Are we all nervous? Terrified, even? Are we all dreading December 21st, the last day on Earth as predicted by the Mayans? Although, as Jon Stewart pointed out on The Daily Show, the Mayans haven't exactly got the best track record as far as predicting the end of civilisations go... to wit, the Mayans...
But I digress.
So how will you be spending the last day on Earth? Will you be surrounded by loved ones? Will you be sobbing into a tub of ice cream? Will you, in fact, forget all about the end of the world because you still haven't got your Christmas shopping done?
Or will you be reading a very special end-of-the-world short story as posted on this very Blog- a short story that will ONLY be available on the 21st and 22nd before being taken down- in which Skulduggery and Valkyrie track down the cause of the world's destruction and do their very best to avert it? A short story called "The Button"?
Hmm? Is THAT what you'll be doing?

But the fact is, I can't not forgive people quite a lot, so if I tried to start a hate feud with you just to prove a point it wouldn't last very long, like it would end after a few minutes, because people have so many brilliant upsides. And how can you hate the downsides when the upsides wouldn't exits without them? We should be grateful to the downsides. Even though that's hard, sometimes. Like, for me as well. And when you even suggest starting a hate feud thing, even though you won't do it . . . for me, I immediately see all the reasons why I shouldn't. Like, when I go DAMN SLEEPING BAGS WHY DO YOU ALWAYS FALL OUT THE CUPBOARD ONTO MY HEAD, I always feel sorry for the sleeping bags and see how it isn't their fault, and how they have to be stuck in a cupboard all day, and have no choice in the matter, and don't WANT to fall out, and it hurts when they fall out, and it's our fault for not putting them in properly, and then I'm like sorry.
So . . . remember that all Aiden's downsides are good, because if he didn't have them, he wouldn't have any upsides, and wouldn't even be a person.

There was this high-pitched noise that had been irritating me for a few minutes, like when your phone's still in the charger when it's fully charged (my phone charger makes this high-pitched noise then, but yeah). And I was getting puzzled - my phone wans't charging, and was plugging and unplugging plugs and opening the window and stuff. And then I blocked my right ear, and the ringing stopped. When I unblocked it, it started up again.
My ear is malfunctioning. :O
