Everyone has birthdays. These birthdays are celebrated. Sometimes there are parties. These things happen. These things are normal.
Some other people have birthdays that are celebrated in their absence, halfway around the world, by people they have never actually met. These things are definitely not normal. But these things happen to me.

I'm not suicidal and I'm pretty proud of it. No reason why I should be proud of it. Just am. :)
Only occasionally I do think about the subject of suicide without the desire to commit it. One time at rockclimbing I spent half of the session thinking of a song called Inside the Fire, which is, uh, about suicide. Then I spent the other half thinking of a way to say you were thinking about suicide without sounding like you wanted to commit suicide, because I wanted to be able to think to myself, "Huh, I've been thinking about suicide all session. My brain is such a cheerful place," without sounding suicidal.
. . . To quote myself, my brain is such a cheerful place . . .
I'm not feeling at all depressed atm, btw. I'm reallt cheerful. I just like trying to solve things like this. I know, I'm odd. :)
