The fact that I can't visit EVERYWHERE is always a shame, but we do try and spread the love as much as possible. This time around, my publishers took into account that I'd be in Australia/NZ for the previous two weeks, so I reckon they took pity on me. Maybe it was all the manly crying I did. We'll never know...
Eagle-eyed Irish readers may also have noticed that I shall be appearing on the "Celebrity Mastermind" quiz show, starting on TV3 this Sunday. I'm not sure what episode I'm on (I think it airs on July 1st but I'm not sure). For those who don't know, Mastermind is a show where you are asked questions about a chosen topic, and then you're asked general knowledge questions. I'm not going to say ANYTHING about what happened (we recorded it a few weeks ago) so you'll just have to watch to see how well I did. Or not, as the case may be. Ahem.

Helloe My fellow Landy fans. I am posting a comment that is very important to me and while i am a new poster, i would appreciate it greatly if some of you would take the time out of your day to read what i am saying now, as it could drastically change my life forever. Months ago i was given a assignment in english in which i had to write a story. I myself am a avid reader and took the time to create a story that i had been thinking of for quite some time. what i did not expect is that by the end of four days i would have written fourty pages of my story, which in my eyes was severely condensed. i would then hand in the story and get very positive feedback from my teacher, but he would none the less tell me to cut the lengh next time. i didnt think anything of it for quite some time. however weeks later my aunt would be visiting and would be using my laptop to do some things while she was over for the day. while she was using my laptop she accidently opened the word document of my story and would read it. around a hour later my aunt would confront with amazement in her voice saying that this was the best story she had ever read. i did not think much of what my teacher had to say because i ussally got very high marks and thought that it was not anything above my standard par of work. however my aunt has a degree in eglish and used to write articles for papers and such, and is one of the smartest people i know. now this piqued my attention. now months later i finally have gathered the courage to post a part of my story, a prologue, to give my fellow readers a sneak peak into the world i have created. if you have read this much so far then i realize i must have interested you slightly so there should be no harm in proposing you to read part of my story. it is only a sneak peak, and if feedback is positive i will upload a little more.http://www.booksie.com/fantasy/short_story/johnstorm/the-storm-prologue/chapter/1. once again, all feedback is welcome, and please enjoy your day, my fellow minions.

Blogland has fallen apart, people are taking sides and saying awful things about each other. I fear the problem cannot be reconciled. I don't know if they can ever learn to tolerate one another as a minimum - let alone be friends. Derek, if you only knew. Some of the websites and viscous emails that have been circulated by both sides. It's quite horrific, I'd say some of it equates to cyber-bullying. People have left because of this, people are leaving still. The chat system used by bloggers created a hierarchy with in us which lead to people looking down on others, abuse of power, and those being looked down on desperately fighting to be heard.
I haven't been online much recently due to my exams and to return to find blogland in such turmoil and chaos... Well, it's not a place I want to be any more.
I won't leave, because that means they have driven me away and the only untainted people left frequent here. Emerald, Cat, Luciana, Sir R, Val V, Zafira, Star, Lavender and a few more... They are the people I choose now.
All I can say Derek, is a lot of your minions have failed you.
