so I've had this really great idea for a thing, and I'm being vague about it bc I feel like if I put all the thoughts down then they will stop existing, but basically I love this thing and I need to write it SO DESPERATELY
and I want to write it as a script, because I can see it acted out and filmed perfectly in my head, but the thing is... I know nothing about script writing. nothing at all. and I know it'd be hard to do it the justice it deserves in script format
but
I need to write it as a script. I need to. I feel like writing it any other way would dampen it
and just
I could probably convey everything I wanted to perfectly if I wrote it as just a normal story, but
it wouldn't feel right

(fabi and I are still planning on continuing the roleplay we've started, but at the moment it's really hard to organise as there is about and 9 hour difference between us and we're also both dealing with school.)

One part of my course I have to do two pieces of coursework by Christmas (technically three but one doesn't count) -!; another side we have to do four 400 word essays, the first doesn't count, then a 1800 essay, as well as participate in studies to get 12 credits
And each study is either worth .5, 1 or 1.5 credits)

Kinda posted the first official part (rather than a prologue) of my uh story thing... it was me kinda experimenting with action scenes because I suck at them really so the first part is kinda setting up a little bit of the plot and also me experimenting with action scenes in the form of a training session ;)

I'm super busy atm with uni stuff and have like zero free time, & hard as I try I think I've already failed at least one exam (oops), but I'm good. Survived fresher's flu & now I feel super healthy again & one of the societies I joined has the most friendly members and they're so welcoming (like, joining blogland welcoming, it's insane) & I'm trying rlly hard to be sociable and lots of times now I can talk without wanting to die which is really cool and now the cold tea is drinkable too and :) :) :)
PLUS I learned how to take the train home and only had one near-death experience in the process, which is exciting. :)

I too am busy with uni, but then to be fair I was busy with uni back when I was super active on the blog too, it just wasn't as bad. I suppose people are growing up and moving on.

It's crazy to think how many years this blog has been around though. I will always miss the early days! Can't believe there hasn't even been a tour post or reflection on the Demon Road series, now that it's over. This used to be Derek's place to vent and rant and make funny jokes about how he hates blogs. /sigh
I'm at Uni too now well I call it college same concept. You know what? It': gonna be Derek's birthday and Skully's Death Day...Just realized. Damn. I'm impressed I remembered honestly
Anyhow. I had a sudden remeberance of Zavel the other day. I had to explain that entire thing to my suite mates and it was determined I'm crazy. Haha!

Blogland will always be what made me, and I miss a lot of friends from a lot of different times. Even though it's kinda quiet around here right now, and I don't visit very often (not that I was ever so reliable tbh), it's still grand to be able to say hey and catch up and see that a lot of people I care about are still kicking around here too. Y'know? You guys are the best. <3

I'd never be able to keep a straight face probably in front of others if I got to go to a signing. Then again I would want to keep my identity a secret until I was up front haha. I think the American accent would give me away though. That and I probably would be too excited...and end up being like yeah that's me I was the one to want to help take over the world.

Im just glad that I live in California... even if the gay marriage laws are repealed by Trump its not likely to affect me because well... California ;) we're liberal... we even voted to legalize marijuana (well not me personally but eh)

There are actually calls here for California to be independent, and honestly I kinda support it... here we're very liberal, very open-minded and to see Trump become President... he wont be ours, and he'll never be ours
But who knows... we might live in a society where, as a woman, if im raped I wont be able to have an abortion, and as a lesbian, I wont be able to get married
I cant express how I feel right now... im just empty, and full of dread... ill admit... im no patriot... the only reason why I prefer America over other countries in the world is because we have things like same-sex marriage and abortions which some countries dont...
And now, its gone. America is just a rock ruled by a moron, on behalf of morons... it isnt a symbol of hope, or an example of freedom which other countries should aspire towards... its just full of hate
Our next president is a sexist, racist, homophobic, xenophobic bigot, who boasts about sexually assaulting women, has been accused of the same... someone who has declared bankruptcy 4 times, someone who has pledged to make an abortion a punishable offence, and to repeal same-sex marriage laws...
So yup im not an American anymore... might live here... but im not an American... im a proud Californian, and im also proud of Minnesota (where I was born) for being awesome as always, but im not proud of my country... I feel nothing but despair and anxiety right now

I know ;) its nice to matter :) But the thing is... with the electoral college system states with a few people in get a better representation in elections than we do... a vote in Wyoming for example is worth around 3x as much in the electoral college system as a vote in California is... if it was a fair system where equal amounts of people got the same representation in the electoral college, we'd actually have 65 instead of 55
So basically we get ganged up on by small states which shouldnt have the power they do to influence elections haha
Ive always hated the electoral college system, id much prefer a true democracy where the majority of the people speak but eh it is what it is
Dissatisfaction is kinda high here though... as you can imagine...
Oh god Pence... I was actually talking about that with one of my other online friends
His point was "oh hey theres no reason to worry Trump said hed protect LGBTQ people" and he showed me a video of Trump saying that hed protect LGBTQ citizens from hateful foreign ideologies (probably after the Orlando shootings)
My response was:
a) he didnt mention hateful internal ideologies
b) he said that he would at least consider removing the same-sex marriage law
c) Pence... if Trump gets impeached (which might happen because of fraudulent practises or something along those lines), Pence will happen... and lets just take a look at his resume:
He opposed LGBTQ people being entitled to the protection of anti-discrimination laws
He wanted government funding to be taken away from LGBTQ organizations in favor of giving it to conversion therapy programs which change peoples sexuality (through things like electroshock therapies)
He opposed LGBTs being in the military
He opposed an act which would have banned workplace discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation
He opposes same-sex marriage and civil unions
Im fairly sure there is a reason to worry right now ;) before the election someone was saying "a vote for Trump is a vote for Pence"... which might end up being true really
My girlfriend refers to Pence as 'Mike "shock the gays away" Pence'... put it that way ;)

The difference is, I don't think Trump believes in most of the things that comes out of his mouth. He just caters to the white racism ingrained in my country to gain support (which is no less terrible)

Well here is the thing.
My mom is good friends with Pence's cousin, and has met him. When my mom met him, she said he was normal, that he wasn't insane like he appears now.
I don't know what to think, because no politician is ever going to be their true self anymore, it seems.
From what I've heard, and as much as I hate Trump, Pence sounds more dangerous.
