Hypothetically, if a writer had to fill 16 pages in the back of a book with "extras"- like DVD extras but for, like, a book- then what should he fill those pages WITH?
An interview? A list of his influences? Deleted/discarded scenes? Something else?
Or maybe you'd just like 16 BLANK pages at the end of a book. You know, for your own doodling and such...

But 'Jems' was too heavily guarded to even attempt. She entered anyway.

Hmm... The trouble with my writing is, I have loads of different ideas, but none of them will fit together properly, I just end up with a one-chapter-long FanFiction, like the one currently on my blog...

Cool. I had like 9 short books done in a series, they were like 50,000 words, then my computer decided 'let's just wipe these out' so it did
Don’t delete anything that you write! Save it somewhere else and leave it alone. Or, if you do like it, write it down and save it. It’ll worm it’s way in somewhere if you really like it. :)

Yeah. I drew a new picture of her it's better but my cousin (he's five) saw she had no hair on one side of her face and volutes it with marker, so I had to colir it then. And I think it's ruined.

If an interview was included, I'd make sure to include honest advice for aspiring writers. I've read dozens of interviews with books' authors, and most of the time, their advice is unhelpful and really not 100% honest.
An extremely witty FAQ, with outrageously awesome answers. Cmon, you KNOW you want to do that....it'll be fun, I swear...
I would say add characters that never made the cut, or go indepth with infomation like:- details on the types of magic - how it progresses, creature profiles (Trolls, vampires), The heads of Sanctuary from all over the world, Character profiles, Details on items (scepter of anients, book of names, invisibility ball) character quotes.

I dreamed that I had this huge house with a giant swimming pool and it was always sunny and perfect, and Sparky was there, you know, being my friend, and then I went on Derek's blog. And on there, he had posted a picture of his house. But the photo moved, kind of like in Harry Potter. So anyway, as I was reading it, someone started knocking on the door. I went over to open it, and you know who was there?
Derek Landy.
And he came all the way from Ireland to visit me. The whole time, we basically talked about Skulduggery and what could happen next and what it was like to live in Ireland and have tons of fans, and Derek was talking about how he thought I was awesome, and he told me to watch out for Caelan and Fletcher, and IT SERIOUSLY WAS THE COOLEEST DREAM EVER!
