For the record, I rarely say hi to people. I say hi to Trip because he doesn't come often enough that I've usually been missing him when he appears (note the same effect with Taia), so he probably hasn't observed this, but I'm sure most other people have.
(I only speak to people who I like, at least most of the time. I was not aware of a social obligation to talk to everyone. You would not walk down a street and greet every stranger you came across, surely? And regardless, ridiculously unnecessary spiteful comments is not a good way of getting me to talk to you.)
(I talk to pretty much every random stranger I see...I always say hello or at the very least nod or smile.. Although I mainly do that to try and not come off as a youth..)

In some parts of the world, particularly the countryside, it's expected that you will say hi to everyone you pass, and it's rude not to. In other places, particularly the city, everyone walks by in their own worlds and if a random stranger said hi to you it would just be weird. It's just a culture clash.
I think it's cozin the country, you know people more, and besides, ig thete's only two people in the street then you focus more attention on the other person . . . whereas if the street is full of people, the individuals merge into the background.
TWO WEEKS! You can't announce something two week away! Then for that whole two weeks, the title will be the only thing I'll be thinking about! TWO WEEKS!

This is what happens to my siblings. One of them ends up wronging the other, so they keep on wrongimg each other "because (s)he did so-and-so to me first," and then the more they wring each other, the more they have to get revenge for . . . it's a vicious circle. I used to try and preach forgiveness to them. Now I just laugh/get irritated.
