And Tom isn't even FINISHED it yet...! There's going to be some colour stuff happening, and some cool silver effects added and things, but even as it stands now, this is a cover that's going to pop out at you on the bookshelf. For Tom is awesome.
Speaking of paperbacks, we're going to start gradually removing the short stories from the reprints, with the aim of collecting everything (including the Tanith novella) into one big book in the spring of 2014. There'll be lots of brand new stories in there as well, covering the entire series. So will we see a short story starring Mr Bliss, back when he was alive? Will we see Val and pre-Remnant Tanith fighting side by side once again? Will we even catch a glimpse of Skulduggery and the Dead Men at war with Mevolent...?
To be honest I haven't a clue. I'm just making things up as I go along.

RH: I hate her! Acting like death would be a reward! She's naïve, thinking I can't hurt her. Well she's wrong! I can always hurt her! Always!
[The others in the room nod and murmur their agreements]
RH: She's foolish, trying to make me think she's alone. She's never alone. There's always someone that she gets attached too. I just need to watch her. To find out who they are.
[One of the figures around the room step forward]
Sir, perhaps its time to let it go. Surely she's got the message by now? You should stop wasting your time on her.
[The red headed vampire whirls around.
Moving in a blur he slams the younger vamp against the wall, holding him there by his throat]
RH: Are you questioning me? She embarrassed me in front of all of you! Made me seem weak! She left us! One of mine LEFT US!
[He drops the offending vampire and continues to stalk, addressing the group]
RH: I gave her immortality and she left! Turned her back on us! She is an ungrateful brat! And as such she needs to be taught a lesson. However it seems the lessons I've already taught her still aren't enough.
[The younger vampire stands and says]
Maybe a new approach Sir?
[The red headed vampire paused.]
RH: A new approach? What would you suggest...Markus?
Markus: Instead of framing her for the murder of her families and friends perhaps they should just disappear? Or instead of framing her for it, make her do it.
RH: Make her do it? I like that. But how so? How do you force someone to hurt a friend?
Markus: Well sir. There is a time for ALL of us where we aren't thinking clearly. Where we attack anyone.
RH: Yes. Yes there is. But she has already lost control near people, the smell of the beast still clung to her when we met.
Markus: Then make her lose control when her friends are vulnerable. Take one. Leave clues so she can find them. Then when she finds them have them chained up. Close the door behind her and wait.
RH: As good an idea as that is I have ran out of patience with her. I will not wait! We continue as normal. Find her friends, kill them before her and leave them as her feet. Then, when she finally gets angry enough to fight back, I shall take her head! She shall die by my hands.
[A cruel smile twists his lips and his eyes glimmer with hatred]
And then I shall continue with my life. Finally all my enemies will be dead. Now go! Find her! Watch her. Find out who her friends are. But don't kill them! Not yet. I will send word when you are to do so. Now, leave me!
[There is a flurry of movement as all but the Red Head leave the room]
[He walks over to a dresser, the only furniture in the room and picks up one of the picture resting on it]
