To be completely honest with you, I kind of like the controlled assessments. I thoroughly enjoyed writing a story and an essay on Romeo And Juliet! They were plenty of fun to write, believe it, or not. :)
We do Of Mice And Men, by John Steinbeck! T'is a good book, but after the hundredth time, it begins to bore me...And we couldn't do Blood Brothers, we have to do Heroes, by Robert Cormier...It's...Ever so slightly inappropriate in an unwanted way, if you get what I mean...?
I dont mind 'interesting' parts in a book. So long as it is necessary to be there. But if it's there just for the sake of being there, it's like Okay that didnt need to be there.
It's not that it wasn't necessary or anything...It was supposed to be a book for children...but was definitely not innocent. *is trying to think of a way of saying it, without saying it...* It's inappropriate to say here, anyway...Maybe for our age it's not a weird thing to here, but it isn't a nice word...Let's call it an attack on Nicole. Nicole is one of the three main characters and Larry (an old-ish man) attacks her...And I just hate reading that part of the book, because I have an overactive imagination...¬_¬
