Hi all,
Just a quick note to point out two slight time changes to the UK dates- at Southampton and Guildford- to make sure that readers have enough time to get to the events.
For the Irish dates, we're checking when most schools are back in Kilkenny and Newbridge. Both signings were originally scheduled to happen in the middle of the day- but if the schools are back in session by then, we might move those start times to 3 PM. I'll keep you posted.
Oh, and for all those people asking for a Belfast signing, you now have your wish...

And then you have to consider how many people there are from here who would do something like that - one, if any. And in addition, how many would do that targeting Dannielle? None. Therefore, my current theory is that it is a set up. Nothing more.)

@Keiron What exactly would the tracking entail? Because if it's tracking the email, then tracking Bloglandians and seeing what matches, I'm against that. If you can do anything with just the email, I'm not.
However, this is just my opinion. I think that you should do what Rose says, since she's the one involved.
Well, I might have come off as uncaring but that's just because I was too busy crying.
(email would get me as far as seeing who's computer it came from, and then it would be a matter of matching the dots aka using others to see if it was them. now if they were smart they could make it look like any one of you done it... so ? but you should be able to see it was bounced at which point you find the computer it was bounced from showing you where it came from, which I know could be technically a large amount of people but since I could narrow it down to same ip then i should be able to, probably. they could be smarter than me with it though as well, I don't pretend to know everything about it.)
(only the email would get me just their ip aka vicinity of, with no general idea of who it was unless I looked at others to match i, or unless I looked up where the ip matches to... which would kinda entail a country, state or even address, I don't recommend going that far tbh because the only reason I learned was to stop people hacking me. or sending anonymous threats, it's surprising how much someone is scared of you for pulling them up about something you shouldn't have been able to know.)
Honestly, the whole "matching the dots" idea kinda raises a red flag for me. It also seems inefficient.

I think if we can expose them, we should . . . like, it is NOT OKAY to do that kind of thing, and I don't want them go just think they can do it and get away with it.
I don't mean we shoulX metaphorically burn them at the stake - but I think it would be good if we knew their identity so when they metaphorically look us in the eyes they have to know that we are looking back with our knowledge of their actions in our gaze.
Whereas if they don't get their anonymity destroyed, they will face no consequences and therefore may think it's safe to do it again .
So yeah. That's why I would give Conductor permission to hack me and them, but I can't give him permission (well . . . not permission. I don't own Conductor. More like an a-okay) to hack them because it's not my call.

@Lav: Eh, I dob't believe in hurting people just for a sense of satisfaction. Like - exposing the person will hurt the person, so I wouldn't (publicly) expose them just to satisfy my curiosity (privately, I might). But I think they /should/ be exposed. So that's why I want to expose them.

By the time I replied asking for the email of who sent it cause I was looking for details (and was about to book a flight to Australia.)
Rose had mailed me back from a mail I sent her 2 nights ago.
When the fake account finally replied to me, I had let Rose know and she emailed the fake account. I asked who it was but I had gotten no reply and Rose was told that it was a social experiment.
I then told Rose to forget about it, that I would let you lot know and just move on so I never mailed further to investigate.

@Emerald: Mmmmmmmmh I can easily imagine people just doing it because they're curious and it's safe and they can get away with it. When you can get away with doing things, it's very tempting not to do them. I could easily imagine myself doing a similar social experiment. Not that I would - I don't think - but it's the kind if thing I can imagine me doing. Whereas if it was a prank as opposed to a social experiment, I would be like "WHY THE FUCK WOULD ANY ONE DO THAT" and couldn't imagine myself ever doing that. From memory, no, it wasn't. The nasty Noelle comments were done with a lack of grammar, I remember. Whereas the email Kas showed us was perfectly gator ally xoxo etc, as well as much more formal.
