Her phone buzzed in her pocket, but the blaring noise was drowned out by the insufferable roar of the crowd. She glanced at the LCD touchscreen. The phone was ancient. Most nowadays were paper thin, and could display holograms of the people you were talking to. She tapped a button, turning off the alarm that had woke her that morning.

they light up your way and show dangerous paths, which you shouldnt take. Same with friends, they help you through the tough times and help you avoid them. But sometimes, the lighthouses fail. You could get lost and hurt yourself. Emotionally or Phsyically. Sometimes, the lighthouses dont come back on, and they represent the "friends" that arent worthy of your friendship. And after a while, you relise the lighthouse isnt on, and go searching for a way to turn it back on. When it turns back on, youve found another light, to help you once more, which represents a person who is worthy of your friendship. But even if the light is off for a long time, dont lose hope, cuz there is always someone there to turn it on.
