Unforeseen Circumstances

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the announcement of the title of my new series will take place on WEDNESDAY instead of tomorrow.

I could go into the whys and the hows and explain it all to you, making perfect sense and being entirely reasonable...

Or I could just grin and enjoy the fact that you are now cursing my name.

I think I'll do the latter.

  4. Damn, that took us a while to notice . . .

  5. I need to do further maths
but I can't be bothered to find my further maths book . . .
    meh.
And I have emails to reply to, but like, I'm too lazy to flick onto the other tab and, like, open the emails.
    :P

  6. (I happened to stumble across it whilst returning.)

    Lorelei: I thought so...

Liliana: You did not want to disturb us, even if it would cost you your life?

    Lorelei: *she shrugs*

    Bethany: Have you seen anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  7. It's okay
    I did hammock-manouervering
    I can't spell manouvering.

    ReplyDelete
  8. @Sophia: Yeah . . .
I just leave the tab open on my phone (it doesn't close my tabs when I close the app), and on my laptop I just click 'restore previous session' whenever I open the internet, so I never have to open the blog from scratch . . .

  9. Onwa: You have more manners than sense.

No.. that's why I've been distracted. I've been looking out for someone, anyone..

  10. Oh
    hey
    hey look

I'VE BEEN SAYING HI TO PEOPLE TODAY!!!

    *makes proud hand gesture*

    ReplyDelete
  11. (I have to start it from scratch whether I use a phone or a laptop.)

    Lorelei: Probably...

Bethany: *she places her hand on Silente's shoulder, and Silente's vision shines gold, with blue lines spanning from her to the people around the shop - people whom, to Silente, are actually glowing white, unless they have any negative intentions towards them, in which case they glow red* Try now? See anything?

  12. I did some geometry today in maths - well, 3D trig stuff, kinda.
It was the most fun I have had in ages. It was brilliant. :P
And then I said to C "That was the most fun I've had all week" and she was like "You're weird" and I was like "Yeah, I know" and told her about the conevrsation me and Taia dn Jai had yesterday about how me adn Taia liked maths and C was just like "You're weird."
    :P
C likes maths, too, though . . . sometimes. She was in a bad mood today, though, and just kept snapping about how she just wanted to die and how she had no purpose in life . . .

    ReplyDelete
  13. @Sophia: Ouch. No 'restore previous session' option?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Onwa: Definitely.

    Holy.. this, is weird.
    *blinks, looking around*

  15. *blinks*

  16. Lorelei: Sorry...

    Liliana: It is fine.

Bethany: Do you see any red?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Onwa: Liliana, May I speak with you in a more.. secure place?

    Um..
    *looks around, squinting*
    Not.. really?

    ReplyDelete
  18. YAY THIS IS THE CLOSEST IVE BEEN IN THE COMMENTS SECTION! ;D

    ReplyDelete
  19. Liliana: Of course. *she places her hand on Onwa's shoulder* Just teleport.

Teenage girl: *she smirks at Bethany, her form flashing red in Silente's view* Hey, nice dress.

    Bethany: Thank you.

Teenage girl: Looks like something a princess would wear.

Bethany: *she smiles, looking down at herself* Not many people compliment it. Thank you.

    Teenage girl: Compliment?

Bethany: You said it was nice?

Teenage girl: Sarcasm, you fucking idiot.

Bethany: I... That wouldn't be suitable in public. I'd never do that...

Claire: *she rolls her eyes, walking forwards* Hey, bitch. Get away from my parents before I break your leg and make you chew on the bone.

Okay. Don't touch anything. Most of its either spiky or electrified.

    *shifts in front of Beth*
    Red.
She will make you do that you know. And I'll quite happily help her.
*looks the girl up and down*
    *smirks*
You really shouldn't belittle people just because daddies credit card can't afford for you to have clothes this nice.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Liliana: I see. I approve of your interior decorating. Why are we here?

Teenage girl: Why would I want a dress like that? I'd look like a fairy princess.

    Bethany: I'm not a fairy...

    ReplyDelete
  27. (i feel like it was one piece of white paper c'mon at least colour the paper)

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Jai: I hate it when that happens . . . forgetting what you'regoing to say, I mean.
Yeah. Maybe I am insane. But. That's cool. :P
Maybe I should take further maths next year, but idk, science. :P

    Hi/bye, J. :)

I am getting better and better at this hammock-manouevring mallarky. :)
    . . . or is it manoeuvring?
    Yeah. Manoeuvring. :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. (lol ko ) * puts a cone hat on Adam even if he doesn't want one *

    ReplyDelete
  30. It was confetti. It was colourful unless it wasn'tmeant to be, and if it wasn't meant to be, then colouring it would have ruined it and made it less suitable for its purpose.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Onwa: My mind. After my trip into yours I've been..practicing.
    *shrugs*

Yeah. You have a point. You're more of a witch than a fairy princess. Now get the Hell away from us bitch. Go crawl back under your bridge.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Liliana: How very interesting. So why have you brought me here?

Teenage girl: *she waves her hand dismissively* Whatever. You're not even worth my time. *she walks off*

    ReplyDelete
  33. You can't do that!!!!!
    It's not fair....
    Awwww -.-

    ReplyDelete
  34. Onwa: Perhaps we should monitor Lorelei's brain? I could easily bring us both into her dream, if the parasite is there we could perhaps do something to aid her?

    *rolls eyes*
    Idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  35. *tackles Adam* HAPPY BIRTHDAY! *pulls a party popper in his face*

    ReplyDelete
  36. Liliana: That may be a good idea, yes.

Bethany: I think so, yes... Is there anyone else who is red?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Onwa: *nods*
    *smiles, looking around*
My head is very spikey.. and menacing and dark..

No. Not that I can see...

    ReplyDelete
  38. Liliana: *she runs her hands over one of the spikes, feeling it impale her hand a little* I like it.

Bethany: Look around... Are you sure?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Onwa: *shivers slightly, gasping a little*
    *closes her eyes*
    Mmm.. n-nice..
    *the darkness swells slightly*

    *looks around*

    ReplyDelete
  40. Onwa: *smiles*
I don't know... but it was very nice... and slightly painful...

    No?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Liliana: *she runs her hand over the spike again*

Bethany: Then I think we're okay... Just keep looking. We should exit the shop.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS. DEREK. YOU. ARE. SO. ANNOYING!!!!!!!! I CAN NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET TOMORROW BUT I CAN TODAY!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! But on the bright side, i will have something to look forward to when i get back :) This book is going to be amazing! :P

  43. Onwa: *moans loudly, shivering, staggering a little*
    *pants slightly, eyes closed*

    *nods*
But Claire hasn't gotten any games..?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Liliana: This is very, very fun. *she nudges the spike gently with her elbow*

Claire: I'm fine without. I can get it another time.

Bethany: We can get some clothes and then leave...

    ReplyDelete
  45. Onwa: *moans louder, legs giving out beneath her*
*whimpers, Sat on the floor, panting, rubbing her thighs together and moaning*

    Okay. Clothes then car?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Liliana: I really would hate to give you brain damage, so I think I will stop.

    Bethany: *she nods*

    ReplyDelete
  47. Onwa: *whimpers and struggles to a standing position*
    *smiles*
    Thank you..

    Okay.
    *walks out with them*

    ReplyDelete
  48. *Hugs Adam tightly*
Aren't you having Davie and that over to yours or Is that Saturday?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Liliana: You are welcome. *she smiles*

Bethany: So Debenhams... *she looks around*

Claire: *she starts walking forwards* This way.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Onwa: *takes her arm, teleporting away, back to Lorelei's room*
    *leans against Liliana*

    *follows Claire, tugging Beth along*

    ReplyDelete
  51. Btw, Derek said that Harper won't let him release the title today. Shame he didn't do the fake titles like last last last time.

    ReplyDelete
  52. How clichéd is it to use the phrase "But it's not possible"? Acceptably clichéd or unforgivably so?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Liliana: *she kisses Onwa's cheek*

    Lorelei: Is everything fine?

    Bethany: *she follows*

    Claire: *she walks into Debenhams*

    ReplyDelete
  54. Onwa: *smiles*
    Mm.. we're fine.

    *kisses her neck gently*

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh...I saw on Twitter and cursed you.

    ReplyDelete
  57. For me, tomorrow IS Wednesday.
But I'm guessing that means Thursday for us Aussies, so... DAMN YOU DEREK!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Lorelei: Good...

Bethany: *she smiles* Are you sure that the only problem was you felt like someone was watching you?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Cool...
Sounds like you had a fun day...

    ReplyDelete
  60. I've got a question for you.

If you were a parent and your son wanted to be a princess for Halloween, what would you say to him?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Onwa: Anyway, it is late. Perhaps you should sleep, Lorelei?

    *kisses her, smiling*
    I'm sure.

    ReplyDelete
  62. (@Moss uhhh..
    I..
    Don't know why I'd have a kid,
But I'd buy him an Elsa dress.)

    ReplyDelete
  63. Thank you Silente, Adam.

    [Writes something in a notebook]

    ReplyDelete
  64. (Ohh and I'd do his make up! And maybe shave his legs cause hairy bare legs.. I have a thing against hairy bare legs..)

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'd let him be a princess, if that's what he wants to be. Girls can dress up as whoever they like, so boys should be able to do the same.

    ReplyDelete
  66. (And maybe buy him a wig. Or hair extensions. Or hair spray that changes hair colour. A short haired Elsa would be quite cool..)

    ReplyDelete
  67. (Then again the lad might have long hair so extensions or a wig might not apply.)

    ReplyDelete
  68. Ouch.
    Tricky.
Depends how old my son was, and who my son was, and for what he was dressing up as.
I mean, I am all for boys being allowed to be princesses, but I am aware that my son could hsve a lot of hurtful remarks made to him for it.
So if he was, like, a toddler or a bit older then I'd say yes. If he was a teenager, I'd say yes because teenagers are more independent and are less reliant on me for decisions on the way they live their life.
If he had good supportive friends and would be hanging out with them, I'd say yes but might warn him about ignorant people and their hurtful commemts. If we were just dresing ip in our family, I would of course say yes. If he was a more confident person, I'd say yes, and if he was doing it for a laugh I'd say yes because then it would just be funny and people would probably laugh with him as opposed to at him. If he was more wensitive and he was like seven or nine or eleven I would probably give him one of those seroous talks my mum occasionally has with me, and explain that it's really cool he wants to be a princess but that he might get some hurtful comments from it and thatI don't want him to be upset . . . and if he thinks he's fine with getting those comments then he can go ahead, but if it would be too upsetting and just ruin the experience then maybe he might want to go as something else and he can just dress uo as a princess at home one day maybe - and whatever he picks, I love him and will support him.
It also depends where we live - how much transphobic attitudes there are in the area and suchlike. Different areas have different attitudes, and if we live in a very conservation area I'd probably advise against it more than if we lived in a more diverse area.
I also guesd it depends on why he wants to be s princess, and if he often wants to dress more feminely or if this is a one-off. If he's dressed as princesses and stuff before and it's been fine, obviously it's fine. If dressing more femininely means something to him, I'd probably be thinking about it more seroously, but if he never really does and just thought being a princess would be cool (but he's fone being other things too), I might advise against it more as obviously it won't matter as much to him if he isn't a princess.

    Good question. :) :)

It's horrible because I'd lobe my son to be able to dress gowever he choses, but I don't want him to be hurt . . .

    ReplyDelete
  69. Boys should be qble to do the same. Sadly, they're not always.

    ReplyDelete
  70. (Unless he was doing it to take the piss..
I mean, if he actually wanted to then sure.
If he just wants to take the piss then no.. I'd be rather disappointed in that case, I thought I'd brought said metaphorical son up to know better than that.)

    ReplyDelete
  71. (I would at least ask them to reconsider their costume idea. Not because I am against the concept, just to save them from the probable ridicule from the other children.)

Lorelei: Yes, my queen. *she curls up on the bed*

Bethany: *kisses her back* Do you promise?

    ReplyDelete
  72. I love how much you're thinking about it. That's a good thing. [nods]

    ReplyDelete
  73. I thought you'd say something like that, Sophia. [nods]

    [writes in notebook]

    ReplyDelete
  74. (*nods at all star's points* that's a good point, I wouldn't want him upset..)

    Onwa: *makes a large chair*
*slips into it, pulling Liliana onto her knee, curling around her*

    Swear on my life.

    ReplyDelete
  75. :)
    Thanks, Lantern.

@Jai: What do you mean by 'taking the piss' . . . ? Because I don't see anything wrong with dressing feminine to have a laugh. :/

    *nods at Sophia*
But I'd explain that it isn't wrong to dress up as a orincesd just because society says it is, and mqybe talk about changing fashions and acceptance to show how stupid it all is.

    ReplyDelete
  76. @Jai: I know. :/
And me telling him maybe it's a bad idea would probably put him off crossing the binary less than people ridiculing him.

    ReplyDelete
  77. (@Star well..
I wouldn't really want him doing it because he knows someone who DOES want to be a princess and finds it funny to take the mickey out of them, you know? To belittle somebody..
If he was doing it to show support then sure, go ahead.
If he seriously wants to be want then yeah! I'll find the hair curlers or whatever.
If he's doing it to upset someone thats a no.
If he thinks it'll be funny then..I'd have to talk to him about it?)

    ReplyDelete
  78. I'm feeling rather fond of this hypothetical son of mine now . . . :P

@Jai: Of course - if he wanted to take the mickey out of someone, I wouldn't condone that. But I know boys who just occasionally (on special occasions) (well, I don't specifically know people, but I've come across such people) dress a bit feminine because they find it fun and everyone else laughs along with them. That isn't hurting anyone, so I see it as fine. :)
(Although I am occasionally like "What's funny about them wearing a dress? They can wear a dress if they want to")

    ReplyDelete
  79. Just read your last sentence and yeah - I might talk to my son abput it so he knows that there's a serious side to cross-dressing . . . thank you. :)

    ReplyDelete
  80. I really want this hypothetical son to exist now. :P

    ReplyDelete
  81. (So am I xD I dont even WANT kids all that much and I'm getting attached to this hypothetical one of mine.

@Star yes but I wouldn't want him to do it for fun then end up regretting it when he's older if photos get around?)

    ReplyDelete
  82. (I am unsure how to feel about being so predictable, Fabi.

I would definitely ask my child to reconsider, and give the reasons for it. If they still wanted to wear the dress, I would allow them to do so. I do believe that society should be in acceptance of these things, but as a child, people their age will be immature and not understand why my child would be wearing the dress. Therefore I would probably recommend that they would wait until they were older.)

Liliana: *she nestles herself into Onwa's lap*

    Bethany: Swear on mine?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Onwa: *smiles, holding her close*
*murmurs 'when should we enter her dream?'*

I swear on your life, Beth.

    ReplyDelete
  84. @Jai: I know! I'm just like I SON'T REALLY WANT A SON BUT I WANT A SON HELP. :p

Oh, yeah . . . :/ But I don't think it would matter all too much, photos of him being a girl when he was a kid. Firstly, people don't judge kids too much once they're older (they just see it as funny or sweet, or go "I was a strange child :P", and I think adults are more okay with this stuff than kids. Obviously, depends on the area you live in.

    ReplyDelete
  85. @Sophia: About the kidsbeingmoreimmature thing - exactly. Kids tend to just react "ew, that's different, so it must be wrong and weird." *shrugs* I know I would have probably reacted negatively to a boy wearing a princess dress when I was younger.

    ReplyDelete
  86. (XD "I don't really want a son but I want a son"
How to know you're over analysing; when you become attached to a metaphorical child.

I know but school people are less understanding..?)

    ReplyDelete
  87. @Jai: XD
I think it would depend on how you reacred . . . I can picture my hypothetical son going all quiet and embarrassed and as such getting mocked, but I can also picture him going "Lol yeah" and people just laughing about it with him.
Obviously, if he felt more strongly about the princess dress, "lol yeah" would be harder and the laughter would cut, but at that point it might be a deeper, more underlying thing as opposed to an isolated incident, and as such it wouldn't come up as qn isolated incident.

    ReplyDelete
  88. (Indeed, Star. I believe it would be more beneficial for the child to do it as a teenager or adult. Those around them will be more mature, and if they do want to continue to wear clothes designed primarily for the other gender, they will understand enough about sexuality and other preferences to make the decision about whether to continue it.)

    Liliana: Soon.

Bethany: Good. *she smiles, taking a look around the shop* Wow... this is amazing...

    (I will be back soon.)

    ReplyDelete
  89. (*nods*

...I'm gonna stop analysing this now xD I'm going to get emotionally attached to a metaphorical son I dont particularly want..)

    ReplyDelete
  90. Plus, we're all analysing how much our hypothetical sons might be hurt by an idolqted princess dress incident.
Imagine if we had a hypothetical transdaughter instead. Her life would pretty much be an entire princess dress incident. :/

    ReplyDelete
  91. Onwa: *nods*

    *laughs*
    Clothes.

(Obviously I mean that in a 'don't want kids" way not a "don't want this particular child" way..)

    ReplyDelete
  92. @Sophia: Yes, I guess.
I want to say "but if they get put off when they're younger," but ridicule would put them off more . . .
    eh. Stupid world.

    @Jai: XD

    ReplyDelete
  93. (I have nothing against this hypothetical child!
I have nothing against any children!
I just don't particularly WANT a thing to take care of cause I'd end up killing it! By accident I might add!
I make up for not wanting a child by wanting OTHERS to have children!
    It's all good!)

    ReplyDelete
  94. I know someone on AVEN and they're biologically male (and currently present as male) and they wore nail varnish to work once and their colleagues were fine with it . . . and I know that the other week in the boys' changing rooms at school, a kid tried to paint his nails black and he was immediately hit by a wallof harrassmemt . . . Idk if he actually got beat up or if it wada ton of verbal abuse, but . . .
    eh.

    ReplyDelete
  95. @Jai: XD You wouldn't end up killing it. :P

    ReplyDelete
  96. Andddddd it's twenty past ten so severe msd.

    ReplyDelete
  97. (I would! Well.. I might not but.. eh..

When I'm in the mood I'm great at looking after kids! Hell, at laser zone once I ended up babysitting two random ten year olds or something!
But when I cant be bothered it'd be like..
    Nope. Just nope.)

  98. Secondary school seems like a long time ago. I forget some people weren't always as open minded as most of the people I know now.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Damn u Landy! Why Derek?! Why????!??'bbb

    ReplyDelete
  100. U know... I have a theory about our dear friend Mr Landy. It seems that he likes to annoy and anger us at any chance he gets. Which just annoys me.

    ReplyDelete
  101. (I am back.

I do think there is an age where children can begin making informed decisions about their sexuality and preferences. I would estimate this to be about sixteen onwards. People need experience - with their own feelings, and somewhat more physical experiences. Because then they would have the evidence that their emotions were not down to something like a phase, or were completely misinformed. I only recently managed to decide on my sexuality, but I had the experience and evidence to realise that it was who I am.)

Liliana: I do wonder what that spike was.

    Bethany: They're nice clothes...

    ReplyDelete
  102. Onwa: *smiles quietly*
    It was nice.. if tiring.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Zafira: Oh hell no. *shadow-walks in front of him, grabbing him and pinning him to a tree* You do not want shadows from me, buddy. *knees him in the no no spot* Loki!!!

*appears beside Zafira, going through Charles pockets* I can do this the fun way, or the hard way. Either way, I have a way to beat you, so I would suggest undoing it, now. I'm an Elder now, and I can make your life hell.

Zafira: *shadow-walks the three of them to the American Sanctuary, then handcuffing Charles* Now, we do this my way. You be good and cooperate, and we find you a nice Gaol.

*The silence is broken by a very subtle alarm--the undead alarm.*

*Either Skulduggery is here, or there's some sort of zombie-like being.*

*To be quite honest with you, China does not want to deal with either possibility.*

*She sighs and stands, working her way back to the main room of the library.*

  149. Noelle, please. I don't know what I can say to stop you from suicide, but I'm here for you. Don't do it, please.
    *hugs tightly*

  150. Noelle, I'm sorry. I don't know how to help people with depression, so I don't think there's anything I could say that would help you, and I'm sorry.
    *keeps hugging her*
    I'm sorry.

  151. Noelle, if you're talking about suicide, remember that you're telling people and so somewhat in your subconscious you want to live, you're hoping we'll stop you.
Also, nothing can ever get better if you die, by living you have opportunities for things to get better.
People care abouts you Noelle, and I, and many other people, would miss you terribly if you died.

If you weren't talking about suicide, I'm really, really sorry.
If you're just leaving the blogosphere, I completely understand and I hope things get better for you.

    You're wonderful, Noelle.

  153. (I do not believe Adrasdos will be killing herself. She said that she would not tell anyone online if she chose to do so. Perhaps it is saying that she will be leaving here, but given that she has emotional attachments to this place/feels like she has to be here, part of me does not think that will work out either.
I wonder why she did not specify what she was going to do, however, as this may cause intentional or unintentional (I am no mind reader) worry amongst the people here.)
