Reaction to the book is exactly what I'd been hoping for — shock and AWE. There have been MANY threats of violence and decapitation made against me, which I thoroughly deserve for what I've put you through.
All in all, people have been very good about not spoiling it for others, but dear god, there have been some exceptions. A few things on the Facebook page, a lot of stuff on Twitter, some stuff on Tumblr, and one of the very first Amazon reviews has a major spoiler. I don't understand the need to spoil things for others or to seek out spoilers for yourself, and I really can't understand why anyone would casually mention a plot twist without realising it could ruin things for others.
Basically, beware of the internet, Minions.

And neither would they spill unnecessary blood. If they were going to kidnap you they wouldn't draw blood as it would put your hostage's life at risk.
They would only take a hostage for their own gain - for example to be paid to let them go.
So since they both took her AND spilled her blood it is more likely that they killed her and disposed of her body.

It doesn't MATTER. Everyone likes their own thing and should be left to it. I don't give a crap what people like as long as they DO like it. If it helps them, if they find that they like something, then there's no problem to it.
Music, in the grand scheme of things, means absolutely nothing. Neither does money or any material possession. But what does matter is the feeling that having those things brings. It doesn't matter what people have or what they like for as long as it makes them happy.
But I will say one thing, and I mean it in society in general. People said that teenagers in the 1960s were enslaved by corporate media. BUT I think in the 21st Century it has gone off the chain. People are just like sheep. They like the same things, they do the same things.
And this could be referring to either side of the argument because it is meant to, I have none of you in mind when I say this. But it's better to break the 'norm' and think what you actually think rather than being captured by companies who see certain things as a good way to cash in.
Because that happens a LOT. And I'm not part of it because I think it's incredibly stupid.

My mum was discussing rules once with this yiuth.club (she was a youth worker). And she was getting them to maje the rules, because that is a really good way to do things and people are more likely to honour said rules. And the young people were saying, do you mind if we swear? And they discussed that there were different ways of swearing, and said that if you dropped something.on your toe and went SHIT!, that would be okay, but that if you used bad language at people, insilting them, that wasn't okay.
And that's what my mum believes.
Personally, if people want to insult me, I don't mind what words they use to do it with. The meaning is the same anyway. *shrugs* It makes no didferent to me whether I am insulted with swear woeds or milder language.

Star, I didn't mean that every piece of music is made for money. There have been and... Well there are a lot less of them now, but there have been artists whose songs were packed with so much energy and feeling that it just became one of the most recognisable sounds in the entire history of music.
But then there are those who fire off songs which sound 99.99% the same as the last one they released, because they know that people will buy them.
