I WAS READING MORTAL COIL WHILST I WAS AWAY. THEN LAST NIGHT I HAD A NIGHTMARE ABOUT REMNANTS. *laughs*
Well, it wasn't funny hen I was having it . . . I was in a school. My school, but different, as things are altered in dreams. I couldn't let my guard down for a minute, and I had to constantly have my sword out. I couldn't trust anyone, because even if they were nice, they could still be a Remnant. I could only stop being wary when they showed black veins or attacked me, at which point it was kind of a relief coz I knew what they were and so wasn't worrying anymore. Oh, but then I had to try and kill them. Somehow, I ended up with two spare thumbs, and I told the Art teachr (who I haven't met irl) that he migh have to sew one on for me, but then my crrent thumb was okay so I suggested he keep my spare thumbs in case anyone else needed them. Uh yes. He was nice, the Art teacher. But then I went out the room to kill Remnant people and stuffs and when I next saw him I didn't let go of my sword and kept my distance from him looking all wary in case he'd gotten taken over and he just sort of looked at me all hurt like and felt kinda bad but he could be a Remnant and I wasn't taking the chance. And his girlfriend was this other teacher who looked like Snow White from Once Upon A Time. *nods*
And even though Remnants were attackin and we were killing them and they were killing us, there were still kids doing clubs and lessons with the teachers in all the classrooms acting like everything was normal. (?)
And there was this Remnantifyed teacher who looked like my Year 8 Science teacher, and she stood in front of me waiting for her to kill me and I spent about three tries trying to stab her heart whilst shestood there critisng my fencing and thn I gave up and started stabbing her throat instead, and I stabbed it right the way through only she wasn't dead so I had to saw around all the inside and the skin of her neck, and I was jus yuckkkkkkk. Then her head rolled off onto the ground, and her body slumped against the wall dead but her head was still speaking to me so I had to jump on it until I'd destroyed her brain. In this last scene I could see similarities to my irl fencing lessons and to when Nye was looking for Valkyrie's soul. I can't really explain these siilarities, so argh . . .
And my English teacher was there and she talked to me and my sister about English lessons and GCSE English whilst my brother just hovered there looking bored. And my brother was wearing his pyjamas. Uh yes.
And ALSO ALSO ALSO whilst I was away my brother and sister found a new hobby - tying me up! It wasn't really them attacking me - it was more a quest to find the most effectove way of tying peope up in case we ever needed to. We tied my sister up a bit too . . . They used my dressing gown cord to tie my hands together behind my back, then they used my sister's dressing gown cord to tie my ankles together, plus often I got tied to the chair with this elastic belt thing. Then I had to try and escape. I gave them tips to try and improve their tying-up, and all. Despite the uncomfortability factor, it was kind of fun. We've got real good at tying people up now too. We started finding it impossible to escape. :)
BUT HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. :)
I've missed here. When I was falling asleep I imagined I'd managed to pos a few comments here before my phone battery died out (usually it would give me a few moments before reaching zero and dying, then the next time I tried a few moments again, but I never managed to post a comment before BYE BYE). But nooooooooooooooo. BAD phoney.

No, it's a simile because it compares to things saying they are similar to each other. It can't be a metaphor because that is when you say something IS something else. It compares something without saying something ISsomehting else and making it clear that they are different things, so it's a simile, I think.

It's only an hour, though. I'm so odd, because I like vehicle journeys. I like just sitting there in the car doing nothing, thinking about a load of rubbish. Or siting there in the car listening to music, but I like staring out the window and thinking about a load of rubbish more, I think. Have I ever mentioned I can't think properly when I'm sitting still? I haveto be doing something. Walking is the best thiniing ingredient, for me. I like walking. I like just pacing aroud the house in circles, or just walking from one place to another for the sake of it.
But being in the car isn't like sitting still on the sofa or summat. I can think in the car too. I think it's something to do with the fact I'm looking at movement out of the window. I mean, when you look at the road ahead and the path ahead, it's the same vision except differnet scenary, innit?
I'm looking forward to driving there and driving back because two hours sitting in the car. Uh, yes. Um. Yeah. I feel really normal right now.

Well at least you got your revenge. I was playing a football match for my school and the girl I was marking hated me. I mean all I did was accidentally tip her finger with my boot when she was trying to pick up the ball and she was doing hard tackles and threatening me for the rest of the game. I pretty much ignored her.

Yeah, I've read the Hunger Games. I really loved the series. It would've been one of my favorites, except that I really didn't like Mockingjay all that much... Anyway, the idea was genius, and she wrote the Games very well. Then again, so do you. ;)

I've sort of been here all along. I disappeared for half an hour because I got so passionate about my hammocks thing. I wrote this whole rant, then this other rant, then I adapted the second one into a conversation. :)
We spent quite a while at Survival Skills, because there were quite a few different skills to learn. Seeing as it was different bits of knowledge scattered in different areas, I thought I’d remember most of it. But some of it seemed mostly pointless. For example, hammocks mean you can sleep off the ground fairly comfortably at night, but you’d need trees and some form of cloth to make one, plus you were very visible to other people in a hammock (unless you had a tree-coloured hammock in a forest, or something like that, which wasn’t an impossibility but you’d be pretty lucky to have those circumstances), and also, assuming you managed to get in your hammock without falling all the way to the ground and potentially breaking something (stringing a hammock a few feet off the ground was stupid, because it still left you open to as many attacks by humans and other dangerous animal in the night, plus not only made you even more visible but also easy to access), you might fall off your hammock in the night. In my opinion, if you somehow managed to find hammock-making material, you should tie yourself to a tree with it whilst you slept because then not only were you far off the ground, you were much less likely to fall. I told this to Cambric and he said “Oh yeah.” I was too shy to point it out to the instructors.
“How on Earth is learning how to make hammocks useful, then?” Cambric wondered.
I shrugged, then thought a bit. “If you were the winner of the Hunger Games, I suppose you could use your hammock-making skills to have a TV show teaching people how to make hammocks or something stupid like that.”
Cambric nodded. “The Capitol people would love it, because they’re idiots.”
“I know, right?”
“How many episodes would it take to explain just how to make a hammock, though? Probably only three. It took us a lot less time to get it, but we aren’t stupid Capitol people.”
I was getting the impression Cambric either didn’t like the Capitol citizens or just like mocking them. “You could teach people how to construct a different form of hammock every episode.”
“How many can there be, though? Although you could make up a few. They wouldn’t have to work, would they? Nobody watching it would try them out and if they did, they would just think they’d done it wrong.”
“Yeah. That’s a good idea, actually. You could make up some totally ridiculous ones - it would probably make your show more popular. And you could decorate them as well. There must be tons of stupid ways to decorate hammocks. Different ones for every month, week, day of the year . . .”
“Outfit. Weather.”
“Yup. If I win, I’m going to do this TV show.”
“Why? It’s stupid.”
“Yeah, but maybe I’d have to do less tours and stuff if I did it.”
“True. Couldn’t you think of something more worthwhile, though?”
“I don’t think they’d appreciate worthwhile things.”
“True. If I win . . . I’ll start the TV show instead.”
“Cool.”
Cambric got the instructors to tell us a few different types of hammock after that, to give us a head start.
I've got an idea for it, but I haven't completed it yet. I still need to find a piece for it... When is the due date?
Star- Keep them! Not necessarily in whatever it is that you're writing, but you never know when you might need a good ramble about hammocks. :P
I once wrote 450 words about eggs, and how little appreciation they get. Not even what's inside the eggs, but actually the eggs themselves. Like, the shells. I still have that knocking around somewhere. It was utter rubbish, but I love stumbling across random writings like that. :P
generally everything...and anything...Im like that...right now its going to wash my hair but it can wait and soon it will change :D its not anything bad though...generally its putting something away or doing anything that involves a major amount of input :D
