Reaction to the book is exactly what I'd been hoping for — shock and AWE. There have been MANY threats of violence and decapitation made against me, which I thoroughly deserve for what I've put you through.
All in all, people have been very good about not spoiling it for others, but dear god, there have been some exceptions. A few things on the Facebook page, a lot of stuff on Twitter, some stuff on Tumblr, and one of the very first Amazon reviews has a major spoiler. I don't understand the need to spoil things for others or to seek out spoilers for yourself, and I really can't understand why anyone would casually mention a plot twist without realising it could ruin things for others.
Basically, beware of the internet, Minions.
But on a lighter note, Orla came to a signing on Saturday and she gave me a photograph of the cake she'd had for her birthday.

We watched the Once Upon A Time episode called Second Star to the Right tonight. Neil/Bay/Belfire (who's Mr Gold/Rumplestiltskin/The Dark One's son) went through the portal into Victorian London, and he went into this grand house and started eating bread, and this girl saw him, and she felt sorry for him so she hid him in a cupboard and fed him stuff. She sadi her name was Endy and like O_O.
And then her parents found out and let Bay live with them as a member of their family, because, you know, they're epic. :)
And then one night Wendy told him baout the Shadow, who came in the night somtimes through the window, and could do magic.
Bay freaked and told her not to open the window ever again, because magic had ruined his whole family. It had turned his dad into a monster, and when Bay tried to get rid of the magic so they could be together as father and son, Rumplestiltskin/Mr Gold/The Dark One/Bay's dad was too addicted too the magic and let Bay go through the portal alone.
All magic comes with a price. Magic is evil, and Bay knew it.
So yeah.
And then Wendy did let the shadow in, and she was all like, the shadow comes from a world with no grown-ups where kids can do what thy want and never grow up! I'm going to Neverland to have fun! Bye-bye!
Bay tried to tell her it was a bad idea, but Wendy just said he didn't believe.
And they flew off.
When Wendy came back the next morning, she told of a mystical place with mermaids and that. But she said that when night fell, it was awful, because all the kids started crying beacuse they missed their parents.
Bay: Why don't they go home?
Wendy: They can't. The shadow won't let them. It's called Neverland for a reason. Once you've set foot on Neverland soil, the shadow won't ever let you leave.
Bay: Then . . . how come you escaped?
Wendy: The shadow let me leave. He said he didn't want me, he wanted a boy. He's going to come back tonight and take one of my brothers. *starts crying*
So the shadow came, despite them trying to prevent it, and Bay let it take him, beacuse he wouldn't let magic rip Wendy's family apart.
And then he scared off the shadow with a match, landed in the Neverland ocean, and got picked up by Hook. And that was the end of the episode. Mush more stuff happened in the episode, obviously, but that was the Peter Pan part of it.
Hook's become quite a large character already, but I'll stop there. :P

The first season was better though, we think.
But it (the first season) goes backwards and forwards in time and fills in the blanks and blah, so you have to watch it ALL.

Hunter and Ez are really used to working together. They know what the other one will do without having to confer. When they're in action situations . . . they basically communicate by looking at each other and hand signals, and that's it. As such . . . they're more formidable together than separate.
If they're on the same team, I think it should be on the opposite team to Niccolo. If they're separate, then whateverness. :)

There was this one time we were playing capture-the-flag, and there was this shed on our side of the field. I had a stomach ache at the time, so I just sort of stayed in the shed and jumped out at people, and the other team thought that the flag was there and I was guarding it. Except for Nel and Bob, who knew better!
