I know we have a few readers in Christchurch who read this blog, so I'm glad to be able to visit after missing out last time around. And I know most of you in Adelaide and Perth were CONVINCED I wasn't going to get anywhere near you (especially you guys in Perth) so, y'know... this tour's for you!

I'm great! Our place has two pianos and the one downstairs is in better tune (which is not saying much) so I was playing it!
I love having a real piano.... :)))))
And my grandma was really impressed becAuse she only hears me at lessons because I don't play much when she's at our house because I'd rather spend time with her so she only hears me learning things so she thought I wasn't very good and she was super surprised when I started playing XD
The piano is a player piano so if you put the special paper music in and pedal on the levers that come out it plays for you. Ours is broken (the music doesn't rotate by itself) but I convinced my dad to try out so he just spun the music himself and it was so weird!! And the lyrics were next to it so we were singing and it was really funny.
Then I wanted to play heart and soul but no body else can play piano but my brother had started on piano before going to ukulele and so I tried to show him how to do it but he just pounded on it while I played the melody and it sounded really awful and we were cracking up

It’s a dark night and the street is empty.
A young girl walks alone along it, hands in the pockets of her far too big hoodie and feet shuffling along.
She pauses under a streetlamp and looks up, sighing to herself.
“I use to know this place so well…” She mutters, dejectedly. “How did it change so much? When did… When did I stop caring?”
She continues with her walk, looking around her fondly, wistfully, tiredly.
The town she knew so well had changed so much.
There, that house right over the road, was where Mr and Mrs Joans used to live. Now, it was empty and bored up.
How could she have let this happen to the place she loved so very much?

Somewhere along in all the pain and misery of all the fights, she had forgotten about the amazing place behind the words.
And now, it was too late.
Too late to go back, too late to save what she wished so dearly she could.
Letting out a mother ragged sigh, she moved on into the night. Away from the empty, ghost town. Away from the shells of houses.Away from the past.
And away from the blood, slowly pooling on the ground near the body she had left behind her.
I don't know what exactly that was, Shadow, but whatever it was, it was very well written.
