I came upon an empty shell Along a beach Where an ex-creature dwelled
I took the shell and tried it on It held me captive It imprisoned me
I tried to run I tried to escape But the shell it dragged me down
I spent the next 300 years Holding my breath until I drowned
Drowned
Everyone will one day hit the ground/ Why will I run When I can hide No better place Than deep inside/
Hesitate until there is no-/ The walls are comforting The sting of skin is sinking deep within/
Paranoia's really got me down/ I will begin to sleep And tell myself I will not be afraid
I will not be afraid
I will not be afraid
@Hunter... Maybe I can see what you mean about the peacefulness. But not until after the struggling. And the struggling part is the drowning. After that, it's just dying, isn't it?
@Dragona: O.O Wow. D: (Never going into space, here. :P)
((Hunter: Well, all of it is just death. It's the circumstances that pre-empt the death that are horrible. I don't know. Space sounds quite interesting.))
Hunter: *thinks that Silente is pretty much dead . . .* *he sighs - externally as well as internally this time, with the helmet - and grabs Silente, swimming upwards*
(The sigil shouldn't - because every person has like a link to magic and stuff. When you die the link is severed. Sigils are powered by magic. No magic - no working sigil. Especially since it's disconnected from her body, too.)
@Hunter: Well, if death is the absence of life, then surely it's not death until you stop living? So while you're living, you ARE in the extended process of dying, but it's not death, because it's still life. ...If that makes sense.
Oh, space is most definitely interesting. Space is INCREDIBLY interesting. But I'm beginning to think that I may be developing fear of suffocation under certain circumstances, and suffocation would be very easy in space. :P I mean, imagine being trapped in the midst of miles and miles of nothing, that your brain can't even comprehend, because as soon as you managed to understand the concept of nothingness, by definition it would cease to exist. AND you're suffocating. And freezing. And you can't hear. And there's no wind or air or.. anything. There wouldn't even be anything to feel except for the pain of your life's atrophy. It would be completely surreal in some of the most awful ways 0.0)
Star - I tried to write about the concept of that. But assuming that Keating is an N7 operative she wouldn't have been like in awe, because of the fact she'd have been trained in that environment. What I tried to get across was her feeling of panic. And suffocating and cold and stuff.
((okay so I've decided that no it wouldn't because if you have a fire that feeds from wood when the woods gone the fire dies and after if you put would in the same place it doesn't spontaniously set alight so no it wont))
*Lifts up the relic that she had in her fingers, studying it closely before she slips into her house, setting it on a shelf filled with artifacts and other numerous treasures* *She will have to study it later* *Goes back towards the others again to observe*
((Hunter: @Taia: So you're going to let fear control your life and not do anything? *then adds, because he likes Taia -* Although fear of space is a very valid one, and not going there won't necessarily restrict your life, so I'm sure it's fine.))
Hunter: *looks down at Silente* Next time, die privately, so I don't waste energy trying to help you. *and then he sighs* *because he's slightly upset, really* *and his eyes go grey as he looks around* *he sees Val and heads over to her*
No one going to tell me? *pokes the burnt, sodden dead body with his foot* It belongs to someone *stamps on its hand* On at least it did. No one appears to be home.
Hunter: *sees James and wonders whether to go over or not* *he's getting a sense of deja (would have typed that correctly, but Star can't be bothered) vu at the moment* *a rather strog one* *he's distinctly remembering having to make a decision of this nature not long ago* *and he decided to ruin his perfectly good mood to go and help people, and where did that get him?*
*steps forwards a moment before the blade would hit him turning at the same time* I know there's someone there. Who's the body? *gestures to said body* And do I know them?
(@Hunter: Well, I'm terrified of most things but that doesn't stop me from existing, so generally speaking, no. But specifically speaking, yes? :P And- thank you for the encouragement. :) (*grins, also* *happens to like Hunter, too. :P*)
Hi Annika! :)
(leaving my drawing, now, because light fading and I can't really see what I'm doing, and I don't want to kill it so close to finishing. :P But I'll probably still be distant, so I don't know why I'm informing you of this, really. So, like, never mind. *laughs* )
*is cut a few times but continues backing up to avoid the blade* Why do people feel the need to ignore questions? *teleports back to the body* *kneels next to it* Hmmm..looks familiar...
((Hunter: @Taia: That makes sense. *nods* (*oh, good :) :)*)
Star still hasn't finished her card. *he/Star pulls it forward to look at it* Hunter: *gazes at it in amusement* Oh, dear. I might be here for quite a while longer, then. :)))
Naturally, Hunter. I love experiencing new things. *Walks towards the hotel and swings the door open, looking around* *Takes out a pen and paper, scribbling a few notes*
Hunter; *coffee? She said it was tea* *feels quite annoyed* *coffee has more caffeine in it than tea* *that's the difference between bleeding and not bleeding, you know* *it's important*
*is hit by the sword in the back and grunts* *teleports to the other side of the body as he begins healing himself* *looks again at the body* Oh my. Is this.. *laughs darkly* Hahaha! Of course! Oh my dear Silente! What happened to you? *punches the dead bodies face* Your dead! Finally! So long you unwanted piece of trash! Good ridance! Who do I thank for getting rid of the vermin?
*turns and catches the sword pulling it from her grip* This may be the best news I've had all day. This is perfect...however we wouldn't want anyone resurecting her now would we? Hmm..how to avoid that...
*so to sum up has a broken neck, a damages hand, burnt skin all over that's basically black and ashy, water filled lungs and died by drowning in the lake*
((Hunter: @tea/coffee: That's fine. *shrugs* Just TRY and remember.)) *watches James, Dragona and the remains of Silente* *maybe he SHOULD go over there*
*catches the foot in his hand* *looks at her* Why do you care so much about her? It's not like she's important. And its not like she's emotionally important to you. She's scum, deserved to die and to stay dead. *grins*
*Notices Hunter's disappearance and sighs, tubing to go back to her small and rather quaint house to amuse herself with her menagerie* *Shuts the door tight behind her*
*realises Silente has gone* WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE JUST LET HER STAY DEAD! IT'S WHAT SHE WANTED! ETERNAL TORTURE IN THE PLACE SHE BLOOMIN WELL BELONGS IN! LET HER BODY ROT! IT'S WHAT SHE DESERVES.
Goodbye, Dragona; sleep well. *Picks up a small stone tablet from her shelf before she sets it down, beginning to translate it onto the paper, humming*
Hunter: *has pulled out a device that enhances sounds - (well, he's pulled out a phone, but it's a cool phone) - and is listening to James with amusement*
And when I find her imaking sure she stays dead. The little rat. For what she's done she deserves more than just dead. But maybe in death she can get her punishment for her past deeds.
Hunter: *raises eyebrows* *he's not really intending to resurrect Silente - he's not sure it's possible* *he might give it a go just to see how James would react, though* *well* *find someone else to give it a go*
Calls herself a hunted. She deserves it. Maybe when she learns not to kill her own kind, her own friends and her own long lost family she can moan about not deserving it. She's a bitch and if she comes back she'll be a dead bitch.
I'm doing a psychological profile of you, sir. For my notes. You aren't doing that well, I'm afraid you might be schizophrenic. Is there anyone I should call to come pick you up? Family members?
Oh, my good sir, who is the one with a doctorate in multiple fields here? Not you, certainly. *Puts a hand on his shoulder comfortingly* *Lifts up a torch to his eye, shining it into his pupil* Have you been drinking tonight, sir? Consuming illegal drugs?

Holding my breath until I drowned
Drowned
Everyone will one day hit the ground/
Why will I run
When I can hide
No better place
Than deep inside/
Hesitate until there is no-/
The walls are comforting
The sting of skin is sinking deep within/
Paranoia's really got me down/
I will begin to sleep
And tell myself I will not be afraid
I will not be afraid
I will not be afraid
@Hunter... Maybe I can see what you mean about the peacefulness.
But not until after the struggling.
And the struggling part is the drowning.
After that, it's just dying, isn't it?
@Dragona: O.O Wow. D:
(Never going into space, here. :P)
((Hunter: @Taia: Ah. Well done.
There are advantages and disadvantages to all of them, I think.))
((Hunter: Well, all of it is just death. It's the circumstances that pre-empt the death that are horrible.
I don't know. Space sounds quite interesting.))
(@hunter shes/I am already dead. She/I have drowned by now. The glow is feeding off the energy that remains which will soon be gone.)
*is dead*
*the glow fades and goes out*
*is now just a very burnt, basically indistinguishable, dead body that drowned at the bottom of a lake*
Hunter: *thinks that Silente is pretty much dead . . .*
*he sighs - externally as well as internally this time, with the helmet - and grabs Silente, swimming upwards*
((Hunter: Will the sigil still burn when/if you get resurrected?))
(er...I have no idea. Didn't think that far ahead. Give me a sec to mill over that question)
((Hunter: *sighs*))
(The sigil shouldn't - because every person has like a link to magic and stuff. When you die the link is severed. Sigils are powered by magic. No magic - no working sigil. Especially since it's disconnected from her body, too.)
*Reappears just outside her house again, exhausted, before she collapses into the grass from fatigue*
I mean, imagine being trapped in the midst of miles and miles of nothing, that your brain can't even comprehend, because as soon as you managed to understand the concept of nothingness, by definition it would cease to exist.
AND you're suffocating.
And freezing.
And you can't hear.
And there's no wind or air or.. anything.
There wouldn't even be anything to feel except for the pain of your life's atrophy.
It would be completely surreal in some of the most awful ways
0.0)
Star - I tried to write about the concept of that. But assuming that Keating is an N7 operative she wouldn't have been like in awe, because of the fact she'd have been trained in that environment.
What I tried to get across was her feeling of panic. And suffocating and cold and stuff.
((okay so I've decided that no it wouldn't because if you have a fire that feeds from wood when the woods gone the fire dies and after if you put would in the same place it doesn't spontaniously set alight so no it wont))
Oh and: Star, there's a new part of my ME story up if you have time to read it.
*Lifts up the relic that she had in her fingers, studying it closely before she slips into her house, setting it on a shelf filled with artifacts and other numerous treasures* *She will have to study it later*
*Goes back towards the others again to observe*
*is burnt beyond recognition*
*the only trait left is her size*
*laying on the shore in a sodden, burnt heat*
*looks at Silente's body*
*looks at Hunter*
I want my helmet back.
**heap
((Hunter: @Taia: So you're going to let fear control your life and not do anything?
*then adds, because he likes Taia -*
Although fear of space is a very valid one, and not going there won't necessarily restrict your life, so I'm sure it's fine.))
Hunter: *looks down at Silente*
Next time, die privately, so I don't waste energy trying to help you.
*and then he sighs*
*because he's slightly upset, really*
*and his eyes go grey as he looks around*
*he sees Val and heads over to her*
Hunter: *hands Dragona his helmet back*
*Catches Hunter's eye and waves*
*puts helmet on*
Hunter: *walks to to Val* Hi.
*teleports in at the tree line*
*sees the dead body*
*walks forwards*
And who would this be?
*kicks the bodies head really hard breaking its neck*
Hello again, Hunter. *Offers her mug* Care for some of my tea?
*the Hotel melts out of the ground with a noise like the ShamWow guy coughing*
*hangs out of a second-floor window*
Hulloo.
No one going to tell me?
*pokes the burnt, sodden dead body with his foot*
It belongs to someone
*stamps on its hand*
On at least it did. No one appears to be home.
Hunter: No thank you.
*turns around as the Hotel materialises*
*his eyes brighten slightly*
That's a cool hotel.
*becomes invisible*
*reappears behind James and slashes her sword at his back*
Isn't it, though?
*returns downstairs*
*sits at the desk and shuffles through paperwork*
*Shrugs*
Hello, Clara!
Hunter: *sees James and wonders whether to go over or not*
*he's getting a sense of deja (would have typed that correctly, but Star can't be bothered) vu at the moment*
*a rather strog one*
*he's distinctly remembering having to make a decision of this nature not long ago*
*and he decided to ruin his perfectly good mood to go and help people, and where did that get him?*
*he stays where he is*
*strong
Hullo, Valencia!
*steps forwards a moment before the blade would hit him turning at the same time*
I know there's someone there. Who's the body?
*gestures to said body*
And do I know them?
I will be distant.
Extremely distant.
Distant like your hopes and dreams.
(Good day miss Barnosky.)
*keeps slashing at James, moving forward so her sword can reach*
Good day, Mr. Venemous.
Hunter: @Val: *gestures to Midnight Hotel* Do you want to go inside the cool hotel?
((Might suddenly go distant, sorry.))
(@Hunter: Well, I'm terrified of most things but that doesn't stop me from existing, so generally speaking, no.
But specifically speaking, yes? :P
And- thank you for the encouragement. :)
(*grins, also* *happens to like Hunter, too. :P*)
Hi Annika! :)
(leaving my drawing, now, because light fading and I can't really see what I'm doing, and I don't want to kill it so close to finishing. :P
But I'll probably still be distant, so I don't know why I'm informing you of this, really.
So, like, never mind.
*laughs* )
It's a pleasure to meet you, of course.
*She finishes her coffee, and drops the cup on the ground, where it melts into a watery substance*
*is cut a few times but continues backing up to avoid the blade*
Why do people feel the need to ignore questions?
*teleports back to the body*
*kneels next to it*
Hmmm..looks familiar...
*vanishes and reappears behind James again, swinging a sword at his back*
((Hunter: @Taia: That makes sense. *nods*
(*oh, good :) :)*)
Star still hasn't finished her card.
*he/Star pulls it forward to look at it*
Hunter: *gazes at it in amusement* Oh, dear.
I might be here for quite a while longer, then. :)))
*the Hotel poofs, sadly*
Naturally, Hunter. I love experiencing new things. *Walks towards the hotel and swings the door open, looking around* *Takes out a pen and paper, scribbling a few notes*
Or not. Ignore my comment, then.
Hunter; *coffee? She said it was tea*
*feels quite annoyed*
*coffee has more caffeine in it than tea*
*that's the difference between bleeding and not bleeding, you know*
*it's important*
Hunter: *frowns* That's annoying.
I have a teleporting house. Hotels are worth more than houses, though.
*thinking of Monopoly*
*is hit by the sword in the back and grunts*
*teleports to the other side of the body as he begins healing himself*
*looks again at the body*
Oh my. Is this..
*laughs darkly*
Hahaha! Of course! Oh my dear Silente! What happened to you?
*punches the dead bodies face*
Your dead! Finally! So long you unwanted piece of trash! Good ridance! Who do I thank for getting rid of the vermin?
*Tea
Apologies, I was distracted while writing that.
*reappears behind James again, swinging the sword*
(*thinking of monopoly*
xD )
*turns and catches the sword pulling it from her grip*
This may be the best news I've had all day. This is perfect...however we wouldn't want anyone resurecting her now would we? Hmm..how to avoid that...
*launches a shockwave of electricity at James*
*jerks spasdomatically at the electricity*
*gets up blinking*
Ugh..that works....ow. Was it you who killed her? If so you have my thanks.
*shadow walks away*
*grabs her sword back*
*so to sum up has a broken neck, a damages hand, burnt skin all over that's basically black and ashy, water filled lungs and died by drowning in the lake*
((Hunter: @Taia: Well, I was. :)))
((Hunter: @tea/coffee: That's fine.
*shrugs*
Just TRY and remember.))
*watches James, Dragona and the remains of Silente*
*maybe he SHOULD go over there*
*teleports back in swinging a big ass axe at Silente's neck hoping that if her head is seperated from its body they won't be able to resurect her*
I apologize, Hunter; I will.
((Hunter: *nods at Val* That's fine. :)))
*appears, slicing her sword at the handle of the axe to block the strike from James*
*is blocked and nearly drops the axe from the reverberations*
SHE WILL STAY DEAD!
*lifts the axe for another swing*
*throws another electric shockwave at James*
*drops the axe and jerks on the ground*
*stops jerking*
She will stay dead even if I have to rip her head of myself!
*slices her sword at James repeatedly*
*grabs the sword at the blade* *ignores the cut this makes on his hand*
*pulls it frhm her hands and flips it around* *swings it at Silente's neck*
*rolls, grasping the sword Silente had previously and using it to block James' swing*
*the blades clash with sparks*
Go. To. HELL!
*swings again and again towards Silente's neck*
*blocks again and launches a kick at James' stomach*
*catches the foot in his hand*
*looks at her*
Why do you care so much about her? It's not like she's important. And its not like she's emotionally important to you. She's scum, deserved to die and to stay dead.
*grins*
Hunter: *teleports in* *grabs Silente's remains, levitating half of it* *teleports out, and grabs energystick, recharging*
*he hasn't gone far; he hopes they don't notice him*
*Notices Hunter's disappearance and sighs, tubing to go back to her small and rather quaint house to amuse herself with her menagerie* *Shuts the door tight behind her*
*realises Silente has gone*
WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE JUST LET HER STAY DEAD! IT'S WHAT SHE WANTED! ETERNAL TORTURE IN THE PLACE SHE BLOOMIN WELL BELONGS IN! LET HER BODY ROT! IT'S WHAT SHE DESERVES.
(I have to go now. Bye!)
((Hunter: See you soon, Dragona.))
*doesn't answer James* *he's hiding* *sort of*
(So Long dragona.)
*glares at a tree* *said tree bursts into flame*
Fine. I'll find her before you can bring her back. It's not that hard.
Hunter: *raises eyebrows*
*he's not really intending to resurrect Silente - he's not sure it's possible*
*he might give it a go just to see how James would react, though*
*well* *find someone else to give it a go*
*Finds that James has interesting monologues*
*Bikes her way over to James*
*Stops*
You have interesting monologues
Calls herself a hunted. She deserves it. Maybe when she learns not to kill her own kind, her own friends and her own long lost family she can moan about not deserving it. She's a bitch and if she comes back she'll be a dead bitch.
And concerning. Perhaps you should see a psychologist. Tell me, *Pulls out her pad and paper* Do you speak to yourself often?
Hunter: *what is it everyone has against bitches?*
*looks at Valencia*
Where's the scums body.
Whose?
*spits out the words*
Silente. Tempests. Body.
*Shrugs* Who knows.
*Writes a few notes down* So how long have you been seeing the body of Silente Tempest? This is crucial, mind you. I must know.
*frowns at Valencia*
Are you crazy. What in gods name are you doing?
I'm doing a psychological profile of you, sir. For my notes. You aren't doing that well, I'm afraid you might be schizophrenic. Is there anyone I should call to come pick you up? Family members?
I'm not schizophrenic.
Hunter: *smiles, his eyes lighting up, and he wishes he could laugh aloud*
Oh, my good sir, who is the one with a doctorate in multiple fields here? Not you, certainly. *Puts a hand on his shoulder comfortingly*
*Lifts up a torch to his eye, shining it into his pupil* Have you been drinking tonight, sir? Consuming illegal drugs?
*his pupils don't react*
*pulls free of her*
Are you off your rocker?! Jesus Christ your all nutters!
*shakes his head*
Crazies.
(wait is that a well known term or is it a Yorkshire thing?)
Hunter: *stands there, grinning*
*then he lies down and grins, because why not*
((Hunter: Star's brain being Yorshirian, I wouldn't know, sorry.))
Sir, I would advise you to not move too quickly- your intoxication might betray you. *Sets him down on a rock*
(It may just be a Yorkshire thing. Oh well.)
*gets up quickly and smoothly*
I am not intoxicated. You on the other hand are crazy.
Perhaps one too many trips through the temporal ride might have caused that, yes.
..
You realize I'm mocking you, correct?
-I walk in, my posse of Alex Gauntlet, Dwyer and Dantè behind me-
Hello, all!
Yes and it is not appreciated. Good bye.
*teleports to behind Hunter*
Boo.
Hunter: *personally thinks they're both crazy* *thinks we're all crazy*
*this is fun*
Hunter: *frowns, his eyes falling in shade a bit and going to grey* Hey.
*turns around*
-I waver off Alex and Dwyer, Dantè shifting into a crow, flying onto my shoulder-
Give me the body.
-I walk into the middle of everyone, stomping the ground, a stone table and chairs rising up-
Take a seat.
Hunter: *looks at James, eyes still grey* What would you say if I said okay?
(hello Chord.)
Hunter: *frowns at Chord* Hey. Bodily transactions here.
*Tentatively takes a seat*
*ignores the chairs and table prefering to stand*
I'd say good and then take the body and make sure it could never be resurected. Ever.
*Takes her seat as well* *Stares at Valencia curiously*
-I look up at Adra-
Uh.
Did you forget what happened yesterday?
*Frowns*
Right...
*Gets up and walks slowly away*
*Stands up out of her seat* What happened yesterday?
Nothing, nothing.
You may sit.
Err....*decides its probably unwise to join*
Adrasdos, would you like to see what we've done with Delila's blood?
Hunter: . . . And what if I said not okay?
*makes a :( face at Adra leaving*
*looks at Chord*
*still stands*
*Frowns, then perches on the edge of her seat* Very well. Hello, I'm Valencia Devoid, who are you?
If you said it wasn't okay I'd strap you to a surgical table and let some rats free to greet you while I found her myself. Now give her to me.
-I turn my attention to Valencia-
I'm Chord Waylett.
Here on my shoulder is Dantè.
-I tap the table, Dantè going over to Valencia-
You can pat him, if you'd like.
He'll bite you unless he has my direct permission.
Welcome, Zafira.
(Hello Zaf. Guess what. Silente died.)
Oh, that's alright. Observation often renders physical touch unnecessary. *Peers at the bird* He's a very beautiful crow, Chord.
Oh, not again!
I shall dedicate to the Bubble again. And to her trusty sidekick, or something, Hunter.
And to everyone I've met today!
Why thank you.
Adra doesn't seem to like him.
-I chuckle-
Hunter: *thinks about it* Always wanted to meet some rats.
((Hey Zaf. :)))
(*laughs at the idea of Hunter being stars sidekick*)
Hunter let's simplify this. Are you giving me her body to dispose of?
Crows have been known to repel people, it doesn't surprise me that she would.
Curious.. *Gently touches the table* May I ask how you created this?
((HUnter: SIDEKICK?
No, Val, she's MY sidekick.
*glares at Star, daring her to disagree*
*then frowns*
She's not even my sidekick.))
((Star: Thanks. :) :) :) :)))
Hunter: I don't know, am I?
