My editor has been asking me for a synopsis for ages now. They need it so that they can send it to sites like Amazon, so they can put it up to inform people what it is they'll be buying. I took a few minutes today to write it, and before I go to bed tonight, I figured my Minions deserved to see it first.
Last Stand of Dead Men:
War has finally come.
But it's not a war between good and evil, or light and dark- it's a war between Sanctuaries. For too long now, the Irish Sanctuary has teetered on the brink of world-ending disaster, and the other Sanctuaries around the world have had enough. Allies turn to enemies, friends turn to foes, and Skulduggery and Valkyrie must team up with the rest of the Dead Men if they're going to have any chance at all of maintaining the balance of power and getting to the root of a vast conspiracy that has been years in the making.
But while this war is only beginning, another war rages within Valkyrie herself. Her own dark side, the insanely powerful being known as Darquesse, is on the verge of rising to the surface. And if Valkyrie slips, even for a moment, then Darquesse will burn the world and everyone in it.

One Direction are my idols.
I, personally, am crying just thinking about them, and everything they've done to help everyone. I love One Direction, which I hope is plainly obvious. And after seeing their 1D3D trailer, I broke down sobbing. I only cry with happiness if I watch 1D videos, and that's why I love my boys.
I was on my bed, bawling my eyes out. It just... It amazes me to think that 5 boys, just doing what they love, made me feel that way about them. I've only been a Directioner a year in July, but I still love them. A lot. :)
When I was accepted into the 1DFamily, it was an amazayn feeling. Being accepted into a thing as huge as that was... extraordinHarry! :) I have lots of 1Derful Directionsisters - Lou, Eleanna, Kathleen, Katie, etc - and they are so Paulfect. I love them so much :)
It never really sunk in that I saw One Direction. I mean, I was in the same room as them... within 5 meters of them! It's scary. I actually cried at the concert...! I was overwhelmed (THE WAY THAT YOU FLIP YOUR HAIR GETS ME OVERWHELMED!<3 ;D) and I don't know why... :P
I might've said before, Gotta Be You was the first 1D song I ever heard when I became a Directioner. Of course I had heard of WMYB, but Gotta Be You was the song I chose to listen to when I became a Directioner. And it's still my favourite song, along with WMYB, Moments, Little Things and Over Again :) Oh, and Kiss You!
These boys make me feel beautiful! :) They actually do. And through music. If I had never heard 1D and never became a Directioner, I would be upstairs, boooooored. And I wouldn't be as close to my best friends as I am now. You could say One Direction brought us together :) Ciara and I are Directioner buddies! :D We're going to the concert together :)
If I never was a Directioner, I would've never found this blog. When I found 1D's website, it got me wondering if Derek had a website. I found the Skulduggery Pleasant website, and then Derek's blog. And then I found all you guys! :D
One Direction have changed my life hugely. So, Directionhaters, listen up. There was a girl who got bullied for being a Directioner. She hung herself while listening to Little Things.
Another boy was bullied for liking 1D. He shot himself.
I hate talking about this stuff, but that's the truth. And it's a horrible truth. I do get bullied for liking 1D. But I keep my head held high because maybe, one day, I'll get to meet these boys. And maybe, just maybe, they'll thank me for sticking with them and going through everything for them. :)
