Yay! Fun!

As a treat, and to help you pass the time until I announce the title of the new book, the kindly folks at Harper Collins have come up with something that thrills me to the very core — a throwback to my childhood love of video arcades and all things Space Invaders...

Unbelievably awesome...

  1. (Hello, Jaimie. *cuddles her tightly*)

Lorelei: *she runs past them, being chased by the parasite which, rather than running, is teleporting a few metres at a time*

Bethany: Okay... Okay... I'm calm... So the man was made of plastic?

  3. (Hello, Star. And you are welcome. I would have offered someone to be able to get first, but a certain someone stole it.)

  4. (*cuddles briefly but tightly back*
    *goes back to panicking*)

    Onwa: *blinks, watching*
*grabs Liliana, teleporting them both so they're appearing beside Lorelei*

    *nods*
    Yes.

  7. Those days when you just sort of want to go to sleep and not do work.
Also, those days when you get nine hours of sleep and then you wake up and you're tired anyway and then you're tired all day, which doesn't exactly help you find motivation to do stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Also, those days when you just don't give a fuck and everyone else is saying stuff adn you're just like "go away and shut up beacuse even though you're not being annoying you're annoying me."

    ReplyDelete
  9. (Allllllllllll the maths ones which are due tomorrow.
My friend says she'll send me them after her violin lesson.
Then I'll have to hand draw them and write them and THEN work them out...
    Hmph.
    No sleep tonight then.)

  11. *hides* Don't shoot me, Star!!!

I just realized I totally broke logic...

    Oops.

I won't let Loki talk today, due to his mood. I keep hearing how he'll kill Charles, on the levels of pissed, he's level three of: I am hiding my rage, but when you least expect it, I'll kill you, but frst your life will be hell.

  12. (I do not especially see the point in it, either.

Jaimie - it will be alright. Attempt to find them on the internet?)

Lorelei: I'm so glad you're in my dream, my queens.

Liliana: *she fires black energy from her palm at the parasite*

Parasite: *she waves her arm dismissively, knocking the energy away, before aiming her hand at Liliana, black lightning arcing towards her*

Liliana: *she draws her dagger, blocking the lightning, knocking it off target in a similar manner, firing a pulse of black energy again*

Bethany: Oh... It's given me a rash. *she looks at her finger*

    ReplyDelete
  13. @Jai: Ah . . .
    :/
Do you want me to help you with the hand drawing and writing? If you haev a printer, that is.

Also, I like you, so you don't annoy me. It's good. :P

    ReplyDelete
  14. :)
Don't worry, Zaf, I don't believe in shooting people. :P

Also, yeah to the internet idea. What kind of questions are they? Because we do past papers in maths now adn the questions we've done int he papers keep popping up int he exercises we do for school . . . :P

    ReplyDelete
  15. Onwa: *fires beams of boiling silver light at the parasite also materializing small chunks off moon rock and firing them like bullets*

    *kisses her finger gently*
    Silly..

  16. STORM IT.
    WHY, ART HOMEWORK, WHY.
THEY'RE JUST REQUIRING WAY TOO MUCH WORK OF ME AND I'M LIKE "I work in random spurts. I cannot consistently provide large spurts without switch-off for ten weeks. Shut up. Go away."

*goes to find out how much % my art is exam work because I am not going to get an A* on this exam*

  17. @Zaf: :) I hsould think most people do.

Soooo did I just earn a nobody but Star wants to talk to me, type of day? I mean of who is on.

  19. STORMS
    IT'S 40% EXAM

OKAY, TEHER GOES MY ART GRADE THEN.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @Zaf: I think they're distant.
    . . .
I should be, too. Wbd, msd. :P

    ReplyDelete
  21. (I believe in shooting people for the right reasons.)

Parasite: *she knocks Liliana's energy aside, before being struck by the silver light, which melts the skin of her face, making her look even more menacing* *black lightning intercepts the rocks, turning them to dust*

Lorelei: *she holds her necklace tightly, before zipping around the back of the parasite faster than an eye can follow, tripping over and then zipping back*

Liliana: *she takes the advantage, throwing waves of black energy at the parasite*

Bethany: *she forms a bandage in her hand, wrapping it around her finger*

Claire: I suppose plastic can be made from oil... Which is dead things.

    ReplyDelete
  22. WHY'D YOU HAVE TO POST IT WHILE I'M AT SCHOOL THOUGH?

It's funny, the last post was supposed to be the annoying one, but this one's actually more annoying just now. :-P

    ReplyDelete
  23. I AM GOING TO FAIL GCSE ART.
I HAVE DECIDED JUST NOW NOT TO TAKE ART FOR A LEVEL.
ACADEMIC SUBJECTS ALL THE WAY. THEY'RE MUCH LESS WORK. :P OR AT LEAST YOU CAN REVISE FOR THEM AND IF YOU HAVE AN OFF WEEK ON REVISION IT DOESN'T MATTER. STORMS.

    ReplyDelete
  24. (I do not see why people are getting so irritated. You will learn the title anyway, so the delay means nothing, and it will, including the reveal post, have given us three more posts to use.)

  25. @Lantern: XD Lol.

    OHMYGOSH -
In historoy today we were doing about surgery, as we have been for a while now (and I get to fangirl abotu teh Stromglight Archive beacuse surgery so it's cool), and I learn that shock was not a medical diagnosis until the 18th century, and that this was funny considering how many humans had lost blood in the history of forever, but that it was probably because bloodletting was so hihgly regarded as a diagnosis and that they pretty much used bloodletting to cure anythign, including the symptoms of shock.
    Like
    like
THEY USED BLOODLETTING TO CURE BLOODLOSS.
I jsut foudn this /so funny/ and was like laughing my head off, except the classroom was siletne so everyone was staring at me, so I had to stop laughing for long enough to explain and they were all like 'it's not that funny but idk I think it's storming hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Sophia: But they want to know NOW.
    I can understand.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I see what you mean, Sophia, but since you're not exactly a fangirl, it's a lot easier for you to say that.

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Moss: Exactly.

I don't care overly much about titles, tbh. But still; I can get it. I /dream/ about the next Stormlight Archive book coming out sooner than existed, for heaven's sake. :P

    ReplyDelete
  29. (I suppose it does, Fabi. I do not especially fangirl over anything.)

    ReplyDelete
  30. I love space invaders need to stop playing before i get addicted

    ReplyDelete
  31. @Sophia: Yes, but it means an awful lot to some people.

    ReplyDelete
  32. (Sorry was eating :)

Onwa: Hmm.. hardly the intention. That was meant to harm her not make her scary.
*joins Liliana in throwing wave after wave of energy, her own silver and bubbly, like acid it'll cling to her should it hit*

    *nods*
Yeah.. Oh. What about poly what-cha-ma-call it in clothes?

    ReplyDelete
  33. (Hello, Gemma.

Perhaps, Star. Family, homes and friends, I can understand. Books, less so. Especially when said books deal with murder, violence and death in a comedic manner.)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Parasite: *she vanishes quickly*

    Bethany: ... What?

    Claire: Polyester?

    Bethany: What's that?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I just decided to delet my Stormglight Archive quotes off my phone (they're all on my laptop, so), and I clicked 'delete' and it said "Are you sure you want to delet these 288 items?" and I was just like "TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-EIGHT WTF." :P

    ReplyDelete
  36. Onwa: *moves to liliana's side*

    Its plastic in clothes..

    ReplyDelete
  37. Liliana: Well, that was interesting. *she turns to Lorelei, who has a slit throat* Onwa, go. Right now.

Bethany: I learned that plastic existed right now... It's safe to say my clothes don't have any in. Cotton and silk.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Sophia: *sighs* Books are friends and family and home . . . and maybe books mean less than friends and family and home, but they still mean more than, say, a waste paper basket (generally).

    ReplyDelete
  39. Onwa: Go where?
    *frowns and turns to see*
    Crap.

    Some clothes do..

    ReplyDelete
  40. Liliana: *she grasps Onwa's shoulder and they vanish in a flash of black, and Onwa reappears in their realm, but Liliana is not there*

    Bethany: We should be careful...

    ReplyDelete
  41. @Silente: This book, in particular, is the one that most people here enjoy especially much.

    ReplyDelete
  42. (Wrong person Star :)

Onwa: *stands quickly, spinning, looking around wildly*
    LILIANA?!
*teleports quickly to many different places around the realm, searching for her*
*getting more and more panicked each time she isn't there*

    *nods*
    Check the tags..

    ReplyDelete
  43. @Jai: Oh yeah. :P
Sorry - I knew I was talking to Sophia, my fingers jut typed the wrong name. This happens even more frequently when I'm speaking verbally . . .

I shouldn't be complaining baout how shit I feel.
    That's C's job. :P

ANYWAY. I'M TIRED OF BEING MISERABLE. I HAVE DECIDED TO BE CHEERFUL INSTEAD. HELLO!

    Bethany: I will.

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Chloe: :) Well, only you can know.

    Hi, Kas. :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Onwa: *closes her eyes, shaking*
*presses her back to the wall, sinking into a foetal position*
*silver slowly starts to seep over her skin, hardening quickly*

    Good.
    *smiles*
    Lets shop.

  57. STARARARARARARARARARARARARAR!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Cubase is the music editing software, right? I only use video editing apps, sorry :(

    ReplyDelete
  59. @Jai: . . . because we're ignorant peasants? :P

    ReplyDelete
  60. Ah, see, I don't use music editing software OR video editing software. :P

  63. Heya.

I'm not a peasant. *points at everyone and laughs*

    You'll never be royals!

  64. I was rejected by McDonald's.

Wonderful life I'm gonna have. Just wonderful.

    ReplyDelete
  65. @Kas: McDonald's will have a lot of applications, dw. Keep trying; as you keep trying, you'll improve that applications, too. :) :)

  66. ("Why'd you name your company after your d*ck?"

    His companies Microsoft.
    I get that line now.
    S'funny :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. :/

    I-

I don't know. I feel weird. It's like... there was something... something that made me think just how similar I am to Hope, but it's gone. Maybe. Or maybe it's there, just out of grasp. *sighs* I need to think about something else.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Um . . .
    Formal letter layouts.
Is you their address in the top right, then yours in the top left, then the date in the top right?

    ReplyDelete
  69. No, wait. Yours top right, then date underneath yours, then theirs in top left?
    *just googled it*

    ReplyDelete
  70. After I fail GCSE art, I am going to fail GCSE English. -_-

    ReplyDelete
  71. Wait . . . I don't have to include Yorkshire in my adadress, do I? Just street number, street name, villageandnearesttown (you have to do this shit when you live in a village), post code?

    ReplyDelete
  72. (It seems I disappeared briefly.)

    Lorelei: ... What happened?

    Bethany: *she nods, smiling*

    ReplyDelete
  73. I swear my village is as big as my nearest town, anyway, but meh.
The village my school is in is smaller than my village and it uses my nearest town instead of the whopping big town just up the hill from it.
    Eh. Addresses. They're weird.

    ReplyDelete
  74. (*friends finally sends questions*
    ...
    *cries*)

    Onwa: *doesn't look up*
    If she doesn't come back..
*looks up, eyes completely silver, liquid silver streaming down her cheeks*
Then either this realm is yours, or this realm will burn.

    *starts browsing, humming*

    ReplyDelete
  75. Hi, Skulduggery. :)

@Jai: I'm about to go swimming soon but seriously, if you need help, I'm here . . . or will be.

    ReplyDelete
  76. *hugs Gemma and Jaimie*

    I'm worried... *sighs* :/

    What's wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  77. *sits in the corner next to chione* hey what's up ?

    ReplyDelete
  78. (That is very good, Jaimie. *hugs her tightly*)

Lorelei: I understand, my queen... I wonder what happened... You were in my dream... Then I woke up... Oh, right... I woke up...

Bethany: I'm sorry for being so sensitive...

    ReplyDelete
  79. (*sighs, already bored of righting and drawing the questions*)

    Onwa: *grits her teeth, shaking*
She's.. I don't know where she is. You woke up, and now I don't know where she is.
*the shadows around her are starting to get agitated*

    Its fine.
*smiles, taking a white, tight shirt, holding it up to Beth and checking the label*

    ReplyDelete
  80. (Fairly certain my friend has sent me the questions wrong..)

    ReplyDelete
  81. Hey, Zaffy! *huggles*

    How are you feeling?

    ReplyDelete
  82. (I am back.)

    Lorelei: I'm sorry...

    Bethany: That's nice. *she smiles*

    ReplyDelete
  83. I keep having to correct my RS teacher.
She seems to think that depressants are linked to depression, describes a drug as 'a legal or illegal substance that alters the mind or body' (guess what, food alters the body, and so does being stabbed), and said that an argument against the death penalty was the expense of prison (on the contrary, it's more expensive to kill people).
Idk, I don't WANT to challenge her but I want to correct errors. :P
Oh, and I don't do RS anymore, btw. This is from lunchtime revisions sessions . . . see, look, I go to RS revisoon at lunch, aren't I cool.
    Well, I go with C.

Revision sessions are ridiculous in year eleven. Because I go to RS on Tuesday lunch, I can't go to history. On Monday night, my English teacher is pretty much forcing me to go to English, because y'know, I just loooooooove spending my time after school doing an hour-long English lesson whenI've already had two hours of ENglish earlier in the day - but that means I can't go to French. Oh, and quite a few people have further maths on Monday night, too, so they can't go to English or French. On yeah, and I have science revision sessions on offer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays . . . except, I do RS revision on Tuesdays now, and I have further maths on Wednesday.
Nothing on Thursday or Friday, funnily enough.
I do understand that teachers can't be everywhere at all times, but like, neither can we. -_-

    ReplyDelete
  84. And, and don't forget the maths revision sessions after school on Monday. -_-

    ReplyDelete
  85. Ooh, plus C needs to go extra music work after school and the only time her teacher's in is after school on Monday.
    :P

    ReplyDelete
  86. Even though C has further maths and her teacher told her to go to English adn her other teacher told her to go to French.
    Lalala . . .

    ReplyDelete
  87. Hmm... is it fanfiction if it's for something that hasn't been released?

    ?

    ReplyDelete
  88. @Kas: Yes.

Lav did fanfiction on a story of mine once. It was still fanfiction because it was using a story that wasn't her own.

    ReplyDelete
  89. We get required to take chemistry....*can't do chemistry for her life*

    -Zaf

    ReplyDelete
  90. Subject-wise, then at GCSE level, we have to do maths (three lessons a week), English (four lessons a week), science (biology, chemistry and physics) (five lessons a week), RS (except apparently not in year eleven. Oh, but even though you don't take the subject any more, you're expected to do an exam on it anyway. Super) (one lesson a week), PE (one lesson a week) and IT (two lessons a week).
We can then pick four otehr subjects.
At AS level, next year, you can basically pick up to five (most people pick three or four) subjects of your choosing, and nothing is compulsory except General Studies (which you can apparently pass just by watching the news).

    ReplyDelete
  91. *also can't do chemistry*

    ...and I'm glad I don't have to.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Oh my gosh.
I googled soemthing for RS homework and I'm now reading a few stories about heroin addiction.
    O_O

    ReplyDelete
  93. Suffice to say, I never want to do heroin.

I don't mind chemistry. I get to sit next to C.
    :P
I have pretty much no friends, so the lessons when I don't sit next to C, I generally sit on my own adn don't speak to anyone all lesson. So sitting next to C really improves my lessons.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Oh, yeah, and I'm not going swimming, btw. Got cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Be glad! It sucks. I have to pass it this year so I can bloody go on to do all my electives

Next year if I pass all my classes I need English and PE so my classes would be

    AP/Honors English 12
    Pe-12
    11/12 Chorus
    Spanish V
    Baking
    Independant Living
    Modern US History
    Theatre
    Career Aprentice (teacher aide thing)

    -Zaf

    ReplyDelete
  96. (And after TWO DAMN BUS TRIPS I have my homework sheet.)

    Onwa: *nods*
*lowers her head again, starting to he encased in silver*

    *nods*
    Andddd
    *checks the label*
    You can wear it.

    ReplyDelete
  97. *Leans against Skulduggery*
Nothing, The corner is just warm, that's all...

    ReplyDelete
  98. CX? Is that the angle C or the C that's halfway between the line?

    ReplyDelete
  99. Sine rule. That's (a divided by sinA) equals (b divided by sine B) equals (c divivded by sine C) - or (sine A over a) equals (sine B over b), etc.
    So basically, you would 15 over sine90 (A) = c over sine70
So c = (sine minus one) open bracket sine90 times 15 close bracket.

    ReplyDelete
  100. (*shakes head* one sec..I'll draw them separate for you..)

    ReplyDelete
  101. (That doesn't help ;-;

    OMFG IT JUST GETS HARDER!
    NOPE.
    NOPE NOPE.
    NOPE NOPE N-NOPE NOPE.
    NOT HAPPENING.
    NUH HUH.
    I'M QUITING MATHS!)

    ReplyDelete
  102. (I am back.)

Lorelei: No... Don't... If you do that, you can't find her...

Bethany: *she smiles* Can I try it on? Oh... And you might want to find some trousers or a skirt as well... Because I'll have to take my dress off...

    ReplyDelete
  103. Onwa: I cant find her ANYWAY
*the shadows lash out randomly at the shout, smashing a vase*
    *doesn't seem to notice*
*closes eyes, trying to trace Liliana's energy, the silver continuing to encase her slowly*

Not yet. Wait till we've found more clothes. Then you can go to the changing rooms and try them.

    ReplyDelete
  104. *the faintest shimmer of Liliana's energy can be sensed from within Lorelei's head*

Lorelei: Please... calm down... It will be alright.

Bethany: *she nods* Okay. *she eyes the half a mannequin suspiciously as she starts to look at skirts*

    ReplyDelete
  105. Onwa: Forgive me for this.
*blurs forwards, the silver becoming liquid instantly*
*smashes a fist into Lorelei's nose, knocking her out, catching her before she falls*
*forces her way into Lorelei's head*

    *hums, looking at the jeans*

    ReplyDelete
  106. *lays a hand on Zafira's shoulder*

    Zafira: What?!

Calm. I simply wish to speak to you.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hello, Silente. I have a little Elder beside me now.

    Zafira: Shut up!

    ReplyDelete
  108. (Ah. Guess that means I can't just destroy your sanctuary over and over again now then.)

    ReplyDelete
  109. Lorelei: *she cries out, before falling unconscious*

*a world falls around Onwa - a forest, but Onwa feels a pain in her nose like where she punched Lorelei*

Liliana: *she is sat in the forest, alone, sighing, holding her nose*

Claire: Those'll have all sorts of chemicals in, won't they?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Onwa: *ignores the pain*
*teleports immediately to Liliana's side, holding her tightly, almost tight enough to break bones*
    *whispers*
I'm so sorry for leaving you..
*teleports them both out of Lorelei's head*
    *still holding her tight*

    Probably..
    *sighs*
    Shame.. I love jeans..

    ReplyDelete
  111. (*nods*
I know. Zafira made a boo boo, didn't use democracy, didn't take precautions and now has you by, but not necessarily on, her side.)

    ReplyDelete
  112. (Year sevens are 11/12 years old. A gender neutral/male name is Charlie.)

    ReplyDelete
  113. *showers Sil in glitter* Thank you so much.

Charlie is not a name I can use, however, as there is a lad called Charlie in the group this writing is likely to be read to.
But Nik already came up with Sam, so ^_^
    Thank you anyway. <3

    ReplyDelete
  114. Liliana: *she hugs her back, smiling* It is fine. Although staying in a dream when the person having it has woken up, is not a good idea. Just for the record.

Claire: You could try the more expensive ones? I think the more expensive something is, the less likely it is they'll have polyester in?

    ReplyDelete
  115. Zafira: I'm stuck with a god, yes, but he is useful.

*smirks* I have magic, just not the type mages are familiar with.

    ReplyDelete
  116. (You're welcome for helping/sorry you couldn't use the name?)

    Onwa: *nods*
*kisses her gently, silver dried down her cheeks from the tears*

    Probably. That's works.
    *nods*

    ReplyDelete
  117. (Mmmhmmm. And how likely is he to turn around and use you Zaffy girl?)

    ReplyDelete
  118. Sil, you are fab. *huggles*

Hello everyone. How are you all?

Wbd - writing a new story I've been working on:3

    ReplyDelete
  119. (*huggles back* am not..that's Fabi.
I'm not so bad. Hating on maths. You?)

    ReplyDelete

Totes great for the Aussie, Derek. But I'll take one for the team.

  129. Pretty much, Rose. I'm kinda hoping for an American tour...I think I would end up fainting if I ever see a post with one announced.

  130. (American tour would be pretty rad. I can't wait until I can go down the Melbourne on my own and see him. My parents actually loathe Derek... They just think he's a massive tool and mum waited in line too long...

    *sighs*

    *hugs Zaf*)

  132. Onwa: *kisses her passionately, almost desperately, back*
