I think my random laughing could actually have been Hunter affecting my brain. Because I think about Hunter feeling not great much fairly regulary (er), and he wasn't feeling too good today and yesterday (he got all depressed over Star Wars. Because I'd just been watching Star Wars and was sad about it, so he was really upset about it), so when I wasn't feeling great my brain could have subconsciously linked me up to the ordinary way I react when I'm not feeling great (I don;t know what that is, incidentally. And thinking about it too hard is just depressing XD), and then got mixed up with how Hunter is when he's not feeling great (because that occupies my brain much more), so then it could have told my subconscious to act like Hunter could act, and so maybe that's why I suddenly started laughing. Because my making Hunter do that consciously had eventually convinced my subconscious that this was a normal reaction and made me do it.
Or being unwell simply made me feel odd. Yeah, that theory is much simpler. XD
I find it actually scary though, that my characters can take over my brain . . . D:

All this talking about my subconscious changing my conscious and my conscious persuading my subconscious is making me sound like Artemis Fowl. :P
He worked out in a few seconds that the only way he could overcome the mind-wipe was to persaude his subconscious that 'this' (please don't make me explain 'this') was real; so long as he didn't believe it his memories would stay locked. If he persuaded his subconscious it was real his subconscious would let his conscious remember; because he still had the memories locked in his subconscious, but his conscious couldn't access them.
Artemis explained it better than I did. It was still confusing though. :P Just not as confusing.
