Well... that was fun.
My first time on Twitter proved to be something of an avalanche. You know, in a "oh my god run run run" kinda way.
I'll be using it to tell little stories here and there. Some of them will be Skulduggery related, some of them won't- such as the cute little axe murderer story from Saturday night. Some of them may even be related to the series I'll be writing AFTER Skulduggery. Ooooooh! (But I don't know about this. I literally just thought of that right there.)
I'd like to be able to post stories quite regularly, but I'm not committing myself to anything right now. Neither am I going to be using Twitter in the normal way. Instead, I'll be typing with my toes.
No, wait, that's not what I mean. I mean, I have rules. RULES! And they shall not be broken!
RULE 1: I SHALL NOT FOLLOW!
I only follow two people, and both of those just happen to be attractive lady fighters. That's a pure coincidence, I swear.
My point is, I am not going to open up Twitter every day and see a thousand different streams of tweets from a thousand different people. This will EAT UP MY TIME, and I cannot allow this to happen.
RULE 2: I SHALL NOT RETWEET!
I've seen requests for retweets on Ronda Rousey's page, and people actually get annoyed when she doesn't do it. I'm going to cut this off at the knees before it even gets started— no RT's for me.
RULE 3: I SHALL NOT REPLY!
Again, people get annoyed if you don't reply. They think you're being rude or disrespectful. They think you're ignoring them. While all these things are quite true, replying to everyone is just impossible. Also, it will EAT UP MY TIME. And I need my time for doing the thing you want me to do. Which would you rather— that I write more books, or reply to your tweets?
No, I can't do both. I can't. Shush. Shuttup. Stop. You're making this worse. Quiet. Shhhhhhhhhh.
And here it is, the final and most important rule of all.
RULE 4: I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO BREAK ANY OF THESE RULES AT THE SLIGHTEST WHIM.

Ok, I can't stay, but y'all ALL need to see Les Miserables! I saw it yesterday, and it was AMAZING!
I mean, there were a couple of scenes I didn't like, but overall, it was absolutely amazing.
And more than that, it almost got me crying SEVERAL times, and I never even ALMOST cry. That's saying something.
It was such a wonderful movie, but you have to go in there prepared for lots of singing, because only a couple lines here and there are actually spoken, and no, I'm not exaggerating. I knew this, but I was still taken by surprise :P
Let's see, Red and Black, Do You Hear the People Sing, and Look Down were, I think, my three favorites, but there were... MULTITUDES of amazing singing...

Hey, so it turned out I had fifteen minutes more that I didn't realize..., and when I saw this, I couldn't resist. You can totally ignore it if you want, I just tweaked it a bit because, already, it was really awesome. The imagery was fantastic! I love it when you can see it in your mind's eye...
Katrina’s left boot was soaked through, and the leather had shrunk and was stuck on her foot. She wrenched it off and left it to steep the floor in the grime and mud of the city canals, adding to the pattern of the floor with rust and stone and brick. Katrina didn’t notice or particularly care. She padded softly, barefoot now, to the white-paned windows. She pushed aside the delicate lace of the curtains to see chipped pinto blue banging against itself in a wailing gust of wind. Katrina pushed her once-crisp sleeves to her elbows and unlatched the window. Determined, she gently steadied the shutters and separated them with strong fingers. The wind threw itself inside with a vicious shriek and battered her eyes with icy shards of rain. Her lids twitched down over grey-blue eyes until the wind’s temper had soothed itself to a low moan and the rain splattered only softly into her hair, the color of maple wood shavings with a heavy, dull, finish from the rain so it was almost as dark as the black bandanna that kept it in place. Her vest collar plastered itself to her as she opened her eyes wider to peer out into the dirty alley openings and canal. It was full of muddy water spraying almost as fire into the storm.
Where was Jack? She and he had both left hours ago to play ‘street magician’. Katrina was to cover the market, and he the docks. There were a surprising number of people there, but in hindsight, it seemed to make sense that they would get used to the rain… Apparently, that was all it did here.
Katrina had come back early- about half an hour early. She got wet from rain spraying under the tent, and was shivering, despite a change of clothing and drying her hair as best she could with a hotel towel…
If she was still shivering, Jack was probably literally oscillating wherever he was, probably a tavern, a boathouse or..., wherever. He never much seemed to mind getting wet though, but he had no excess clothing and it had been hours… Still, knowing him, he had most likely coaxed some kind-hearted woman into getting him a coat and played someone for a drink.

In other news- I have, of course, devoted plenty of time I should have spent studying plotting your ulitmate demise, along with the rest of those who read MC... It should be good.
I'm decent...totally wiped from having to last-minute understudy Alice from Alice in Wonderland, with two hour's notice and no prior knowledge that I was even the understudy. Actually, I wasn't. And thankfully it was only four scenes, not the whole play, and I could use a script.

Oh! I just remembered the dream I had last night! It was so weird!
Skipping over the things I've forgotten, I only remember the end, before I woke up.
The whole dream had to do with me and some others finding someone to sing Iris, by the Goo Goo Dolls... No idea why. Anyway, can't remember WHY someone had to save me, or who it was, but at the very end I saw the words, blank(someone's name I forgot) saved Lav(it was actually my given name though)!
But the weirdest part was the other thing... "And Fabi saved Fabi!"

Yeah, my whole MC subplot just kind of changed because Rosa threw herself into it... But anyway, it's still coming along nicely. And I'm working on my next chapter. And I'm glad you're happy, Lav! And Fabi, you have truckloads of talent- otherwise I wouldn't read your writing. Seriously- I cannot read bad writing. It actually gives me headaches.
