Righto, I can finally reveal the details for the A/NZ Down Under Tour. Most of the days will be taken up visiting schools, so I'm only listing the public events which will occur in the evenings and at the weekends.
For the public signings, all you have to do is turn up and I'll sign as much as possible in the time I have- but for the public events, it might be a good idea to contact the bookshop/library/whatever as soon as possible, in order to book a place.
The Ireland and UK details will be posted when I have them.
Oh, and for those of you who entered the little short story competition on the Skulduggery website, I've just read through the finalists (30 of them) and the winners will be announced before the weekend. Some truly great work in there...

He looked at the figure in the long, black, hooded cloak. A fringe of purple hair covered their eyes but he could see their mouth which formed a small, cold, cruel smile.
They spread their arms and the black hall fell away and the black bricks formed an impossibly large staircase that spiralled upwards and down and the figure was carried away from him. Shadows fell on the path from no light source as the staircase hung in nothing, suspended in shadows and time. The gloom closed in so that each step was almost invisible in the darkness.
It seemed a long way up and a long we down.
He gulped.
Then started to run up the twisting road...

It's not really SUPPOSED to be scary. But then, my parents have been flinching whenever a wolf pounces on someone and you can see them ripping your insides out.
It's not a horror, not really a thriller. It's just very wolfy.

Chapter 2- The Learning Process
Simon started the morning on a bad note. He woke from a nightmare, but couldn’t remember what this one was, which wasn’t normal. Usually he remembered his dreams, and most of them were of fire. He had a nagging feeling this dream was different.
He got some breakfast, and did little else. He eventually got into a fight with his mother, which ended up with her storming out of the room, and Simon walking to school instead of being driven. So, of course, he was late for his first day.
Simon walked through the doors. It wasn’t a huge school, but it was big enough for over a thousand students. Immediately, a teacher came up to him and demanded to know why he was late. After trying to explain that he had to walk (which was a ‘likely excuse’), that he was new (which ‘wasn’t good enough’) and that he was only late by fifteen minutes (apparently, ‘time is money’, and if you argue against that point, you’re ‘on your way to a detention’) he finally got to class.
I'm intrigued!!
