Today is my first free day in... days. Which doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is! Today I bought groceries! GROCERIES! Oooooh!
I've had a few days of highly successful signings, and when I say highly successful, I mean they went on for WAY longer than expected. That kinda drains when they come one after another, but I manage to keep my energy up by soaking up the pain and anguish LSODM has caused you. So it's all good.
Now, fair enough, these three don't look PARTICULARLY traumatised, but I assure you they were crying on the inside.
And this Minion had to put her pain down on canvas in order to deal!
And this one gave me cake! CAKE!
And now that I have a few days off before the Manchester and Liverpool signings this Saturday, what am I going to do?
That's right, I'm going to plot out Book Nine, and discover new ways to ruin your happiness.

Zaf... I was never on when Derek commented. I mean, I've only ever seen him comment twice. Just be happy that you actually got to meet your idol. And be glad he is your idol. Even though it feels like he's slipping away. Maybe it's a good thing that he's too busy to come on. It means he's gaining more fame, he's getting where he should be. I'm not trying to be mean, but Derek isn't going to come on because a few teenagers want him to. And I'm not saying you're the average teenager, because all of you are so talented and extraordinary.

When I went to the signing, just as I was leaving, I yelled, "I BETTER SEE YOU ON THE BLOG MORE, LANDY!"
And, maybe this wasn't because of my statement, maybe he didn't even hear me, but he kind of smiled sadly and continued on with the signing.
I don't know what's going on, but Derek is a bestseller. Skulduggery is more famous than ever before. Dammit, he has to write the last book of the Skulduggery series. He knows that it has to be good. It has to be better than the other books by far. It has to be the absolute best it can be. There's probably so much pressure on Derek to write Book 9 right now, that he probably barely has enough time to think.
I just hope he isn't struggling /:

I swear to God, Derek is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I cried in the car going home, after the signing. He spoke to me like I was his friend.
And as for One Direction, as soon as they came on stage at that concert, you could tell they were genuine. A girl was crying, and Liam reached down and hugged her and said, "don't cry, we love you."
And Little Mix are some of the sweetest, most admirable girls ever.
There are so many people who are in it for the fame. But the majority aren't.

If you can present something with nothing they have ever seen before, they are likely to remember it, especially if they are of the mind that they have already seen everything. Aretha's strategy is to write to her favorite authors on aged parchment with an inkwell pen, then sealing her letters with sealing wax. I daresay if someone received such a letter, even if the aforementioned person was a celebrity, they would likely be unable to forget it.
