On August 26th, just twelve short days away, we will be kicking off the tour with a NEW, special event in Waterstones in Hampstead. Apart from the fact that you'll be able to snag a copy of Demon Road a day ahead of its release (you'll even be able to snag one of the limited Platinum editions), and for a full TWO POUNDS off, we'll also have goodies to give out on the night, I'll be yammering on about writing or some such nonsense, and then I'll be signing whatever you want me to sign.

This is IMPORTANT, and it applies to all of the signings and events — I will sign WHATEVER you bring. I don't care what the book is (so long as I've, y'know, actually written it) and I don't care how many are in your bag. If someone, at whatever signing you turn up to, tells you I'm only going to sign books you buy in their store, let me know and I'll sort it out. That rarely happens anymore, but some staff members are over-eager. Obviously time is sometimes an issue, so if the queue is long as I have to jet off to the next signing, we'll impose some limitations — but that's always a last resort.

I will say that my PC manifest is a bit everywhere. Kind of random. I have most of the rares, some urs, then maxed out all commons and uncommon. I have the M-98 Widow IV so we could always duo silver or something. I have my Quarian Infiltrator so I'm all set.
I would say "Let's play Bronze because it's not stressful and kind of relaxing even during a solo game", but I can practically one-shot Brutes. It defeats the point. :P

@Dragona I have a ton of stuff for Xbox 360 but I've literally not reached level 20 on PC. Atm I'm focusing on saving 200k to spend on 5k packs so my starter weapons get to level 10. Then unlock all N7 characters and Omega characters (going for the badges) and then get specific weapons to level 10 (Claymore, Widow etc) I've nothing unlocked but base weapons atm. I miss running N7 Fury with Carnifex or the N7 shotgun :/

Okay so Bronze might be best. :) It might be best if you start buying Recruit Packs until all weapons are maxed out then do the same with Veteran packs for uncommons then Spectre packs for rares etc. That's what I'm doing.

Veteran packs are actually very very good. Spectre packs are the best of course but Veteran packs are good too. :)
Tbh normally I'd be like "yeah sure silver" but you're not level 20 and you haven't maxed out your common weapons, so you'd actually get more points on Bronze imo. I also know I can solo Bronze if things go bad for you. I've done a Silver solo before but there's more enemies in a duo than a solo.
Basically what I'm thinking is that the enemies will do more damage - not good because you're not level 20 - and you'll need to do more damage - not good because you're not level 20 and don't even have your common weapons maxed. So you're more likely to die and less likely to get a lot of points. On Bronze you're less likely to die and because your weapons are more effective you're likely to do better which means more xp.
So what I'd do is play Bronze until you're like level 15 ish and your commons are maxed then play Silver. Otherwise you'll just end up being kicked out of all the lobbies. People will just go "He's clearly inexperienced and he'll hinder the team" even if that isn't true. :/ Like people with an N7 rank of less than 120 get instantly kicked from Gold lobbies. If you wander into a Silver lobby level 10 with the shuriken III, you'll probably get kicked out.
You should also log into the N7 HQ and look at your inventory. It's split the weapons into rarity and it generally goes - common - recruit. Uncommon - veteran. Rare - Spectre. Ultra-rare - Premium Spectre.
I know. I usually only buy premium spectre. I'd rather do 4 people silver because I need credits more than xp. We should host a silver Cerberus lobby *nods* or Reapers.

The only way you're going to get better is practise, though, Chloe (you should have seen how bad Brandon Sanderson was at writing when he was fourteen, it's ridiculous :P and now he's like the most awesome author ever, because he just kept writing until he was good at it). So just keep on writing and sending stuff off, and don't get worried if you get rejected. Like Keiron said, JK Rowling got rejected first - just because you get rejected doesn't mean you're shit at wtiting. Like I said, if you try hard enough, you'll most likely get tehre. :)
Because it is so hard, though, don't rely on the fact that you could have a career as an author. Have a back-up plan. :)
If you tkae creative writing, though, you can put that into use in more ways than just being an author, so. :)

I played three games of Mass Effect with Kas. :)
The first one was hilarious.
We were duoing silver difficulty XD We were sat in a corner and I was sniping everything and rocket launching the Banshees that got too close.
We died late in the game. Kas went down and I was left alone with like 3 Banshees a Brute and god knows what else. My sister kept going on the internet so I was a victim of lag and I kept going down XD Eventually I ran out of medi-gel and I died too. :)
Then we duo'd Bronze. No problems there.
Then we had a silver lobby but put it on public. Rather than my Quarian Infiltrator I decided to go for the N7 Demolisher (basically they can spawn infinite grenades). Came top of the leaderboard. Unusually though I kept dying because of really weird things like I swear to god a Swarmer (a tiny robotic spider thing which can barely do anything) killed me from full health and shields 0o It was either that or lag.

Nope, but I've read the originals. My mom actually had a fairytale book from when she was young and it was so old, the binding was fraying; but that's what made it so cool. :) It had a lot of stories, and one was Cinderella, Snow White, Jake the Giant Killer, and lots of others. ^.^
