Reaction to the book is exactly what I'd been hoping for — shock and AWE. There have been MANY threats of violence and decapitation made against me, which I thoroughly deserve for what I've put you through.
All in all, people have been very good about not spoiling it for others, but dear god, there have been some exceptions. A few things on the Facebook page, a lot of stuff on Twitter, some stuff on Tumblr, and one of the very first Amazon reviews has a major spoiler. I don't understand the need to spoil things for others or to seek out spoilers for yourself, and I really can't understand why anyone would casually mention a plot twist without realising it could ruin things for others.
Basically, beware of the internet, Minions.
But on a lighter note, Orla came to a signing on Saturday and she gave me a photograph of the cake she'd had for her birthday.

And just so you know: I LOVE
WEDNESDAYS.
The college that I go to runs an enrichment programme where you can do different sports and stuff and other non-educational activities.
There was also a Sci-Fi and Fantasy appreciation society which we were all laughing about but then I saw Bioware and was like BIOWAREEEEEE (the creators of Mass Effect).
But then I realised it was on a Wednesday that I could come home at 11:05, so I was like "Nah..."
So I signed myself up to an OCR Text Processing thingy which just seems like typing documents that I'm already good at and you get a certificate and it's recognisable to help you get a good job and I signed up for it and it's on a Monday and Friday so that leaves Wednesday completely free so I can come home more!

AND - There's this sixth former who gets on my bus at my stop, and he often wear Slipknot merchandise, like hoodies and T-shirts. And so I always look out for him because of that, and today, he had a Slipknot BAG!!!!! It was so epic!!!! And I gasped and started shaking my hand, because shaking it's become a habit of mine, and ny friebd asked me what was wrong, but I couldn't tell her because Slipknot Person might have overheard. I call him Slipknot Person in my head, you know. I don't know his name or anything, but I know he must be in Year Thirteen because he wasn't wearing school uniform lqst year either (hebce Slipknot merchandise.)
What with this and my excitment over the boy in my English who's just moved from Suffolk, AND I NEED TO SPEAK TO HIM COZ HE MIGHT KNOW PEOPLE I KNOW ARGHHHHH, BUT HE'S ON THE NEXT TABLE AND I DON'T KNOW WHEN I CAN SPEAK TO HIM BUT NY FRIEND'S IN HER FORM SO SHE MIGHT ASK HIM FOR ME, BECAUSE SHE SAID SHE MIGHT, BUT MY OTHER FRIEND WON'T EVEN THOUGH SHE HAS A LESSON WITH HIM COZ SHE THINK'S IT'S A BIT CREEPY AND STALKEROSH . . . and that reminds me, my point WAS, I feel like a creepy stalker. XD

I basically got in, read the comments, had my evening meal, commented, and now I'm doing.social stuff.
Yesterday I did the same exceot I had to clear out all the cuoboards in my.room (which I last did when I was nine or summat), and it took me HOURS. Another consequence of.losing my bus pass. I didn't fibd it, eveb though the purpose of the clearling was to find it.
£3.75 for a return. £3.75. I swear he charged me £3.25 yesterday, but no, today (and on the ticket) it's £3.75.
£3.75 to go ten ninutes down the road, and £2.75 (I thoight it was £2.95 but my organised, good-memories friend says £2.75) to go forty minutes through numeroue villages to the middle of town.

Well, a few days ago, Liam and his friend Andy were having a barbecue on Liam's balcony in his house. Andy was trying to get the barbecue to light up, and Liam was in the kitchen, getting the burgers and whatnot. Suddenly, the barbecue fell over. The balcony lit up in flame. Liam saw and ran out. Andy was lying on the ground, covered in burns. Liam dragged him out of the house, struggling himself to breathe.
Andy suffered second degree burns. If Liam didn't save him, he would have died.
Liam always wanted to save lives. He has already saved millions. But now, now Liam is a real firefighter. He saved his friend from death.
