Yeah. We have different standards per state. Like for me in high school I need 3 years of math, science, and history, four years of PE and English.
So I can take 6 credits per year. My core classes are all one credit which is full year.
Then electives are .25- one marking period .50 half year .75 3/4 marking periods.
So I had to take Algebra 1, Earth Science, English (I did Honors) and American History PE and Health all in freshman year
Sophmore year I needed Algebra 2, Biology, English (Honors) World History. PE and Drivers Ed
Junior year- Geometry, Chemistry, English (AP/Honors) Government then Economics (if you pick AP you can do one or the other otherwise the two are half a year) PE
Senior year- English. PE
its' also weird how you get these big qualifications, calling them honours whereas here, you can only say you got honours, when you've finished a 4-5 year old uni course on a high qualification XD

You test into an AP/Honors class then you can opt to take the test and go for college credit. I opted for the Government test and if I score a 3 or higher I get credit (3 is a pass)

@Tami that's the annoying thing, it's made with a young target audience. If it was allowed to be for an older audience, like anime usually is (I'm guessing? Because I'm told anime can be violent? And SH can't be violent because target audience is kids) then they could have done much more with the series. It doesn't really go anywhere :/
