ReplyDeleteThere'll be a dozen or so entries that made it to state, two from my region and I'm not sure how many from the other seven regions. It's not 'every region gets two' it's based on percentage of total entries or something. At nationals, though, it is 'every state gets two and one back-up for if one of the two decides not to compete or can't go or something' so out of 12-20 who made it to state, they'll be 6-8 state finalists and 2 who advance to nationals. So I don't really have a good chance. [shrugs cheerfully] My project was good enough to go to state, yes, but so were the at least eleven others who'll be there.

Skulduggery is Clover's and Harry is Mara's (as I told a Directioner in my form insitnantly today in art). Some things are for definite.
ReplyDeleteSkulduggery Pleasant drives a 1954 Bentley R-Type Continental, one of only 208 ever made, which is retro fitted with modern luxuries perfect for the owner of the car. It's the apple of Skulduggery's eye, or at least it would be if he had eyes.
ReplyDeleteThe car also houses a six cylinder, 4.5 litre engine.
The modern luxuries mentioned formerly include:
-Climate control
-Central locking
-Satellite navigation system
And a host of other modern luxuries:)
Oh, and, one more dent will cause it to fall apart.
He lends it to Ghastly Bespoke once in Mortal Coil, and reminds him that he doesn't want to see a single scratch!:3
