Hello children.
February already, is it? Dear lord, where does the time go?
Into the void, that's where. Into the void with all the PLANS we make and the PROMISES and the GOOD INTENTIONS and the LIES... Ahem.
I'm busy. I'm working away. On what? Different things. Some will see the light of day. Some will not. That's what happens. I've pretty much started the third and final Demon Road book, which is good, since my deadline is HILARIOUSLY close and I have an awful lot of work to do. But there are so many distractions! So many different projects to work on!
But I must focus. I must.
So, right now, my publishers are busy nailing down UK and Ireland tour dates for Desolation. First thing I have to tell you is that the release date has been changed, pushing it back a week to April 7th. Not that much of a big deal, and there are a load of external factors involved in the decision. It was explained to me but I zoned out. It's something to do with... something. Anyway, whatever, it's out on the 7th, although it will be available to buy a few days earlier at certain locations on my tour.
So, roughly, from April 3rd to the 7th, I'll be in Oxford, Manchester (don't know if it'll be available to buy early here, will check), Liverpool, Birmingham and London. Irish dates include Dublin and Kilkenny so far, from the 8th to the 10th.
As soon as these things become solid, I'll post them.
We're doing our best to have something cool happen in London, so keep your eyes peeled, ladies and germs. Awesomeness awaits. And possibly nightmares. Which is awesome in itself.

«Oldest ‹Older 1401 – 1600 of 1755 Newer› Newest»(designed another tattoo for my mum :D :P )
(Yes )
ey b0ss.
(Hey FERA)
how're ya?
tattoo's my mum got that I designed if anyone cares
Hey Frank how ye be? )
that's pretty good, k :P
I am feeling extraordinarily different. What about you, bitch? :P
(I am okay)
( thnks :D my name is in the first one and my sisters in the second.
i'm good :D whats different?
Cool :D
I am different :P Well, some part of me is. I've been training a lot.
(Crap! My ducking knees hurt so much!)
why? what happened?
(Has no idea why)
ah...probably in one of the growing stages XD
(I wish so
I want to be taller... Maybe I should invest in heels)
(Do you ever get so inchanted by a sun set you forget you were looking at the sun then lose your vision for a while? )
*you're
And the answer to your question is...no. I don't look at sunsets. But I have looked at sunsets before, and yeah i think that happens sometimes.
(WA that really necessary?)
yes. Absolutely.
(Just lay off with correcting every little grammar mistake -_- if I remember yours wasn't always en point)
(If you want to play it that way...
*Yes
*LOL)
Love how you got so over-protective XD
(Jack's my boyfriend. Of course I am going to protect him.)
Nobody attacked your boyfriend X'D
(I know, but he is not the happiest right now and he doesn't need his grammar to be corrected. He is amazing at English and knows the correct grammar... It is just easier to not think about grammar when talking back and forth.)
*happens to agree with Chloe on that one* *doesn't have a problem with commenting on lack of grammar due to an inability to understand the other person, but thinks that nitpicking in informal conversation is generally rather unnecessary*
Everybody has problems. I don't think he'd get offended over a grammar correction XD and plus i only did it to mess around a bit, not calling him out on it lol. OH well ^_^
(*nods* thanks Star)
(Well it kind of pushed him further into his bad mood
Why do you think he deleted the comment?
He isn't in the mood to put up with that.)
K
@Fera: Everybody gers offended by everything these days. If you can think it, it's offensive. ;)
However in general I realise if people CAN'T use correct grammar, it may be a touchy point for them. Ability to use words doesn't define intelligence, and degrading people for something they can't help is, y'know.
So in general I don't see a need to point it out unless there is, like, a need for it. I mean you can go around correcting everyone's grammar if you want, it's a free country, but I just fail to see what the gain would be from it.
^not having a go at Jack's being offended. Speaking generally.
I don't even know why I bother speaking some days -_- *looks annoyed at self*
k, star :P
(*hugs Star*)
Nah it's good to speak.
:) *hugs Chloe back*
@Fera: Yeah, that's why every day I get up and start speaking again. XD
(I realise I don't actually speak much on a day to day basis)
I speak a lot, but that's with my friends and even then, only the weirdest humor comes out of my mouth :P
good, star. Keep it up. Some people like those who speak a lot and analyze every situation :) I do that too, just in my head usually :P
@Chloe: *curiously* Do you not?
I don't, really. Comes from not speaking much unless I'm with people I'm comfortable with or in s situation I'm confident in. There's one or two hours in the day when I never shut up, maybe another hour when I talk to my family, and then a bit more necessary speech scattered throughout the day. Usually I tend to look at the hours when I never shut up and look at the hours spent in silence and conclude I overall speak about averagely, but on the whole I think other people speak more. Probably.
@Fera: :)
(I think it's because I never really see many of my rl friends anymore)
@Chloe: :( :( :( That sucks . . .
(Yeah... Everyone's busy... I have to get back to the gym with izzy, but she's working so hard after getting an offer to Cambridge)
I only spend school time and little more with my friends. Other than that, i am pretty much doing stuff alone :P
@Chloe: *nods* :( Busyness is a curse.
@Fera: Ah, you see, I don't do stuff at all.:P
Apart from schoolwork and drawing and roleplaying but I'm not sure any of that is productive.
(I need to revise)
Well, drawing and schoolwork are :P Maybe roleplaying when you're feeling lonely. Don't think that's a bad thing :D See, it's hard for me to get myself to revision. Cuz I know I won't be able to memorize/understand properly, which will frustrate me a lot. I don't like to be reminded of my incompetency :P
(I nee to revise... Need to get into Portsmouth...)
@Chloe: Me too. :(
@Fera: We roleplay whenever we're all free, though. But in fairness Cat would hallucinate if we didn't roleplay so I suppose it's somewhat productive.
And drawing isn't really productive. But meh.
:(
(*sings a freak like me needs company from Spider-Man on Broadway *)
Well, drawing develops your fantasy and hand eye coordination skills...it is :)
It's fine though. I'd like to think i am smart in a different way :P
oh btw, i started watching dexter back in december. I am now on season 3 and holy shit, I love him :P
(Never seen Dexter... My fri- old friend used to like that ^.^)
I don't just like it. I adore it lol. Mostly because dexter himself :P
( i thoughty you had already watched dexter..
)
@Fera: It's not fantasy if you're copying. :)
I haven't watched Dexter.
(She had an ifatuation with it)
nah, I saw a few scenes and heard of his character before, but never properly watched the series...I was an idiot lol :P
well, your visuo sketchpad is still improving :P
(You know... I thought I would've been more upset about losing my best friend but I'm not... )
( theres a couple dry seasons but all in all it's awesome :D )
you watched all, k? :P
Well if it makes you feel better, chloe...when we moved out here I wasn't bothered at all even though we left friends and family behind :P I am still not bothered.
what do you think about the ending? Like don't tell me what it is and no spoilers, but were you disappointed, or ok or amazed by it? :D
(Yes but I am not you and I normally feel something
Maybe I became emotionally detached from her after all her constant putting me down)
perhaps you did ^_^
(yeh ages ago
I loved the ending it was sad and good and could possibly come back which I've heard it might be doing next year )
@Chloe: :) It's good that you don't feel bad.
damn, I really need to get through the season XD I don't have much time but when i can, i will watch it :P
(She didn't even get me anything for. Christmas... And for her birthday she took two girls who I'm friends with for a weekend away... She didn't invite me, her supposed best friend -_-)
@Chloe: :/
(She always claimed to be poor and complained about not having money for going to town... She has loads of Apple stuff and expensive art equipment and she and those girls stayed in the Hilton for the weekend!)
@Chloe: :/ :/
(I think I've had enough rants about people today... *sighs* I need to take up yoga)
If you say so.
Tearing small wounds in my skin tends to help me find inner peace, personally, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Drawing's good for inner peace though. :) although it can also be ridiculously stressful.
Punching hard things does that for me but again, wouldn't recommend that either :P
@Fera: Mmh that's more of an instant pus thing though, at least it is for me. Drawing and skin picking really help me get into a Zone. :)
well yeah, ever since I broke our fire place, put crack in walls etc. I try keeping it down, though when i get one of my urges, it's really hard not to at least punch something, since hurting people around me is something i don't wanna start doing. I've trying putting myself into a certain mindset which will help me calm down the fire inside :P
*I've been
@Fera: :(
Tried stomping?
Yeah. Once broke the 2nd floor and another time some other object i can't remember XD *sighS* honestly wish i had a foster father like dexter did.
@Fera: :(
He understood him...looked out for him....mine? Lol, he doesn't give many shits about me, if at all, and definitely has no clue about who or what i am :D
Does anyone? :P
not really :P But he's the most distant anyone could get :P
@Fera: :(
I mailed you :P
*nods*
(I. Hate. Spiders. )
spiders, hmm? I personally think they're cute as long as they don't crawl in my mouth or anything like that lol.
(Had one crawling over me half hour ago... Couldn't scream cause people were in bed
Nos da!)
night.
(My dad and I just watched The Revenant. Um. Everybody's selfish, basically.)
( I like to call it 101 ways to kill lewo before he gets an oscar (now got)
(*hums to self*)
(*sings it's the end of the world as we know it)
(fingers crossed)
(*laughs*)
(how are we all?"
I'm watching this new DC show.
It's awful.
(which one?)
It's called Heroes of Tomorrow or something?
It's just.
Ugh.
No.
Why did you make this?
(I imagine cash came into it at some stage)
Very little for the writers, by the quality of this dialogue. The exposition is as ham fisted as a butcher who's been in in a horrific accident with a sewing machine.
(a high price is no guarantee of quality. They'll make their money back on merchandising, public appearances (even if its to apologise), and there'll always be a wee hard core of fans who'll gobble up whatever detritus is spewed out regardless of content or standard of production, and utterly irrespective of motive.)
The choreography is also lame AF. Whoever directed this loves shakeycam way too much.
Also, they just had a really substantial conversation about why you should avoid disrupting the timeline when time travelling in the middle of a busy university campus.
Also there's a really stupid time Lord rip off thing.
So much I hate.
YOU CAN'T STOP THE BEAT
(you are allowed to stop watching you know.)
(why would I stop the beat? Has the beat done something wrong? Did it rob someone?)
OH MY GOD NO, BUT I MUST STOP THE BEAT. I MUST AVENGE MY FATHER.
Well it's only the first episode. I'm just giving it a shot. I will not give it another.
(We're studying Hairspray in theatre class)
I like Hairspray. It's fun and exciting.
(I love hairspray
The blacker the berry the sweeter the juice,..)
I really like it, too. It has plenty of fun and light-hearted moments, but it also deals with racism and stuff.
We did a bit of a read-aloud for the non-singing bits, and I got to read for Tracy, which was fun because I love how perky and idealistic she is.
(Unless its a strawberry, raspberry, or gooseberry. In which case, its probably a sign of Blight.)
(our school tied to do a production, which was difficult as the cast were predominately white, in a musical where segregation is a key theme.)
(I haven't watched it in ages)
(How is very one? *offers hugs all round*)
(been better. I have a cold.)
(Get well soon!)
(should be back on my feet by tomorrow.)
(hows you?)
(I am tired but okay ^.^)
(beats sniffly and shivery, i can tell you.)
(Wrap up warm, if you're still ill tomorrow, get actives tablets
They dry runny noses and eyes)
(doesn't matter if I'm ill tomorrow. I'm not staying in my house another day. i might not survive the diet of custard creams, toast, soup and hot orange, lemon and honey I've been subsiding on for much longer.)
(imagine gollum with a dressing gown. that's me, right now.)
( I could live off of that)
Guys
Sunday the 13th, I get to go to a Democratic Party dinner.
Where Hillary and Bern will be
I MIGHT BET A SELFIE WITH THEM
I'm throwing up
(*laughs at the image* have you seen Gilliam winning an award?)
That's cool. Not who I'd want to see, but seeing anyone in person that's running is pretty neat.
(ThT awesome Noelle!
Just not the throwing up part)
(believe me, it starts to wear.)
(aaaaannnd suddenly I'm horrendously out of pace with the conversation. sorry!)
(*offers cookies to everyone*)
Cool Noelle!!!
Except throwing up. :(((((
(i'm offski. bye all.)
(Bye Bru!)
(Damn Daniel )
OH MY GOD
I was also just told that for my scholarship, I'm moving down to the interview phase.
They interview 30 of the thousands of applicants
And 20 get the scholarship
I'm screaming
IT'S A 40,000$ SCHOLARSHIP
OH GOD
Today is the best day I've had in about a year :,)

(I'm so happy for you Noelle!)
Heyo

That's a shame, Chloe.
Hello.
@Chloe: Good. End of a week. :) scared though.
(Scared?
Hey gem
Decided... If I get married then i shall have a handfasting ceremony
I've Sen them on YouTube and their beautiful!)
@Chloe: Yeah.
What's a handfasting ceremony?
Oh is it that thing where your hands are tied together?
(Yes, a pagan ceremony )
Ah kk. :)
(I feel minging!)
(*hangs head over a bowl of boiling water with VIc in*
*its torture*)
@Chloe: :(
(How is you?)
(Hello.
*skim-reads*
@Noelle Well done! I hope you get that scholarship.
@Noelle Bernie!!!!!!
I wonder, now that Trump has talked about his penis size, how Bernie and Hillary will respond. Hmmm... *looks thoughtful*
Also, I don't know if you've seen the new Ghostbusters trailer, but I'd kinda like to discuss it with you guys? Maybe?
Oh, and there's a video of Keanu Reeves doing some target practice. He is very good O_O
*offers hugs to anybody who's on*)
:0
And I just heard back about a job I applied for. They want an interview!!!
Yay!!!
(@Noelle Yay! Good luck with the interview! :)
@Chloe: Haha this is a bit late but I'm okay. Bit stressed.
@Noelle: !!! :) :) ;)
Just watched Ant-man... Fucking awesomesauce!
Now just have to watch Cap America 2 and then I think I will be all set for Civil War...
Well not really...
But just about ready to watch it.
(Mine?
@Emerald Ant-Man was good? (It's the only one I've not seen))
Yeah, really good.
Full of humour, kick ass action scenes, Avengers cameo, Stan Lee cameo.
Your basic, brilliant Marvel movie.
(Okay. @Emerald You've not seen Deadpool, have you? It's definitely not a basic Marvel movie. It's very different. So if you're still catching up, you might've missed that, but, again, it's very different, and unrelated to the current Marvel Avengers plot.)
Oh I know Deadpool is in a league of it's own. That I look forward to.
Hmmm... Ryan Reynolds ass in red leather...
*coughs awkwardly*
Sorry but yeah, Ant-man is typical Marvel goodness that has been provided to us before Deadpool arrived lol
(Mmm... will watch Ant-Man this weekend, hopefully.
Anyways, I'm off to sleep! Good night, Em!)
:(
I'm always pinching my sides
@Noelle :/
But awesome about the interview!!!! Good luck with all of them!!!!!!!
Loved Ant Man!!
(IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO LIKES DEADPOOLS ASS!!!)
(*watches home on the range *)
(*sings ace of spades*)
(hello)
T: *is sitting on a log next to a fire rubbing his ginger scruffy beard* -relives a single sigh laugh-
R: You should shave that mess... *she says with the hint of an Australian accent*
T: But she likes it. *he says with an Irish twang *
R: I doubt that.
T: It's in the itchy stage.... it's trying to kill me.
R: No what we're about to find is going to try to kill you and having a beard is going to give it another way to do it.
T: *picks up his glowing blade and puts it to his throat* Goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend....
R: Don't be such a twat about it.
S: *emerges from the bushes to see her husband about to cut himself* What are you doing with that thing? *she says with a strong Scottish Accent*
T: *looks startled* uhm itching my beard?
S: Why are you asking me? Put it down ye big dafty, e-four ye hurt yersel.
R: Right you two.. find a tent, and by that I mean build it so we can have oursel a barby before we set off to kill the beast.We've got to be less than two day hike from it now.
T: Why do we even care about it? It canny be that bad if it's hiding up these hills can it?I mean it's no like it's gonna kill a village inside the mountain.
S: *taps him* Remember it already did, that's why we were hired.
T: Aye well it's no fair sendin us like? Wit if it kills us?
R: That's why you've got your walking stick ere. Noo pack it in and pitch it up.
-they get to work setting up their tent and have several fumbles before T is hit in the eye with the pop up bar-
-it's finally done 2 hours later and by this point the meat is cooked well to their liking, they eat before heading to sleep taking turns to watch for wolves-
I just realized something
Fera corrected Inky on the spelling of "your" the ther day.
Fera, Inky was correct- "your" implies ownership. "You're" is a contraction of the two words
XD this is a little funny
Grammar checking backfired
*other
F(hello? It's me..)
( hey struan )
Oh, I see, Fera was correcting not-Inky.
Alright, well since the comments are deleted I still have to point out that that's what it looks like now, and it's a little funny.
( thought the same thing at first noelle till later on when chloe defended Jack...
how is everyone? )
(Hello Noelle ^.^
Hey guys)
(waddup'?)
(Jack said something, fera corrected jacks gramma on one word
Jack was in a bad mood to begin with and that pushed him so he deleted to comment
I am tired)
Everyone misspells things on occasions, anyway. I'm so exhausted half the time that I just don't care.
So it's kinda silly to correct people.
(nothing much I was bored and I wanted to write something so I came up with that little weird thing^
I don't know whether to continue it or not.... )
