Today is my first free day in... days. Which doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is! Today I bought groceries! GROCERIES! Oooooh!
I've had a few days of highly successful signings, and when I say highly successful, I mean they went on for WAY longer than expected. That kinda drains when they come one after another, but I manage to keep my energy up by soaking up the pain and anguish LSODM has caused you. So it's all good.
Now, fair enough, these three don't look PARTICULARLY traumatised, but I assure you they were crying on the inside.
And this Minion had to put her pain down on canvas in order to deal!
And this one gave me cake! CAKE!
And now that I have a few days off before the Manchester and Liverpool signings this Saturday, what am I going to do?
That's right, I'm going to plot out Book Nine, and discover new ways to ruin your happiness.

Star, in reply to what you said before about preferring sad endings, I think I do too. Happy endings are a bit too like... predictable? If there IS a happy ending I like to see the characters have to fight for it, but sadder endings, at least for me, have the better effect.

@Dragona: Happy endings . . . often I just get mad at them for unrealisticality. :P Sadder endings DO have better effect, and also they generate a greater emotional reaction. Plus, when it's a happy ending, people are often disappointed, because it doesn't really end very strongly; unhappy endings are kind of like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO *sobbing*, but they work better. :)
This is generalising and opinion, btw. There will obviously be many exceptions and disagreements.
@Mara: I don't like chewing the actual nail, beacuse it gets all rough edges and goes all soft and aren't as useable and also the rough edges annoys me. HOWEVER, when I think they're getting too long (I like my nails short. Long nails just go bendy breaky plus you can't get dirt out of them, plus rockclimbing is easier with short fngernails. If they're long, it's harder to grip and also SCRAPE), which I'll usually notice when I'm sitting bored somewhere, I will tend to bite them shorter rather than waiting. :P

Star, I agree. I did make the ending to my ME story happy but if you noticed Thomson got shot several times, the SF-2 Falcon was practically destroyed and there was lots of death so in a way it wasn't that happy.
@Mara: *giggles* I have a list for my playlists, and on it are the playlists I have and the playlists I want to do. I have three completed playlists on it, one playlist that's on hiatus, four that I'm currently working on, and TWENTY-ONE that I want to create at some point. XD
So I'll add Avril Lavigne on, but she'll be number thirty atm (I change the numbers round to fit), so it might be a bit of a wait. A bit being literal years. XD

I think I only playlist beacuse I have a compulsion to COMPLETE. It's why I don't give up on some things. Like when my friend's hair grip fell into the drain that the water from the showers in the changing rooms goes into. I was really stubborn about trying t get that out, not really because I wanted to get it out, but beacuse I wanted to do it and have the satisfaction of having done it.
What drives me on is the need to complete. I think about the numbers and I want to get them higher. I stare at the numbers and the names of songs and my playlist list as if I can do it with willpower. It's . . . completion.
Sometimes when we do tasks at school, nobody else really cares much, but I want to get it all done properly, and . . . yeah.
I'm a very reward-seeking person. I want feelings of satisfaction and well dones. XD
*frowns* I bring practically everything I say into an analysis of myself. Even saying this is bringing what I was saying into an analysis of myself; specifically, how I analyse myself.
