*SCREAMS* WHY DO PLEASANT AND REASONABLY ATTRACTIVE PEOPLE KEEP SNEAKING INTO MY ROOM AND HUGGING ME.

*hides under blanket*

(@Chloe Yay for more comic con!

*does not read comics*

*...mostly*)

Hey, Fabi! *tacklehugs*

How are you?

The Grave of a Coward said...

A mini Con?
Oh my gosh, that sounds amazing! You could rent out the gym or some such thing, and wear costumes and eat nerdy food, and . . . wow, that just sounds really neat!

Inky Flame said...

(I don't Kas ^^ I go there for the pureawesomeness and dressing up)

Garret Falcone said...

(sounds like fun Chloe)
(Hear hear to your ded Clars, it was good)

Mary Contrary said...

@Sophia: Aw :/ I'm alright, thanks. ^^

@Star: ... Oh? That's an interesting method. So you do ordinary Maths at the same time?

We finished our GCSE in the January, and then results in March, after which top set were forced to do additional, unless they had to resit(or something like that :P).
So, since we didn't get a choice, we were just taught by our normal teacher. There was nothing computerized in it. ^^

Inky Flame said...

(Nerds of the college uniting!
I sooo can't wait)

The Grave of a Coward said...

I went to my first-ever Con last month, as you all probably know, and it was the best weekend of my life. I think anything that brings Con-like happiness into people's lives is a good thing.

Inky Flame said...

(I can't wait for comic con this Saturday
*winks at Rhos*)

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

I'm attractive?

*faints*

*falls down stairs until he's no longer attractive*

*keeps falling*

*It's a long way down because he was apparently reasonably attractive to begin with*

The Grave of a Coward said...

I've got nothing but school until I leave for Disneyworld. Although I do have a fencing tournament tonight.

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

You don't have to do that claire..
*keeps scrambling the eggs, waiting for them to be just right*
*turns off the hob and plates up the eggs, setting the plate down on the table, pouring some orange juice for Claire and putting some cutlery down for her* voilá.
*walks to the fridge*

Inky Flame said...

(*catches Kas* you will ruin you're beautiful face if you fall further)

Mary Contrary said...

@Clara: *additional exclamation marks for Harry Potter WOrld* !!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

*hugs Fabi*
That sounds like a nice way to spend your break, hopefully. :)

@Chloe: Oh, awesome! Sounds like a great idea. :0

The Grave of a Coward said...

*rocks hand from side to side, palm down*
Only reasonably attractive. Only reasonably.
*barely contained smirk*

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

Claire: Yes, I do. *sits down at the table* ... Thanks, Silente. *starts eating her scrambled egg*

Inky Flame said...

(Good luck Anni! I always wante to try fencing)

The Grave of a Coward said...

Fencing is . . . eh.
I love being able to fence, and being able to say that I can fence, and fencing random gangs, and getting involved in street-fencing rings, and building fences in people's backyards, but actually attending the classes is a bore, I must say.

Star Inkbright said...

@Taia: Yup. Further maths is in my free time, as well . . . I used to go once a week after school, but now I go once a week at lunch. And it's with a different teacher to my normal one.
Last year wasn't computerised, but this year it's all online . . . it's probably better that way. :P
But yeah. Not having anyone explain it to me sucks. My friend has had my further maths teacher as a maths teacher ever since she's been at secondary school, and you know, it's no wonder she's in bottom set and predicted a D . . . they should give their best teachers to people in the lower sets, instead of giving them the crappy teachers no one wants. How are they ever meant to pass without it being explained satisfactorily to them?
. . .
Yeah.

And I just think giving someone the same teacher five years in a row sucks anyway. There'll always be teaching methods that won't work for some people, so they shoudl rotate their teachers, so everyone gets taught well some years instead of some people not getting taught well for their entire education.

Inky Flame said...

(Is it? Aww
Kung fu is weird now
The guy who was roughly my height has gone to UNi now so I have to partner with the brown belt and he almost snapped my elbow)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: I got distracted ranting but YES, MINI-COMIC-CON!!!!! YAY!!! Sounds like a great idea, and I'm glad it's happening. :) :)

Mary Contrary said...

... Wasn't there a Spongebob episode where Squidward becomes increasingly attractive with each hit he takes to the face?
Because if that happens to Tia, with that many stairs... :P

I always wanted to try fencing, too. ^^
I went so far as to find when the classes were on, but I was too scared to actually join, naturally. :P

Inky Flame said...

(There should be pics when it does happen, if they don't appear on the Facebook page I will see if I can post them on my blog)

The Grave of a Coward said...

I see. I've always wanted to try martial arts.
In fencing class, we don't partner with any one person. Everybody fences with everybody. This is especially good because the class ranges from Ryan, the twelve-year-old fencing prodigy, to Charles, the 67-year-old gay heart surgeon.

No, I'm not kidding.

Everyone is of different ages and heights, so we get to fence a lot of different people using a lot of different styles. Plus, it leads to a lot of team spirit and camaraderie between kids and adults, which is something rarely seen.

Inky Flame said...

(I'm the only girl in Kung fu XD)

The Grave of a Coward said...

Around a third of the fencing class is made of of ladies of various heights, though not one of them above 5'6".

Garret Falcone said...

(*winks back at Chloe*)
(fencing looks fun Clars, is it fun though?)

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

You're welcome..
*takes the lid off the rice and curry and puts them in the microwave*
*sets it for one minute then turns to face Claire*
Tasty?

Inky Flame said...

(Really?
I would love to try it ^.^ but there Is this girl I know who represents wales or something like that for fencing and the amount of times she has had a massive support on her leg...)

Star Inkbright said...

@Taia: XD XD XD

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

Claire: *nods, having a drink* Thank you...

The Grave of a Coward said...

Oh, it's very fun, if you're good at fencing. If you're not good, then, to coin a popular meme, "you're gonna have a bad time."

I am not good at fencing.

Inky Flame said...

(*glomps Rhos*)

Mary Contrary said...

@Star: That's a really good point. And I agree.
Actually, I think that there should be fewer not-very-good teachers, but that's kind of a different matter, I guess. But yeah, I agree. :/

But like, on the Further Maths, if you find anything you don't get, I'd be happy to [try to] help. :) (which I've probably said already, but STILL. :P) ^^

@Anni: Oh, that sounds brilliant..! :)

The Grave of a Coward said...

DAMN IT ALL TO HELL.

While I've been talking to you I've been trying to catch up on my reading. My current reading is The History of my Life, being the infamous memoirs of Giacomo Casanova, in six volumes. I just finished the first volume, and it ends with him boarding a ship and sitting in a compartment with a mother and her teenage daughter, and the last lines of the book are:

"The girl was ugly. I was bored for the whole journey."

THE END

DAMMIT CASANOVA KEEP IT IN YOUR PANTS.

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

Taia! XD

*keeps falling* :S

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

@Clara Oh, myyyyy.

Inky Flame said...

(lol Anni XD
*stops Kas from falling* don't, you will ruin your attractiveness )

Mary Contrary said...

*Tia's stairs spontaneously turn into a bouncy castle*

The Grave of a Coward said...

Casanova is a very stressful reading experience for me.

The reason is because most of the time I agree with everything he says, and laugh at all his jokes, and want him to succeed in all his endeavors. This is a problem because HE'S CASANOVA. He's a horrible person, and yet I really identify with him.

AND THE REST OF THE TIME HE'S GOT HIS HEAD UP THE SKIRTS OF A DIFFERENT WOMAN EACH DAY.

Honestly, Casanova, have some self-control. It's getting kind of absurd.

Mary Contrary said...

Anni XD

Dammit

Chemistry!

Chemistry!

John said...

Always fear when Blake is near.

*Pauses*

That sounded better in my head, I figured it was more accurate than "Never fear, Blake is here!".

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

*drums her fingers on the side, uncomfortable with the silence*
*sighs in relief when the microwave beeps and opens it quickly*
*puts the rice and curry on a plate, grabbing a fork*
*sits down*

Inky Flame said...

(Hey Blake, how art thou?)

Mary Contrary said...

*laughs* Hi, BLake!
*fears*
*a little bit*
*... maybe*
:P

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

Claire: ... Are you alright?

The Grave of a Coward said...

It's actually very fascinating, doing a character study on this guy, because it's such a toss-up between the two aspects of his personality: the charming underdog trying to make it out there in the world, and the horny teenager who keeps getting distracted by sex, rather than paying attention to what his actual goals and dreams are. There's a lot to learn from these books, I've found, and a lot of good advice to be had.

BUT THEN THERE'S THE CHAPTER WHERE HIS BOSS ASKS HIM TO WRITE A SONNET ABOUT MACARONI, AND HE READS IT OUT LOUD AT A MACARONI FESTIVAL AND GETS CROWNED THE KING OF MACARONI.

I'M SERIOUS.

THIS MAN HAD THE MOST FASCINATING LIFE.

John said...

(I'm meh, thanks for asking. I wonder how "meh" became a feeling...)

Inky Flame said...

(*stands on top of table* can I please get everyone's attention?)

The Grave of a Coward said...

Tommy Wiseau Voice: Oh, hi Blake.

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

(@Clara I really feel like reading this. :D)

*bounces down the bouncy stairs of the bouncy castle* :S

The Grave of a Coward said...

Yes, Inky, you have my attention!
*stands at attention*

Garret Falcone said...

(*accepts glomping and holds you in a huggle* well that was a surprise *smiles and laughs*)
(Sil don't you Dare!! Innuendo that)
(Hello again Mr soul)

John said...

(*Directs the attention of his parenthesised self towards Inky*)

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

(Hello, Blake. How are you? What is this... "meh" that you speak of?)

(Sure, Chloe!)

Inky Flame said...

(Right.. Um *whispers to self* this is much easier in rp
*to everyone* um hi, so... The Garky ship will be setting sail soon )

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

Mhmm.
*shovels curry into her mouth, not particularily enjoying the taste but needing to have a reason not to speak*

Edward Fletcher said...

(And I am back)

Inky Flame said...

(Welcome Ed!)

The Grave of a Coward said...

*applauds politely for Garky*
Ah, young love.

John said...

(*Claps softly. He was thinking about simply twirling a finger in the air but that would be rude. Funny, but rude*)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Thank ye Chloe)

John said...

(Hullo, Edward.)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Garky? Ohhh, well that was inevitable

Hello Blake, how be you?)

John said...

(I be meh, thank you for asking.)

Inky Flame said...

(*smiles* another reason I like talking on here: it is way easier than real life )

John said...

(Amen to that, Inky.)

Inky Flame said...

(Inevitable Ed? Really?)

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

Claire: ... What's wrong?

The Grave of a Coward said...

*looks around at all the happy couples*
*sighs heavily*

*produces a bouquet from behind her back*
*presents it to Inky and Garret*

Congrats on the Garky!

Mary Contrary said...

@Anni: Wow, that sounds really interesting. O_O

@Garky: :) :) :)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Meh?

Yes, inevitable)

Garret Falcone said...

(Hello Sebastian,
i have a question for you: how do / did you know it was inevitable?)

Chione Asahina said...

Hey hello

The Grave of a Coward said...

Greetings, Khione.

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

*pauses in the stuffing of the face*
*swallows*
Nothing.
*eats slower*

Edward Fletcher said...

(Why am I Sebastian? Call it a hunch Gar)

John said...

*Tacklehugs Chione so forcefully they go straight through the wall*
*Cuddles her tightly*

Inky Flame said...

(*smiles* thanks everyone and thanks for the bouquet Anni *huggles*)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Hello Chione)

Inky Flame said...

(Hey Khi! How art thou?)

Edward Fletcher said...

(*Raises glass* To the happy couple, Garky)

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

(Hey chi..)

Mary Contrary said...

Chi! *hugs! Hi! :)
How're you doing?

The Grave of a Coward said...

I do hope there'll be a wedding in your future, and one that will be far less tragic, interrupted, or nonexistent as some other Blogland weddings I could name . . .

The Grave of a Coward said...

*raises glass*
Here here!
*drinks deeply*

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

Claire: ... Please stop lying.

Inky Flame said...

(Aww thanks Anni! And if there is, you are all invited)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: Yaaaaaaaay! :) *hugs*

*and hugs Gar, too :)*

The Grave of a Coward said...

Grand! I've never been invited to a wedding before.

Star Inkbright said...

. . .
I personally think marriage is a bit overrated, but. :P

Edward Fletcher said...

(Neither have I Annika, I do hope there will be wine)

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

To Garky! *raises metaphorical glass*

*looks sad*

Star Inkbright said...

@Ed: XD Of course you do. :P

John said...

*Points backwards at Star, still cuddling Chi*

Being a married man, I can assure you that it is not!

The Grave of a Coward said...

I don't think it's overrated at all. One of my great hopes in life is to be married. But, ah well, prospects seem slim at the moment.

*frowns at self in the mirror*

Chione Asahina said...

Ahh! *crashes through the wall* Blakey! *laughs*
*dusts herself off then runs over to Silente and hugs her tighter than she hugged Blake* Hello sis, I love you, im sorry I haven't been on since last week. If you had Skype, I would call you every night... it's not as easy to talk on the blog... im so sorry.

Star Inkbright said...

*looks at Tia and Clara* Folks, coming from me this might not mean much, but seriously, romantic relationships don't have to be the be-all and end-all of life. The fact you're not in a relationship doesn't make your life any less fabulous or fulfilling, nor does it make you any less of a person.
*hugs*

Edward Fletcher said...

(Star, everything is better with wine)

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

*swallows*
I'm not. I'm just hungry..
You should get dressed.

The Grave of a Coward said...

I beg your pardon, Edward, but everything is better with PIE.

Garret Falcone said...

(i fully agree with Chloe on this one (about a wedding and inviting you all)
(Hello Chi how be you? *offers a hug*)
(when did you develop your hunch (the metaphorical one) Ed?)
And thank you everyone

Chione Asahina said...

Hey everyone: Star, Ed, Inky, Tia, Clara, Blake, Sil, Sophia (and anyone who I've missed, hopefully no one.)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Quite a while ago Gar)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Annika, what about pie and wine?)

Chione Asahina said...

*Hugs Gar* And hello to you *grins*

John said...

*Reaches into a shadow and pulls out his own metaphorical wine glass which he raises as Tia did*

Inky Flame said...

(I agree with star
And for the record, you two will find your special ones )

Star Inkbright said...

Sherlock said something along the lines of John and Mary's marriage being a celebration so that two people who were already living together could carry on living together.
:P
Y'know.

I don't know, to be fair . . . :/ I know pretty much NOTHING about my future. Not anything. Most people plan what job they're going to have, but I never have.
So y'know. I think I'll just see what life gives to me.
. . .
Which sounds a scary prospect. O_O

The Grave of a Coward said...

Pie AND wine?

. . .

*whispers* I'm not sure the universe is ready for that.

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

(*hugs chi tightly, bone crushingly tight, crying slightly* I miss you..I feel like I don't even know you any more....I'm surprised you haven't forgotten me...I'd have forgotten me.)

Edward Fletcher said...

(I suppose, then I will lead the way into a new dawn, a dawn of pie and wine)

Star Inkbright said...

Hi Chi! :)

@Inky: :/
I don't think the goal in life should be to find a special one.
That implies that everyonw without a special one has an unfulfilling life.
They don't.

(I think I've probably been hanging out on AVEN too much, but um. XD)

PIE IS BETTER THAN WINE!

Commander Sophia Keating (N7 Operative and Council Spectre) said...

Claire: ... Okay. ... But I'm not leaving you alone...

The Grave of a Coward said...

Well, I hope I find him, that's all I can say.
It's all well and good to say that one's purpose in life is not a romantic relationship, which is absolutely true. It's not. But that doesn't change the fact that I feel like a significant piece of me is missing.

Star Inkbright said...

@Ed: . . .
what about those of us who'd rather aviod alcohol?

. . .
AH WELL!

*LEAPS INTO ED'S DAWN AND IMMEDIATELY RUNS INTO THE PIE-INTOVERTS SECTION*

John said...

*Looks at Anni then at the ground, deep in thought. As he thinks, he sinks. A few moments later he rises dramatically with wine in one hand and pie in the other*

Behold! The perfect combination for making any situation better.

The Grave of a Coward said...

Forget a land of milk and honey, I desire a land of wine and pie.

Star Inkbright said...

@Clara: :/
You're a whole person on your own. You don't need someone else to make you you. You're ALREADY you.

. . .
but yeah.

Chione Asahina said...

(When's the wedding again inky?)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Thank you, Star, Blake welcome to the new dawn)

Inky Flame said...

(Wine and pie will have to be a must! XD)

The Grave of a Coward said...

LET US BRING IN THE AGE OF PIE AND WINE!

*sits in a giant pie*
*rafts down a river of wine*

Star Inkbright said...

. . . I DESIRE A LAND OF FRESHLY MADE CANDYFLOSS, COZ IT TASTES LIKE CLOUDS. :)

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

(@Star I know what it's like to not have any plans for the future.

But I also know what it's like to be lonely.

It fills me with sadness.)

The Grave of a Coward said...

I think wine and pie should be Garky's chartreuse tablecloths.

Star Inkbright said...

*stays in the pie-introverts section* *on the online pie-site that ponders why the rest of the world is so obsessed with wine :P*

Inky Flame said...

(Ed TC and INkyTC will be getting married on the 5th November)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Chloe, join the new dawn

Annika, you have joined the pie and wine dawn)

The Grave of a Coward said...

I'm sorry you're lonely, Tia. In my world, the world of pie and wine, you would never be lonely again.
*hugs*

Chione Asahina said...

Silente I would never forget you! of course I wouldn't! I could never forget my own sister! *hugs her tighter still* I'm so so sorry, I promise I will get it back soon and spend like all day talking to you again.

Star Inkbright said...

@Tia: *hugs* You're not lonely. You have us. :)

. . . *feels rather like Sid when he tells Manny that in Ice Age 2*
. . . *that's probably not a good thing XD*

John said...

Not to shoot you down, Star, but clouds taste like water. Since they are water. Just saying.

*Takes a slice of pie and a sip of wine*

Inky Flame said...

(*joines the new dawn*
*heads for the wone*)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: O_O WOAH SOON!!

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

Claire I'm not sitting in the same room as you while you get changed.

Edward Fletcher said...

(*Gives Chloe wine* A new dawn is upon the world)

Inky Flame said...

*wine

Chione Asahina said...

*is actually on the brink of tears even though she's trying her best to hide it* Oh...

Mary Contrary said...

@Star: On planning the future, me too.

BUt even waiting to see what life gives you, I'm finding, still means a lot of decision-making. :P

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

*huggles Chi* Hey! :)

Well, I am not in your world. I don't eat pie or drink wine.

*goes to get water*

Garret Falcone said...

*gives Tia a hug*
(how be you Chi?)
(How did you come to your conclusion Ed? What made you develop your hunch?)

Inky Flame said...

(*giggles* such a beautiful dawn it is)

Star Inkbright said...

@Blake: It was a metaphor, really. You eat it and you're just like "This is what a cloud tastes like. C:"

It's actually a close call between clouds and air ont he metaphor front, but I imagine clouds mostly taste of air anyway, so. :P Plus 'air' implies it's tasteless. :/ It's not. It tastes of CLOUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.
Maybe flavoured cloud. :P Flavoured water, no?

The Grave of a Coward said...

So I hear you've finally acknowledged me.

John said...

(J does like his chocolate cream pie, but is unfortunately underage for a few more years.)

Edward Fletcher said...

(Little things Gar, little things)

Star Inkbright said...

Chi . . . :( *hugs*

@Taia: Yes. :O I hate decisions . . . :(

Star Inkbright said...

PIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Star Inkbright said...

*STAYS IN THE PIE INTROVERTS SECTION*

Edward Fletcher said...

(Pie, you are part of the new dawn)

Chione Asahina said...

*hugs tia weakly*
*looks at Gar but doesn't answer him*

Chione Asahina said...

Star, you are the Loyal One. You have been blessed by me.

John said...

*Attacks the pie, slicing it up into equal parts quickly and without mercy*

We shall feast on this gift!

Chione Asahina said...

*slumps down a tree, staring at the ground, alone*

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

(*lets go of chi and watches her hug others*)

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

*keeps hugging Chi*

*whispering:*
What's wrong?

John said...

*Hugs Chi tightly, brushing his lips against hers*

You okay..?

The Grave of a Coward said...

*SCREAMS IN AGONY AS SHE IS DISMEMBERED BRUTALLY*

Edward Fletcher said...

(Hello Xan

*Eats pie*)

Inky Flame said...

(Hat Xan! How art thou?

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...
