Unforeseen Circumstances

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the announcement of the title of my new series will take place on WEDNESDAY instead of tomorrow.

I could go into the whys and the hows and explain it all to you, making perfect sense and being entirely reasonable...

Or I could just grin and enjoy the fact that you are now cursing my name.

I think I'll do the latter.

(The more stress a tree is put under, the more beautiful and vibrant it becomes.

If you carve into a sappling that carving won't go away, it won't get higher up or lower down but it also won't get bigger whereas the tree.

CO2 for us is a negative and trees make oxygen, a positive.

Trees see CO2 as a positive however.

You get more beautiful the more stress is put on you because you overcome it and you're strong.
You may be scared in the past but don't let that stop you for growing as a person.
You can change the negatives into positives if you try.
You shouldn't be scared to think currently to everyone else. All negatives have a positive.)

@Taia: Really??
I shall stand in superhero poses then. C:

Yeah. Saying things makes them more solid to me, but all my places to say things are filled with people who like me enough to not mind me saying stuff, so that one backfired. :(

The reasons I think I'm a terrible person are because I don't care about people and have ceased to even try. There's no getting around that.

*hugs Jai tightly* :)

@Star: Uh-huh.
Sometimes it's called, like, Power Postures?
Just standing up straight can decrease cortisol levels and increase testosterone levels - making you more confident and less stressed.

Also smiling more and skipping instead of walking? :)

You might look like an idiot, but if it works, you won't CARE. :P

They're always telling me to do bad things, my impulses... Some i can hold back, some I can not.

They tell me to hurt myself,
To hurt my brothers
To hurt my friends
To hurt my mother,
To kill myself, because I am worthless
To kill others, because I need revenge.
To strangle, to hang them, to punch them, to hit them, to attack them- to scream and yell and sob and fall.

And it hurts to see that people are telling each other to kill themselves.

That's base, and pathetic.

... I haven't ever said something like that- I have had it said to me, but never the other way around...
. It hurts so much.

And honestly, the more I check back, the further my respect goes down the drain.

Happiness, as quoted before a la me, is make. And no one is trying. And so... This is just.

This breaks me even more.

No one say anything.
Don't even recognize me.
Don't speak to me..

...Im not anything, and I don't want to be. I don't want any notice until effort is put into this place...

It's just.

Depressing.

it's okay adra. some people need something to get rid of their anger if killing me in their head does that so be it.

I have the same thing apart from the family members and there is only two things that stop me one is that the longer I live the longer I get to piss people off who want me dead (it's a big number) and two kinda wants me dead so yeh maybe she's a one now.

how do you handle not doing it?(others) i want to do it even if just to shut it up. I think it'll make it worse that's why I hate taking the offensive as I feel I'm feeding it.

Though I'm not much of a Star Wars fan, but I still get the meaning of it. :)

Kinda funny, after Star read the last Artemis Fowl book, she began saying 'may the fours be with you' to greet people when they leave and come on. Then she shortened it to just 'fours' and only when people leave because it was getting confusing to say it for both times.

And it's /Star/ and Star Wars. Awesome coinkidink. :P

And a suggestion: listen to calm music. It may help you stay awake, but still be resting, if you focus on it, but even if you fall asleep, maybe it will help keep the nightmares from coming.

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Currently? Little.

In general, I am involved in an excellent game of the Star Wars RPG. Yourself?

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Hehe, I'm getting food, maybe getting a haircut today. Also excited about using Cyclonis in rp.

And I'm really excited about Star Wars. I'm planning to watch all the movies in preparation for episode 7. I am also playing Battlefront 2, and yesterday I finally got to the point where 501st captures Leia. Next mission is a space battle during episode 5 when the rebels are escaping.

The new Battlefront is so lazy though :/

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

How so?

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

It's all explosions and no story :/

Or space. Mfw when flying spaceships in Star Wars that can't go to space.

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Less content doesn't equal laziness. Battlefront II was good, but it slipped in places. And I'm putting my money on a more polished game in III.

Unless EA just screws with Dice. Then I'm sure the game will suck. But if they let them be Dice, and be good, then I think the game will be of good qualitu.

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

We'll see. Though I likely won't buy it.

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Dice are awful at story though. I think trying to spend loads of time on something that they've only ever proven themselves to be pretty awful at would be pretty dumb.

Do I want a story? Yes. Do I want it at the cost of gameplay? No.

Frankly, if EA weren't such dicks they'd just bring in another studio, but whatever.

Anonymous said...

it's fine garrett. honestly everyone acts like a death wish is the worst thing to happen to you, get as many as I have they are basically a way to greet me. so it's fine, go ahead and mean all of it it won't make a difference. but goodbye.

Star Inkbright said...

Hi, maybe.

*is trying to get my head around ontologically basic mental entities*

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

DICE has been disappointing lately. Still, I'm not a huge fan of Star Wars anyway, so I'll just watch and see. If they're rushing it out to release it because they can't delay it past episode 7's launch, and cause another BF4, I won't be surprised.

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Thank god I'm not a fan of anything.

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Sure, if you play AAA. Those guys just want to suck the money out of ya.

For the price of one of those games, buy Thomas Was Alone, To The Moon, Game Dev Tycoon, The Amplitude Complete Pack and Insurgency.

All really god damn good indie games. I've played at least ten hours of each, and they are STUNNING.

Thomas Was Alone made me care for rectangles. Rectangles.

Trip Castalan, Lord of The Hobbits, The Fourth Most Popular Folk/Parody Banana Thief In The Land said...

Sorry, that's the Introversion pack.

The Amplitude one is about eighty pounds. But it's four games, so I can't really complain.

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

@Trip Companion cube. Enough said.

And I heard Game Dev Tycoon gets really good if you pirate it :P

But yeah, I don't play that much these days. No time. But I'm moderately informed though.

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Rectangles? I prefer to care for triangles instead.

Star Inkbright said...

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

You're still awful.

There is a line, about fifty years after a game's release when it sort of becomes okay, because where are you even going to buy that? But even then you're still going to support pirating as a whole.

So yeah.

No.

(Hello, Tamami.)

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Oh. I see. I played that once. It isn't very fair, it's all about pushing yourself to the limit in a small amount of time, rather than ensuring you can stay in a fight for as long as possible. Oh, well, I won it by a landslide. Maybe it'd be more fun with decent competition, like you.

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Hey, Tami. How are you?

Lavender Hope said...

*makes a wish*

Hi Soph. Sounds fun. :)

Star Inkbright said...

Hu Tamami, Sophia. :)

33 days until I get to never do English again.

18 days until I never have to do English Lit again.

Ugh.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(I was tagged 6 times, and all were in the gun so it would not have been fatal. There was some kind of children's party happening, and I saw that I shot at least three children in the eye, possibly more. It is just instinct for me to shoot at the head.)

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Oh. I just peppered the area with fire. And repositioned while suppressing their positions. I guess everyone was having fun or something, and I was taking it way too seriously. Oh, well.

Lavender Hope said...

Slightly worried.

Something happened to the water tank and we aren't allowed to use water until it's fixed. I'm just hoping it'll be fixed soon because I didn't get a shower yet due to song practice and my being lazy that I didn't go straight to it after we finished.

Then there's the fact that if it's not fixed until tomorrow, I'd have to wake up really early, but I suck at rising early and there's something happening in the morning and we can't be late so I'm worrying.

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

(The children were taking it far too seriously. They were screaming every time they shot someone... And also when I hit them in the eye. The second is understandable, but not the first, however.)

Star Inkbright said...

@Tamami: Oh . . .
Not good. :( *hugs*

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

*hugs Tami* :/ I hope they fix it. We can rp, if you want?

@Sophia More seriously than that. When you're shooting, ducking, moving around, you don't want to waste energy on shouting, nor do you want to give away your position by doing so.

Lavender Hope said...

@Star: Nope. Not at all...

@Soph: kinda dangerous... I hope they're okay...

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

@Tami yep.

@Soph it's only paintballing.

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

(*pouts* Awww. But paintball is fun! Or are you scared of a little pain? *grins*)

Scarlet Melody said...

*raises an eyebrow at the frozen tree, then turns to look at Cyclonis' staff*
Neat power. But is that all it can do?

*distinguishes the flame in her hand and turns to throw a punch at the frozen tree, pushing on the air strong enough that the tree cracks with the force of it*

*before giving Cuclonis a chance to react, she also raises her hands as if lifting up a heavy invisible object*
*the ground below Cyclonis and herself is raised slightly higher than the surrounding earth, formed in a circle*
*and as a last effect, solidifies the moisture in the air and turns it into a small ball of water floating above her hand; tosses it to the ground where it splatters like a water balloon*

Lavender Hope said...

I agree with Soph. Paintball sounds like it would really hurt, and is probably more dangerous than later tag.

@Kas: Cool. :)

Lavender Hope said...

@Soph *smiles innocently* But I don't mind the pain? *flutters eyelashes then promptly falls over cause fluttering eyelashes makes me dizzy*)

(Yes, he spent more time than I would have liked talking to her. It was about 50/50.)

Thanks.

*takes a quick glance down at Cyclonis' feet, noticing her hovering, before looking back at her face*
I'm from a country called America- well, more like the United States, but we shorten it to just USA. I live in an area on the west side, a state called California.

But this is more my home now.
*motions around her*
This is a community for magic users like me; we call it Blogland. There are others around, but I wouldn't know where they are or what they're up to. Don't really spend a lot of time with the group.
*shrugs in an indifferent kind of way*
I'm sort of a loner, though I like to think I'm friendly enough.

So what about you? Where did you come from?

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

USA? That's a strange name for a Terra. I'm from Terra Cyclonia. I lived there most of my life.

Lavender Hope said...

...

I'm really bad at role playing, aren't I? I mean... I think I, myself, talk too much and it shows in my characters...

That plus the fact that I take a long time to think about my responses are what make me so slow at replying.

I'm sorry! >.<

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Tami, it's okay. It takes me a while too. And I keep my responses way too short :/

Lavender Hope said...

Also, Kas, it's actually probably a good thing I don't know much about her world, so I can honestly ask questions without already knowing answers.

Like is Terra their word for country, or is it just as it means in Latin, earth/land?

Star Inkbright said...

@Lav: Mmh, that's why it's sometimes easuer to roleplay with someone else's character. Because you have a model to follow. :) However, I would rephrase your 'talking too much' as 'talking a lot,' because I don't see an issue with it.

Lavender Hope said...

Well, then I guess we both have to figure it out, huh?

I think I try to be too detailed with the imagery of everything. Like trying to describe as I would reading a story or something.

Lavender Hope said...

@Star: yeah, I think that's what I meant. :P

And it probably is, but it would also be hard trying to stay /in/ character with one who's not yours. :P

Scarlet Melody said...

*smirks slightly*
Cyclonis from Terra Cyclonia? Is that just a coincidence for your name to be so similar with the name of your homeland?

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

(@Tami basically, a Terra is usually a flat mountain that can support life, with the space between these mountains being inhospitable and full of lava and monsters.

Cyclonia is more a fortress than a mountain)

Lavender Hope said...

No offense to her or anything, but with that picture, Cyclonis looks like a boy.

Unless that's what she was going for?

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

No, it is not a coincidence. I was named after my terra.

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

(Meh. Androgynous.)

Lavender Hope said...

Ah. Cool. Thanks.

ScarletTC is still thinking of Cy's home like Earth's style lands.

Star Inkbright said...

@Lav: Oh, I think it's easier with one who's not yours, coz you have a model. Characters are their own individuals whether they came from my head or anyone else's, but if I get unsteady with my representation of my own character, the only place I can fact-check (or realism-check :P) is in my subjective morphy malleable mess of a head, whereas if it's, say, Brandon Sanderson's, I have a wonderful hard-copied 2000 pages to refer to and keep me on the right track. :)

Of course, you tend to know your own characters better, but I would tend to avoid roleplaying someone else's character if I didn't know them well enough/couldn't represent them, regardless.
