo, there is no one more close to an animal than a zookeeper. They are the parents- they care for and love and cherish the animals, and they were the ones who had to make the decision. Most people would. If any one of us had our mother, or sibiling, or partner, fall into immediate danger, would we not want them saved?
As a note as well; gorillas are very violent and unpredictable creatures. Jesus, most of the time, they will react violently to situations like the one that occurred. That boy is very, very lucky that he want ripped apart. It is a miracle that the boy managed to not piss off Harambe for as long as he did.
And, also. One more thing. Tranquilizer darts vary in dosage from animal to animal. They are like alcohol tolerances: each organism reacts differently. Harambe is huge, by the way, and it would certainly take a lot for him to be put to sleep. I don't know if any of you have seen a tranquilized animal, but they often become scared, confused, and will lash out. Knowing the predisposition of gorillas (especially male gorillas), to shoot him would have been deadly to the boy.
Long story short, I am just appalled.. I typically feel as if I would be on the side of those people who are calling for justice (though who is to say? I feel as if this situation is a lot more hairy than usual, since it includes morality). But, I know the zoo did the correct decision. And it really is a goddamn shame that they had to make the decision, and I think people need to understand the distinction between anger towards those who pulled the trigger, and angry that the situation occurred in the first place.
I just ask that, should anyone find themselves invested in the news, that they please try to form their opinions based on compassion, and try their best to not be malicious towards any party. It is a very hard thing, death, and, obviously, since none of us are professionals, and none of you have even been to the Cincinnati Zoo before, please try to refrain from making generalizations and speculations. The Cincinnati Zoo is one of the biggest and best zoos (if not THE best) in my country. It is world reknown for its fantastic treatment of the animals and guests, as well as being the most environmentally sustainable zoo in my country. Really, it is a beautiful and terrific zoo. Those people had to make a difficult decision: to either let a boy die (it would have happened inevitably, I'm sure), or to try to save his life. It was a very hard decision to make, so please, just remember that the people who have the "all clear" to shoot Harambe were like his parents and friends. Those caretakers lost one of their children, so to speak, and had to make the decision to end his life. They deserve time to grieve for their loss.
So please, everyone, please try to be compassionate
It's really unfortunate that that happened, and it's also unfortunate that so many people are going around looking for someone to be angry at about it. :-/

Yes!!! There's one near me, and it's on the metro line that 3 of my closest new friends and I take and so we are going there after finals! We're going to get lunch first as well!!
So it's a cafe and then there's a separate room with about 15 cats in it and you can bring the food and drink you bring in and sit and play with the cats!!
They have some really awesome stuff for the cats, and 7 of them have been adopted by the cafe and currently there are 6 more that are up for adoption. It's so great!

It's my English grade, so yeah. Honestly I'm so done with my English teacher (she told us at the beginning of the year that she didn't like freshman) I almost just want to give up but I can't because I need to make sure I do well on the final so my overall grade will be an A. It was barely an A before and now it's an A- and I need to do really well on the final to get an A in the class.

NO I was NOT just watching cat videos and that is NOT what caused me to poof because it DIDN'T HAPPEN.
Yeah, the high percentage is probably much more impressive to UK people. Though Star was saying that the grading system doesn't make it easy to get an A, so I imagine the letter grade is still fairly impressive.
I just emailed Noelle about this but army sixth, in general: 90% A* 80% A 70% B 60% C 50% D 40% E <40% U

And fuck. I refuse t believe our work is easier. I've seen so many people brrakingdwn and crying over the exams recently. We've been revising months in advance. IT IS NOT EASY. Okay GCSEs were but shhh. :P
I've also said this to Noelle, but I've been doing a lot of specimen papers recently (our year group has a new exam specification,so we have no past papers,so the exam makes specimen papers that are meant to be like exam papers but haven't gone through rigorous checking to make sure they're okay, so the questions can suck and the marks schemes are HELL) and tbh I consider 50% to be an A on specimen papers as they're that hard. In Catherine's class, the highest mark on a chemistry specimen paper was 45%. All the A grade students rarely ever acheieve6% on specimen papers. It's fucking hard. Specimen papers have taught me that low grade boundaries do not equate to easier grades. So if our grade boundaries are power, that does not necessarily mean it's easier to get high grades here.
(@Star that was my reaction xD I was just there like "Well the grade boundaries change per paper per subject and we can't get OVER 100% on a paper and the mark schemes half the time are so specific, not to mention basically every science paper has at least one question that is dodgy as hell because it's something that you haven't been taught but it somehow pops up in the test anyway.)
No, I didn't mean that it was easier- I just meant that, for my anxiety, it's just different Because part of my perfectionism comes with numbers. I judge myself very heavily based on numbers. It's just a little counterintuitive, because basically, anything below a 93 in my mind is failing. But in the UK, 70 is such a low number (relatively, since it is typically a C for us) It's just different
Like for me in Honors/AP English lets say my grade is a 92, the point of just making an A, I have to add 9 points on to that for being in that level so I'd have a 101 in the class. You can get up to a 109 in Honors/AP
100 is max in any other courses
I had a 115 in American History as a 9th grader but my teacher marked it as 100 for my report card because I couldn't have higher then 100 due to not being Honors/AP.
See I just don't get that. We just have normal tests out of like seventy or whatever and we calculate the percentage by dividing our score by the total number of marks available and multiplying the whole thing by 100.
Wait... In the US, do you guys all sit the same exam papers? Like, regardless of what school you're attending?
Idk how this works elsewhere, but in the UK, our exam boards are catering for every school in England and Wales (well, maybe not Wales for much longer, we have our own board and I think it's becoming compulsory but it doesn't affect me so idk), so they have to be very careful about how many marks get you which grades - so that each grade is the same level year after year however hard the paper was. They'll tend to set questions which they don't expect the majority of candidates to be able to answer, and whatnot to get a top candidate more marks and the average candidate fewer marks. But the way marks translate into grades is a little weird. Basically, they look at the overall performance on each part-question after the papers have been marked and your total number of raw marks added, and assess how difficult it is to get each mark, I think mostly based on performance. So, for example if they set a question that NOBODY scored a single mark on (or if they accidentally set an impossible question coughMEIcough), they'll probably say 'well, bugger that then". And if there's a question where EVERYBODY did it perfectly, they might say 'bugger this one too'. And they kind of shape how many marks they think the paper was really worth in comparison to previous years? And then each raw mark gets translated into a uniform modified mark (UMS). And THAT is what your percentage is based on. And so, depending on the difficulty of the paper, you might need 72% or 92% of raw marks to get an A, but as a UMS it will always translate to 80%. (also there are usually more UMS marks than raw marks so eg. 62, 63, 64 out of 80 raw marks might all get you 79/100 UMS. So if you get your results statement and you're only 1 mark off an A, depending on the distribution of the UMS, you might have actually needed 3 marks to get that grade. Or getting 5/72 raw might become 1/100 ums. So it's all a little dodgy?)
Now, A*s at A-level are super quirky, because I believe they actually very between different qualifications. For most subjects/exam boards, you need to get an A grade over all, and then 90% UMS over all of your second year modules. But that's not always the case?? My maths exam board require you to sit 3 maths exams in each year, and if you get an A overall, and 90% UMS in the two second year Pure maths modules, only. So my mechanics1 exam this year could contribute to me getting an A, but not to an A*. Or alternatively, I could score 100% in the pure exams and cock up the mechanics and I'd probably get a B for it.
((And then, like Star said, specimen papers are notoriously difficult, because they don't go through all the rigorous checking that the real papers do. Nobody gets to look over them and say 'this is a stupid question you can't do this' or 'this legitimately doesn't make sense what's the matter with you' because nobody actually sits those papers. And then our mark schemes are just stupid all over, because your answer can be completely correct, but if they didn't anticipate people writing that, you might not get any credit for it. And also sometimes they ask exactly the same question in different years and the answer in the mark scheme is different both times and :(. One time in a maths paper I wrote "a + b" instead of "a - -b" and got no credit for the entire question and gosh I was so mad because I did exactly what everybody else did, just wrote it neater. :( AND ALSO the markschemes often have errors in and it's all nnnggghgghgg
(Sorry if that all makes zero sense to anybody.) (Also hello!!! and sorry for appearing out of nowhere and throwing a big block of text out here. You're all super people and I hope y'all are well. :))
(Neither do I, I mean.. Why have extra marks? Why not just include them in the overall percentiles instead of saying they're extra.. I mean.. They're questions in the test you're sitting so why are they not part of the whole total instead of being their own separate identity?)
Yeah, there was no oe, because you were supposed to be showing that for a particular function, the y values for x and -x would always be the same, or something like that. So I put in an extra step to show my workings, but it didn't really show my workings. :P
Well we have standardize tests but they don't actually affect your grade and private school don't have to take them. Except if you take an AP class, then you take the AP exam and I'm pretty sure that's a standardized test? I will take my first AP next year so Idk. But standardized tests are awful and for the most part I found them really easy. The problem is, some people might be working grades ahead of the test in math, let's say, and so they have no idea what the stuff is on the test because it's been so long. Maybe some of the basics are super easy but obscure things you only do in 7th grade math? Those might be harder.
Also, the extra credit thing differs. For math class, on normal tests there is an extra question that is a lot harder than the rest of the test. But for the final she gave us around 100 problems of review and if we do it all she adds 3% to our finals grade.
In Spanish she gave use a huge verb conjugating sheet that is worth 3 points and then if you have any left over homework passes those are all a point.
In world cultures she typically has a space on the test where you can write extra knowledge about the topic that wasn't on the test and she will give you up to 2 points, depending on your response.
For how to grade it, say the test is out of 100 points. There is an extra credit thing worth 2 points. You get 98 points on the actual test but then get the extra 2 points so you go 100%. For the math final, if you did the review, she then adds an extra 3% and so you get 103%. My personal goal is some number over 100% but we'll see what happens.
Nope. I can't get over 100% not being 100%. XD It's just. No. I don't like it. :P
You see, in Britain, from when you're uh . . . *mentally counts* 14/15 to 17/18, school is ALL ABOUT exams. GCSEs, AS levels, A levels. And for those exams, everyone across the country taking the subject sits the same paper at the same time on the same day (pretty much; there are a few different exam boards). And any tests we do throughout the year will be exam practise and will be the same style of questions and graded in a similar way, to help us get used to exams.
And like. I've been revising for my exams since Easter. So I've naturally become rather fond of our examination system, as a coping technique. I can't really allow myself to NOT be fond of it, tbh.
Hey Dugglyn! OH, thanks! :) Yeah, I know what you mean about standardised tests like that - idk about the rest of the UK but in Wales we did something called CATS about every other year(?), in maths and English and cognitive...something. When we were younger I think they were just to track your progress as a small person, and then I think at GCSE and AS-level they used them for our target grades - but they didn't count towards your actual grade. They were just... rubbish. :P
But yeah. It's looking to me as though extra credit is sort of like the A* thing - like if you get the top grade, you've got a chance at getting a little higher, too. I hope you get the grade you're after! :)
*nods at Star* It also helps to make sure that when we go to college and when we go to university, for the most part everybody probably knows the same stuff?? But yeah. I like the concept of being able to go online and see how other people found the paper? Like if you find a paper quite difficult it's nice to know that you're not alone in the country. :P And like... Past papers and reading through the specification and putting together good answers from the markshemes as well as your textbooks; I appreciate those things. :)
We have SATs when we're eleven/twelve. GCSEs when we're 15/16 although we start preparing for them when we're 14/15. AS exams when we're 16/17, although the government's getting rid of them (ish. You'll be tested on all your AS content when you do your A2 levels instead of doing them a year earlier). A2 levels when you're 17/18.
We don't have "finals," though. When you're younger you do have tests and stuff, and probably end of year tests, but you don't have big tests in the sane way.
Mark: *sits in the corner of his room, frowning* *is at his desk, some oven bake moulding stuff that I can't remember the name of in front of him* *has been avoiding leaving him room quite a bit since he found out that the small black wolf was.. Clocky's guardian angel*
@Fabi: Are they for college admissions? Somebody in my year applied to some universities in America, and I think he may have had to sit one of those? :)
@Star: (I thought SATs were for year 2 and 6? I remember nobody knowing whether we were supposed to do them or not because the Welsh govt were phasing them out at the time. :P) Lol our school made a big deal out of end of year tests every year after y7. We had to do them all in the hall and they issued timetables and seating plans. I think they even got external invigilators in once. :S
Michael: You said it's too dangerous to go back there.. I'll go. *starts jogging in that direction*
Mark: *flinches, setting down his tools and balling the plasticine up again, pushing it away, glaring at it accusingly* *grunts and starts trying to shape it again* Who is it.
Michael: *searches the kitchen and frowns* *goes into the bedroom*
Tresha: *sees Flauros and grins, skipping over* Flaury! *hugs him tightly, smiling* *stares at all the furry people, mouth wide open* *is currently in her human form*
Mark: Nothing, nothing. *pushes the plasticine away* How are you?
Michael: *yells and coughs, choking, his face going bright red from the trapped blood* *grits his teeth as his sight becomes blurry, struggling more* *slowly, very slowly, fox ears push their way up out of his mane of hair, fox ears* *passes out against the man as the ears finish growing, he also has a fox tail but as he's wearing pants this is hardly visible*
Tresha: Maybe he can't carry them all? We should go see if he needs help*
Michael: *returns to consciousness, slightly confused and disorientated* *looks down at the ridiculous clothes he's wearing* What the..? *looks up and around*
Michael: *opens his mouth to keep arguing when he hears the count* Sir Count! Tell this moronic mongrel that I am not some object to be sold to the highest bidder! *hasnt actually noticed the fox parts he's grown yet*
Mark: *sighs* Fine, but who am I meant to play with?
(I'm watching operation ouch, a kids programme It was explaining why you get spots when you hit puberty I could've sworn they said semen but they said sebum xD )
Michael: This weirdo injected me with something and kidnapped me! I woke up here in this stupid outfit. *turns to the man* And what the hell did you even inject me with?!
Tresha: *shifts to her furry self so she doesn't get tired as easily*
Michael: Why? He didn't brand me did he? *checks the parts of his anatomy he can see* *freezes when he sees the tail* What.. What is that? *the ears on his head flick back in fear, his tail tucking between his legs*
Tresha: we could wait until the person who has him leaves? Then we're safer.
Michael: But an injection shouldn't be able to give me fox parts! *looks like he might start having a panic attack* *I wonder if this'll teach the count a lesson about how to treat his furries*
Michael: That's her real name. *looks back at Alys* Some man injected me.. And this happened. He brought me to the auction and dressed me like this. *pauses* He was going to sell me..
Michael: *flushes bright red from anger and also partially from behind told he's going to be disciplined* You'll discipline me? You mean like you were going to discipline Alys.
Sil: *is leaning against the Counts horse when he gets there, drinking some wine* Well well well, beaten down by your own possessions. Such a shame. If only you'd had the right tools to control them.
Michael: *turns back to Flauros Tresha and Alys* We should get back before anyone decides to try and take Alys again.
Sil: Someone who could help you. You couldn't control they, not when they both have magic and you can't hurt them from a distance. So I'm offering.. A gift. *pulls two shock collars from her bag, both with sigils that will bind magic on them* *takes a ring out of her pocket* These could help. The ring will let you activate the collars from a distance..
Sil: I want you to take them both away from their homes and to keep them in yours as pets and.. Entertainment. That's all I wish for. I'm a fan of the suffering of others.
Michael: *is burning hot* It gave me ears and a tail.

(What's wrong Noelle?)
Amazing batman theory, just... Unbelievable
(There were to dead chicks outside my door.. Both so young they had no feathers
One has been taken now..)
Is it bad that until I got to the part about feathers, I automatically translated that as "there were two dead girls outside my door"? :P
:( We looked inside our watering can the other day and a blue tit had drowned in there . . . :/

I mush go now. My skin is burned, and I feel like I'm dying inside
It's really unfortunate that that happened, and it's also unfortunate that so many people are going around looking for someone to be angry at about it. :-/
(I read about that yesterday.. I found it tragic that such a beautiful creature had to die
But what could the keepers do?)
Poor thing...
I haven't been looking at the news since my phone broke . . . so I haven't seen anything about it.
Summary: 4-year-old got into gorilla exhibit. Zookeepers had to kill gorilla for safety of 4-year-old.
And now everyone either hates the zoo or the parents of the 4-year-old.
@Lantern: *nods* :/
Damn. I wish people had better things to do than be hateful like that.

Haha what do you mean absent for several months?
I was here the whole time. Watching you. Yes. You.

The funniest part of reading that is that I actually have been watching.
By which I mean ghosting.
I'm not creeping on you guys.
...
Welp, back to it.
Hey, I do that too!
Though I do comment from time to time
I'm here guys oh my god I thought all my ameriminion pals were lost to the waves! Of the Internet.
Fear not, we still exist!
I book our reservations for the Cat Cafe under the name of Tanith Low ;)))))
Cat... Cafe? Those are real?
Yes!!! There's one near me, and it's on the metro line that 3 of my closest new friends and I take and so we are going there after finals!

Oh marmots.
I didn't do well on my essay.
Right before finals.
It dropped my grade a lot :(
:D I didn't know that they were real that's amazing! I thought that it was just an idea someone on the Internet cooked up! That's brilliant! We are living in the future.
Oh no! Is it an important grade?
It's soooo great!
It's my English grade, so yeah.

Ok fuck
Please tell me if I'm wrong
But in the UK, a grade of a 75-100% is an A?
The fuck?
I'm my school, a 93-96 is an A. A 97-100 is an A+
Ok really damn.
If I went into the UK and talked about the A+s I get in my classes they may be like "damn girl stfu*
No I must not go
I MUST FEEL SMART
Welp
I guess Noelle needs to start talking in numbers if Noelle wants to feel smart and important

Specimen papers have taught me that low grade boundaries do not equate to easier grades. So if our grade boundaries are power, that does not necessarily mean it's easier to get high grades here.
Just found out Disney is American.
Thought it was British for some reason.
"So . . . they have Disney, and we have . . . the BBC."
I'm feeling little now. :P
*nods nods* Yep yep.
I do not think Britain is easier.
No, I didn't mean that it was easier-
I just meant that, for my anxiety, it's just different
Because part of my perfectionism comes with numbers. I judge myself very heavily based on numbers.
It's just a little counterintuitive, because basically, anything below a 93 in my mind is failing.
But in the UK, 70 is such a low number (relatively, since it is typically a C for us)
It's just different
Yeah. Took me a while to adjust to not being able to get an A*.
Ah mate.
I can't draw.
*looks irritated*
(My sister saw this cooking vid on YouTube and the woman said 'make it rain make it rain'
So my sister has been saying it, not knowing what it actually meant xD )
:P
(Do you ever hear crude songs and think 'that's disgusting' but actually like the songs? I think the disgustingness of it gives it it's appeal)
@Chloe: I think it probably does.
I'm not particularly into disgusting songs but I do like disturbing songs, and it's pretty similar.
C(it's like.. Blood on the dance floor is a disgusting band but I like their songs...)
Not sure I've heard their songs . . .
(Their songs are 'sexting', 'I heart hello kitty' and 'scream for my icecream')
(And with song titles like that who needs lyrics?)
(Hehe have you read PATD titles?)
(*sighs heavily*
**!
Not a question mark.)
(Panic! At The Disco? You mean "I write songs not titles that will actually fit on your devices screen"?)
(Yeah XD )
(Yeah I've heard of them xD)
I have P!ATD's first album, so. :)
(I wuvs them.. Got my sister into them too ^.^)
:)
Seriously...
No one has been on since quarter past 10...
y'all are getting old. There's no life in the place anymore.
Where the bitches at!
I'm here! But I shouldn't be!
Because finalllssssss ewwwww
Oh we can get over 100% if you take AP/Honors
I don't get this getting-more-than 100 malarkey!
(Sorry if that all makes zero sense to anybody.)
(Also hello!!! and sorry for appearing out of nowhere and throwing a big block of text out here.
WOW that was longer than I thought
Sorry! :0
*hugs all*
(... *vary, not very, somewhere in that mess :P)
(You should've got the mark for a + b, usually it has the answer then oe, or equivalent..
Then again that is GCSE level)
Hi Jai! :)
Yeah, there was no oe, because you were supposed to be showing that for a particular function, the y values for x and -x would always be the same, or something like that. So I put in an extra step to show my workings, but it didn't really show my workings. :P
@Taia: :) Thank youbfor your textbwall.
UGH that a + b question is awful . . . if that happened to me I would be FUMING. -_-
Well we have standardize tests but they don't actually affect your grade and private school don't have to take them.
Also, only some teachers have extra credit
Tbh I much prefer the idea of everyone in the country sitting the same paper. It makes your grades much more reliable and comparable, if you ask me.
Then again, it's what I'm used to.
And like. I've been revising for my exams since Easter. So I've naturally become rather fond of our examination system, as a coping technique. I can't really allow myself to NOT be fond of it, tbh.
Thanks Star. Yeah. :P
Hey Dugglyn! OH, thanks! :)
Yeah, I know what you mean about standardised tests like that - idk about the rest of the UK but in Wales we did something called CATS about every other year(?), in maths and English and cognitive...something.
*nods at Star*
It also helps to make sure that when we go to college and when we go to university, for the most part everybody probably knows the same stuff??
But yeah. I like the concept of being able to go online and see how other people found the paper? Like if you find a paper quite difficult it's nice to know that you're not alone in the country. :P
And like... Past papers and reading through the specification and putting together good answers from the markshemes as well as your textbooks; I appreciate those things. :)
We didn't have CATs. Well maybe once in year six. But other than that, no.
*nods nods* :)
We have the SAT and ACT, and basically every high schooler takes at least one of them.
(Yo)
(TAIA GET BCK HERE
HELLO PEOPLES)
We have SATs when we're eleven/twelve. GCSEs when we're 15/16 although we start preparing for them when we're 14/15. AS exams when we're 16/17, although the government's getting rid of them (ish. You'll be tested on all your AS content when you do your A2 levels instead of doing them a year earlier). A2 levels when you're 17/18.
We don't have "finals," though. When you're younger you do have tests and stuff, and probably end of year tests, but you don't have big tests in the sane way.
(xD hey Chloe!)
(And star!)
(Rp?)
(Sure, you start!)
(Where were we..?)
Flauros: me and the wolf will start cutting trees.. Do we have any tools ?
Michael: No we don't
Mark: *sits in the corner of his room, frowning*
*is at his desk, some oven bake moulding stuff that I can't remember the name of in front of him*
*has been avoiding leaving him room quite a bit since he found out that the small black wolf was..
Lol our school made a big deal out of end of year tests every year after y7. We had to do them all in the hall and they issued timetables and seating plans. I think they even got external invigilators in once. :S
Hey Jai. :)
*HUGS CHLOE* :)
(need to have dinner bbs)
Mark: *plasticine!*
(Hey Taia!)
(*hugs Taia*)
Alys: I do.. In my o old place..
Clocky: *knocks on his door*
Michael: You said it's too dangerous to go back there.. I'll go.
*starts jogging in that direction*
Mark: *flinches, setting down his tools and balling the plasticine up again, pushing it away, glaring at it accusingly*
*grunts and starts trying to shape it again*
Who is it.
Alys: o okay..
Clocky: it's me..
Michael: *jogs quicker*
*reaches the house quickly*
*walks in through the door, looking for the tools*
Mark: Come in..
*focuses his attention on the "sculpture" which isn't working out at all*
Alys; *they are under the bed*
Clocky: *walks in* you okay?
Michael: *searches the living room for anything*
*goes to the kitchen*
Mark: Of course I am.
*glares at the sculpture for looking terrible*
*glares at his hands*
Clocky: whats wrong?
Alys; *sheinks away from flauros*
*hes scawy*
Michael: *searches the kitchen and frowns*
*goes into the bedroom*
Tresha: *sees Flauros and grins, skipping over*
Flaury!
*hugs him tightly, smiling*
*stares at all the furry people, mouth wide open*
*is currently in her human form*
Mark: Nothing, nothing.
*pushes the plasticine away*
How are you?
Flauros; *kisses her* hello beautiful.. I'm helping build a house
Flora: *chirps* Hi!!
Alys: *waits for michael*
Tresha: *kisses him back*
Wow, cool.
*blinks, kinda shocked by all the furries*
You're all..
Michael: *checks under the bed and sees the tools*
*grabs them all, dragging them out*
Mark: Hiw are you?
@Taia: O_O Oursvhoo never did that! End of year tests were sooo not a big deal.
I don't remember sitting SATs in year two.
Natani; life you?
Man; *steps out from behind michael* another one eh? *gets him in a chokehold*
Clocky: I'm.. Okay
^Our school
(Ugh. I hate how much harder it is for me to type on this phone. :P)
Tresha: *is in her human form remember*
*her eyes widen*
Wait how do you know that?!
Michael: *coughs, grabbing his arm and struggling*
*attempts to elbow the man, mist swirling violently around them*
Mark: only okay?
Natani: *can smell it* you smell the same as us
Man: *injects him quickly and tightens his hold*
Clocky: you seem off...
Tresha: *blushes slightly*
I smell?
Michael: *yells and coughs, choking, his face going bright red from the trapped blood*
*grits his teeth as his sight becomes blurry, struggling more*
*slowly, very slowly, fox ears push their way up out of his mane of hair, fox ears*
*passes out against the man as the ears finish growing, he also has a fox tail but as he's wearing pants this is hardly visible*
Mark: I'm just working.
Flora: Natani doesn't mean it like that's! We all have our scents
Man: shit.. Why didn't it work? *picks him up* but I may make money off of him
Clocky: on what?
Tresha: Oh..
*blinks, smiling*
There are so many of you!
Michael: *if he can pick Michael up I'm amazed*
*the boy is quite heavy*
Mark: trying to find something I can actually do.
Natani: there are quite a few of us, though we don't turn into humans
Man; *is having trouble but gets out of the house*
Alys: m micjael is t taking a while
Clocky: what.. Do you mean?
Tresha: This is amazing..
*looks at Alys*
Huh?
Michael: *still unconscious*
Mark: Well you have all that techy ability, I just wanted to find something I'm good at. Sculpting is apparently not it.
Alys: m Michael went to get tools.. H he isn't back,,
*the man takes him to the auction place and puts hum un leather shorts ANF bow tie**
Clocky: I can teach you techs stuff..
Tresha: Maybe he can't carry them all? We should go see if he needs help*
Michael: *returns to consciousness, slightly confused and disorientated*
*looks down at the ridiculous clothes he's wearing*
What the..?
*looks up and around*
Mark: No, it's fine. I want to find my own thing.
Alys: o okay
Flauros: I'll come with you
Man: *crosses arms* welcome back.. Come on, it's auction time
Clocky: if you're sure..
Tresha: *smiles, slipping her arm through his*
Let's go!
Michael: Auction? What!
*doesnt move*
What the hell do you mean!
*mist swirls slowly*
Mark: I am
Alys: *runs towards her old home*
Man: stop that! You are being auctioned off
You'll be property of the highest bidder
Clocks: *smiles* I'll help you
Tresha: *runs after her*
Michael: Like hell I am!
*the mist swirls faster*
Mark: Oh, okay, Coolio. Well I've tried sculpting drawing painting writing..
Flauris; *runs with them*
Alys;*catches the mans scent and stops* no..
Man; *draws his cattle prod* stop
Clocky: sports?
Tresha: *nearly runs into her but stood just quick enough*
What? What's wrong?
Michael: *glares, the mist continuing to swirl*
Go to hell.
Mark: Sports?
Alys: h he's been taken..
Man: *zaps him ^
Clocky: like football
Tresha: What? How can you tell??
Michael: *cries out, jerking and twitching, collapsing to the ground*
*groans quietly, glaring up at him*
I'm not moving.
Mark: Mmm..
*doesnt look very invested in that idea*
Alys; t the man who took me.. His scent is here..
Man: I wouldn't be like that if I were you
Count: sir Michael?
Clocky; try it?
Tresha: That can't be good.
Michael: *opens his mouth to keep arguing when he hears the count*
Sir Count! Tell this moronic mongrel that I am not some object to be sold to the highest bidder!
*hasnt actually noticed the fox parts he's grown yet*
Mark: *sighs*
Fine, but who am I meant to play with?
Als; w we have to get him back!!
Count; *tilts head * what happened to you?
Clocky: against me?
(I'm watching operation ouch, a kids programme
It was explaining why you get spots when you hit puberty
I could've sworn they said semen but they said sebum xD )
Tresha: Of course! How do we find him??
Michael: This weirdo injected me with something and kidnapped me! I woke up here in this stupid outfit.
*turns to the man*
And what the hell did you even inject me with?!
Mark: Can you play football?
(Sebum Chloe! Not Semen xD Sebum helps sweat to spread and also helps waterproof the skin)
(I had it turned down low so I didn't hear it right XD )
Alys: f follow the scent *runs, following the mans scent*
Man: you beware supposed to be another fox
Count: I don't think you shall get a high price for him.. I offer a thousand
Man: it doesn't look like there'll be anymore bidders... He is yours
Clocks: I can
(Ahhhh. I see.)
Tresha: *follows after her, dragging Flauros along*
Michael: well I'm not a fox!
*looks shocked when the count makes a bid, and even more shocked when the man accepts*
Hey! Not for f*cking sale!!!
Mark: Okay then
Flauros: I'm coming
ays: *runs fast*
Count: *drags him and whispers* when was the last time you saw your reflection
Clocks: cmon lets play!
Tresha: *runs after her as fast as she can't to keep up*
Michael: *glares at being dragged*
It was just before I was attacked by HIM.
Mark: Fine, fine.
*stands up*
Do we have a football?
Flauros: *runs*
Count: you may want to check again
clocky/ oh...
Tresha: *shifts to her furry self so she doesn't get tired as easily*
Michael: Why? He didn't brand me did he?
*checks the parts of his anatomy he can see*
*freezes when he sees the tail*
What.. What is that?
*the ears on his head flick back in fear, his tail tucking between his legs*
Michael: Maybe not football then..
Alys: *reaches the auction place*
Count: and the ears...
Clocks: an.y ideas?
Tresha: wait.. This place could be dangerous..
Michael: Ears?!
*puts his hands over his fox ears, going wide eyed*
*whispers*
What happened to me?
Mark: a sport that needs less equipment?
Alys: I g got to rescue him
Count: he injected you?
Clocks: cross country?
Tresha: we could wait until the person who has him leaves? Then we're safer.
Michael: But an injection shouldn't be able to give me fox parts!
*looks like he might start having a panic attack*
*I wonder if this'll teach the count a lesson about how to treat his furries*
Mark: Sure why not
Alys: b but..
Count: leads him outside* what was in the injection?
Alys: *spots them* Michael!
Clocks: shall we run?
Michael: I have no idea..
*looks up at his name being called*
Alys? What are you doing here?! Someone will take you!
Mark: Sure. Bet I can run ten miles faster than you.
Count: Alys?
Alys: I w went to find you and you were t taken... W why do you have fix parts?!
Clocks: try it
Michael: That's her real name.
*looks back at Alys*
Some man injected me.. And this happened. He brought me to the auction and dressed me like this.
*pauses*
He was going to sell me..
(Michael dude, he did sell you. To the count.)
Mark: what reward do I get if I manage it?
Alys: he I injected you? But you a are... Were h human...
Count: you technically belong to me now
Clocks: my love?
Michael: *looks at the count*
Wait.. You weren't serious about buying me were you? I'm not some animal to be sold to the highest bidder..
Tresha: You can't buy people..
Mark: Well I guess I could settle for that
*grins*
Count: i paid for you Michael, you're mine now
Clocks: yay!
Michael: What! But you know that I'm not some.. Some PET. Some SLAVE!
Mark: You know, at a push.
*grins, standing up*
Count: you are whati want you to be, you are mine now
Flauros: you can't keep him!
Clocks: let us go!
Michael: *is growing rather angry*
*backs away from the count*
And you think I'll just LET you OWN me?
Mark: *pulls her close, kissing her gently*
Okay.
Count: you have to, or I discipline you
Alys: l leave Michael alone!
Count: no, he Is mine now
Alys: n no!
Clocks: *kisses*
Michael: *flushes bright red from anger and also partially from behind told he's going to be disciplined*
You'll discipline me? You mean like you were going to discipline Alys.
Mark: *grins, walking to the front door*
Count:yes why? It's how o discipline all my disobedient slaves
Alys: I w won't let you
Count: insolence! *strikes her across the cheek*
Clocky: follows*
Michael: Hey!
*shoves him away from Alys*
Don't you dare strike her!
Tresha: *catches Alys and steadies her*
Mark: *squeezes her hand gently*
Alys: *whimpers*
Flauros: it's unbecoming to hit a lady *growls*
Count: she needs to learn her place! I've never had one of them talk to me like that before!
Clocks: *kisses his cheek*
Michael: She isn't some animal! She's a person, now apologise for hitting a lady.
Tresha: *squeezes her arm gently*
Mark: *smiles*
Mm.. Three.. Two.. One..
Count: never! I won't be told what to do by one of my servants.. She is as bad as an animal *grabs michael* lets go
Alys: *growls* l let him go
Clocks : run! *sprints*
Michael: Let me go!
*pulls against him, trying to shove him away*
Tresha: Let him go.
Michael: *laughs, running after her*
Count: *hardens his grip* no!
Alys: *grows and steps forward* let h him go before I make you
Count: I'd like to see you true. Why are you so bothered about letting him go any Ways?
Alys: b because .. He's my friend
Clocks: *runs as fast as she can*
Michael: *grimaces at his grip*
Let me go count!!!
Tresha: It's four people against you Count. I think you should let him go.
Mark: *grins, keeping pace with her*
Flauros: *growls* you better
Count: *sighs* fine, but I get the fox back
Alys: d deal!
Clocks: you.. Are...fast!
Michael: No! You aren't taking Alys back, you'll shoot her! Or worse! I'd sooner you take me.
Tresha: No one is going with you.
Mark: *laughs*
Yes I am!
Count: the wretch is *fpdrags alys*
Clocks: *start,s running out if breath*
Michael: *growls and smashes into the Count, punching him hard in the face*
LET HER GO NOW!
Tresha: *shifts closer to Flauros*
*she really isn't much of a fighter*
Mark: *laughs and scoops her up, running with her over his shoulder, tick tick tick ticking*
Count: *falls and looks shocked*
*moones ever treated him like that*
Alys: ...
Flautist: *holds tresh*
Clocks: *squeals*
Michael: *glares down at him, pushing Alys towards Tresha and Flauros*
I said, apologise.
Tresha: *catches Alys to steady her again*
Mark: *laughs, continuing to run with her*
Alys: I its okay m Michael..
Count: *mutters* I'm sorry..
Clocks: I love you
Michael: Good.
*takes his hand and helps the Count stand up again*
Leave Alys alone.
Mark: I love you too
Count: whatever
*gets up* good bye *stalks off*
Clocks: *grins*
Michael: *watches him walk away*
Mark: *keeps running with her*
Alys: *her cheek burns*
Clocks: *howls*
Sil: *is leaning against the Counts horse when he gets there, drinking some wine*
Well well well, beaten down by your own possessions. Such a shame. If only you'd had the right tools to control them.
Michael: *turns back to Flauros Tresha and Alys*
We should get back before anyone decides to try and take Alys again.
Mark: *laughs and howls loudly*
Count: who are you?
Alys: h how are you?
Clocks: *grins*
Sil: Someone who could help you. You couldn't control they, not when they both have magic and you can't hurt them from a distance. So I'm offering.. A gift.
*pulls two shock collars from her bag, both with sigils that will bind magic on them*
*takes a ring out of her pocket*
These could help. The ring will let you activate the collars from a distance..
Michael: I'm fine..
Mark: I love you love!
Count: why would you help me? What do you want in return?
Alys: sure *checks his temperature* I d don't know how the injection affected you..
Clocks: I love you too!
Sil: I want you to take them both away from their homes and to keep them in yours as pets and.. Entertainment. That's all I wish for. I'm a fan of the suffering of others.
Michael: *is burning hot*
It gave me ears and a tail.
