It's not easy writing a book.
I mean, it's easier than mining coal. It's easier than most factory work. It's probably easier than a lot of office jobs as well.
But STARTING to write a book... those first few inches you have to push that boulder till it hits the edge and starts to roll downhill... THAT'S the hard part.
Not as hard as teaching, granted. Or working on a farm. Or being a doctor or a nurse or a cop or a fireman. I doubt it's as hard as construction, either, or carpentry, or plumbing, or engineering.
But STILL...

@Sophia: Kaladin didn't really chuck him out a window. He made Dan fall out a window, and then he made him fall upwards into the sky, and then he made him fall downwards at ten times the speed.
Sadly, Dan cannot be killed. I mean, he, like, can't be killed. Even if he was chopped up into little pieces and those pieces were burnt, he wouldn't die. Otherwise Kaladin would have killed me. :P
He might do. I don't know; I haven't asked Catherine. However, he definitely has issues. I don't think it's helped by the fact that the person he lives with doesn't think anythign Dan does is his fault either, and thinks that we should all just be nice to Dan and hope that if we let him have his own way he'll eventually become a nicer person (I'm a bit worried about her, too).

For some reason I feel very cheerul around about now, which is quite odd as it's very juxtaposed to the situation. Zafira, you bullied and harassed Noelle for a year. You admitted that you had every intention of forcing her off the blog. You had no right to do that, and she had every right to defend herself by telling others. She never said you had done anything that you didn't do.
The fact that some people are uncomfortable with you now has nothing to do with Noelle being here or not. It is just a natural consequence of having bullied someone for so long. Some people won't be able to forgive you easily for that, especially given that you still have outbursts.

Noelle should call this home just as any of us do. But Zafira is like the guy that enjoys telling her she's got so many days to leave her house or she's taking all of her stuff and selling her home, trying to force her out of it...
i've tried being nice to Zafira, i tried so hard to make up with Danni and Zaf, e-mailing them both and apologising even when i knew they were at fault and i had no reason to. Because i had to be the bigger person. But all Noelle wanted to do, and did, was come on and post her stories and then Zafira does her little rage-quits and leaves all of us feeling the after shock of the earthquake that is Zafira.

Oh my potato cakes my dad brought us each one home from England when he went to bisit his family last week. My one is like a gradient pink to orange and has a handle. And then the lid is just silver and then there's a red and white straw with a swirly pattern. And I like to drink orange juice and only orange juice, though on the rare occassion, lemonade from it because all the colours thwn become really pretty and it's just the best thing ever. Literally. Not wuite literally though.

I like England too, because it's really cold and in Australia it's just sun sun sun. Except in Melbourne. Where the weather goes from 40 degrees to 13 and hailing within the hour and back again.
But England's really far away and there's 5 of us to go so that's like money and stuff which sucks potatoes but when we do get to go it's really fun. We always go up North somewhere near-ish the Lake District, I think, otherwise I totally stuffed that up. Actually, I was in England when I found this blog. Memories.

Yes Star. Because Greenland only has the one silly anchor port and if you mutate the disease with water transmission too fast they shut down their port and then BAM you lose because Greenland survives and cures the disease. Which totally ruins the fun of destroying the world.

To people dealing with heat:
-STAY HYDRATED. Please. Try to avoid fizzy or carbonated drinks as those can dehydrate you.
-Try and stay in the shade as much as you can.
-Sunscreen is your best friend. And remember to apply it everywhere. On the back of your neck, calves, and your shoulders especially, as a lot of people forget those areas.
-And remember to apply it regularly.
-If you don't have sunscreen, use an umbrella.
-If you're going out, use both (if possible).
-Freeze a bunch of berries or small fruits and eat them.
-If you have a sprinkler or a hose, get into a waterfight. It's fun, keeps you active, and it cools you down.
-Or you could go swimming.
-Iced water is going to be more refreshing than room temperature water.
-If you can put up with them, cold showers actually help.
-If you have long hair, tying it up and keeping it off your neck/back will feel so much better than leaving it down. Of course, that's your personal choice (as are all of these suggestions) but it really does help :)
-Make sure you have enough water throughout the day.

*one late evening, a girl is standing in a dark alley alone, this girl looks about 17 ish*
*she puts her hood up, swathing her face in shadows, she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a knife, there are sigils on the blade and handle*
*the girl touches the sigil on the handle, the sigil makes the blade extend to sword like proportions*
*with this sword-knife, she hides it behind her body and walks out of the alley and down the street, towards a small corner shop*
*once she arrives outside the corner shop, she taps a sigil on her face, the sigil creates, a false darkness inside the hood so her face is hidden from plain sight*
*her preparations set, she walks in the shop, nods to the cashier and walks down one of the aisles, browsing the shelves acting natural...*
*she corners the top of the aisle, and now walks towards the cashier*
*the girl stops by the cashiers desk, pulls the sword-knife out from behind her*
Girl: *shows the man the sword* I need to make a withdrawal...
Cashier: *looks at the sword, browns his trousers and starts panicking*
Girl: Just give me the money and I won't kill you
Cashier: Okay okay... *opens the till and starts taking the money out*
Girl: Hurry up! *bangs the sword-knife on the desk* lets go!
Cashier: *ducks back a bit, while emptying the till*
*puts all the money in a bag and throws the bag to the girl*
Girl: *snatches the bag from the air* see... Wasn't so hard was it?
*she taps a sigil in her knuckles, punches the cashier in the face and knocks him out instantly, wiping his memory* *smiles and leaves the shop*
*once she's outside, she taps the sigil on the sword-knife and the blade shrinks back to how it was before*
*to herself* lets go *she runs away from the scene of the crime, the sound of police sirens behind her*
*once she's a safe distance away, she ducks into an alley, takes out some chalk from her pocket and draws some sigils on a wall* *she smiles to herself and taps the middle sigil*
*the sigil teleports her to a daisy field in blogland*

Elizabeth: *she resumes her normal speed, just to get hit in the face by a shield* *she staggers back, firing a pulse of blue energy from her palm, knocking the soldier away* *she dodges to the side as a soldier charges at her, stabbing him in the back whilst she does so, before plunging her dagger downwards into the soldier she had knocked away* *the only few soldiers left are those beside Morgan*
MrBBWolf: *blushes, laughing slightly at Lily*

Bethany: Okay. *she smiles, her stomach rumbling slightly*

And Mr Cole, I could be in serious trouble if the sanctuary find me... So yeah that's my secret, I'm on the run....

*one of the soldiers drops, but the other manages to only get struck in the arm, so staggers and cries out, dropping his shield, but starts to advance a moment later with his sword slashing at Morgan*
Elizabeth: *she fires a bolt at the soldier, striking him in the back, not killing him, but causing the blow to miss and staggering him into Morgan*
