Today is my first free day in... days. Which doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is! Today I bought groceries! GROCERIES! Oooooh!
I've had a few days of highly successful signings, and when I say highly successful, I mean they went on for WAY longer than expected. That kinda drains when they come one after another, but I manage to keep my energy up by soaking up the pain and anguish LSODM has caused you. So it's all good.
Now, fair enough, these three don't look PARTICULARLY traumatised, but I assure you they were crying on the inside.
And this Minion had to put her pain down on canvas in order to deal!
And this one gave me cake! CAKE!
And now that I have a few days off before the Manchester and Liverpool signings this Saturday, what am I going to do?
That's right, I'm going to plot out Book Nine, and discover new ways to ruin your happiness.

Yeah actually, I could do with a good roleplay after the fucking day I've had...

We were balancing equations in Chemistry, and I enjoyed it so much. I actually did. I just wanted to take a sheet of unbalanced equations home to balance. :P After she told us to stop, I was still doing it.
I LIKE BALANCING EQUATIONS. O_O
I suppose what I actually like is maths, and I knid of do, but meh . . . I just get bored like normal people usually. In primary I liked maths. I suppose I like maths. Actually, I suppose I just like solving things. I used to like just doing sums . . . Like how I like Minesweeper and Solitaire. They're the only two games I play on my phone. Although sometimes I do Flow Bridges.
And . . . One time at the beginning of year eight, we got asked this question, can't remember it. I wrote out the numbers one to one hundred and vegan using a long method to solve it involving counting and tallies and marking stuff off. After a bit, some worked out the quick way of solving it, and they got a well done and we stopped the activity, but when I got hone, I carried on doing tge long method because I enjoyed doing all thr counting and marking or whatevs, and when I'd finished, I did it again, just fir the fun of it. :P It wasn't as good the second time round, though . . . Like in year seven, when you have a new timetable, you get lost all the time, but in year eight, you only get lost a bit, and by year ten, you know where to find all the rooms immediately and new timetables is barely a big thing at all.
Anyway, balancing equations is FUN. :)

I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH DUKE OF EDINBURGH, coz my friend says she's quitting, and my other friend says "If you're not doing it, I'm not doing it" (to her), and it's tonight in less than an hour and I phoned my friend and she didn't answer and I don't know and I don't know if they'll be there and I don't think so, and I have no contact with the other two in my group, I barely know them, they're my friend's friends, well one of them is and the other one is her friend, and . . . I don't know. My mum says just go tonight and see what's happening, but my friend could have said to the others me and *friend's name* aren't coming, and they could have said well then we're not coming, and maybe nobody'll be there . . . And my mum says I could maybe join another group but NO because you know it's all people from school and yeah and yeah and even if tehy're nice people they're all with their friends and it would be awkward and if tehy're not doing it I'm not doing it but I like D of E and arghhhhhhhh.
So basically, I think I'm going tonight, but nobody might be there, so I won't be able to do anything or anything and will just be sitting on the field all on my own and it'll be scary and lonely and people running it will notice probably and I'm scared of them as well, and yeah, and I DON'T WANT TO GO.
I don't want to quit D of E, but if everyone else is then I don't want to continue, and I was only ever good at map reading anyway . . . I don't like sports of volunteering and I'm scared of asking people to do things for me like tick me off.
So, you know.
But I don't know.

Seriously though Johnathon, I think I depicted the power of the Reaper pretty well, or I underestimated it. They are immensely powerful creatures and that was ONE. I have to try and defeat an entire RACE of them.

The Dark Shadow... it's hard to explain. It isn't a mortal being. It feeds off death and hatred and anger and sorrow and fear and everything bad.
It is kind of PURE Necromancy. It is the reason why Necromancers can control the shadows - it's like their bridge between themselves and their magic. IT can control them, but they can't control it.
Any darkness it can use as its tool. It can teleport into any shadow, anywhere, anywhen. It can also clone itself in the darkness (as I said, not a mortal being - it is everywhere and everywhen at the same time. It just chooses to be seen in certain areas to interact).
It CAN be defeated. Cannot be killed, but defeated. If something hurts it, it adapts and becomes immune. Like it has already become immune to some magical attacks, light and gunfire. So the more you fight it, the more it adapts and the stronger it becomes. It also can absorb magic and use it to launch more powerful attacks.

The Mirror of Erised can u not
Johnathon, and the reason why it's called The Dark Shadow is the form it chooses to take. It's a roughly humanoid figure, but made of living shadows. It has white triangular eyes and sharp teeth. It chooses the form because it scares people and it gets stronger with the more fear it receives.
Its powers are based on darkness and shadows, too. ^^

Well, I can say that Ariana is gorgeous because all of her clothes in performance are made for the purpose of making her look good, she puts effort into being healthy, and she probably also has a team of make up artists.
And her voice, well, I love her voice.
It's spectacular.
But she's also been singing and acting professionally for... Must be six or seven years now.
So that's probably why.
Yeah, Adra, I'm constantly busy. I've got five minutes to myself now to have an ice-cream before I start on philosophy...!
I know, I'm loaded with homework as well...
It's not just homework for me, haha! I start at 9 and get home around 5 most days, and then there's ITS... >->

I WAS JUST LAUGHING AT HOW I SAID THAT THE BLOG HAD MADE ME THINK OF MY EVENING MEAL AS DINNER NOW, AND THEN THE YORKSHIRMINIONS WERE ALL LIKE "NO IT IS CALLED TEA WE MUST GET STAR TO CALL IT TEA AGAIN". :P AND THEN I REALISED THAT LAUGHING REALLY LOUD WAS A BAD THING WHEN PEOPLE WERE MEANT TO BE TRYING TO GET TO SLEEP. ALTHOUGH MY SISTER AND BROTHER ARE PROBABLY BOTH STILL READING. BOTH MY SISTER AND BROTHER READ AFTER TURNING THE LIGHT OFF LIKE I USED TO DOOOOOO.

And, anyway. Everyone was at Duke of Edinburgh so that was good, nobody had dropped out (alhtough one came so close I was recycling all my best encouragement metaphors and badly adapting thme for her quitting situation. She thought I was odd, but that's normal :)), BUT apparently our route cards are irreadable so we have to redo them.
In other words, the route cards /I/ spent literal hours working on are irreadable because of my atrocious handwriting, and /I/ have to redo them.
You know, the problem is with letting one person do all the work is that when they screw up, you all get dragged down.
So I'm a bit irritated that I not only had to do the route cards mostly myself (people were helping on a large part of it, but I still had to do the tricky part al on my own), I have to REDO them by myself.
Ha, it was nice, though. I went "Someone else has to take the route cards to be checked. I did them, so I shouldn't have to do it."
I love that argument. :)
I should just, like, do everything all the time, so then I don't have to do anything. :)

They're the ones named "The Dark Shadow" and "The Diary". The Dark Shadow is set in 1891 and features a detective. The Diary is set in the present day in Iran, involving a government department whose job it is to eliminate mages who pose a threat.
