Although the day BEFORE that I got to see all my nieces in their Halloween costumes (because I won't be seeing them at Halloween). Rebecca was dressed as a witch. Emily was a bumblebee. Sophie was a pig. And Clara... Clara was a skeleton, because she KNOWS who's going to be giving her the best presents when she's older. When I have pictures, I'll be sure to post them.
And what did I GET for my birthday, you ask? Well... um... okay, see, when I say it aloud, it doesn't sound that impressive, but basically I got some photographs in nice frames...
God that sounds boring.
But I really am the WORST person to buy for, as Laura was complaining to me last night. Everything I want, I pretty much have already- so what is there left to get me except really odd things that I'd never think of? See?
But some of you guys here, and at the Forum and the Facebook page, did all the celebrating for me, which was really nice of you. In particular, I'm thinking of Valkyrie V, who actually had a party with a CAKE. And Val V, I hope you don't mind, but I just HAD to post a pic of it.
I'm not really sure what Polar Bear Girl has to do with Skulduggery, but I like her style nonetheless. These guys really went out of their way to celebrate poor old Skulduggery's deathday, and they are all astonishingly sloppy eaters...

The Ameriminions competition is now over! I have been HUGELY impressed with your entries. They have been cool, atmospheric, creepy, action-packed, sinister, and funny- sometimes all at once! Now I have the quite enjoyable job of going through them all and picking the line that is best suited to the story I want to tell.

Well, you know how i said i bet that someone would sing 1D? Well, none of the students did. Unfortunatly, the teachers decided to chip in at the start
They didn't sing it, just played to song. Then 5 of the teachers, dressed up as the people in 1D started to do the worst dancing every seen. One of them was the principal, who's got to be pushing 55. Just sad...
Anywho, it got better from there. There was this girl who could damn well sing, two guys in my year level who could dance, but they ruined it by trying and failing to break dance at the end (they had a song playing for a small part of the dance. Starships were meant to flyyyy. Thought you get a kick out of that). There were a couple of bands who weren't to bad, but a few singers who couldn't be heard. Whispering singers. And a "meh" funny performance. Meh meaning it was worth a couple of laughs. And they had K-Star at the end, which is always worth watching. You know K-Star, that dance group a few years back on Australia's Got Talent? They should've got in. Anywho, a lot of them go to my school, and they dance at the end. K-Srat weren't as good as they were last year, but better then all the other performances. But it was so damn hot and crowded that i was to sick of it by the end to care

You know, I just discovered I have the occasional stutter today. I don't like it. It kicks in whenever I say something that is just so purely awesome and witty it must be executed perfectly and cannot be repeated. Poor me.

Magic: Adept
She can make everyone see her as their worst fear, like an illusion. When she decides to transform her appearance ( just an illusion) one person might see her as a spider, if that's their worst fear, another might see her as a snake, another might see her as a dementor, boggart boggart boggart. You know what I'm talking about, right?
Weapons: Her sharp teeth and sharp nails. She likes to call them fangs and claws, and this results in chronic eye-rolling for everyone within a ten metre radius. If, for some reason, she cannot use her primary weapons, she will resort to the meagre millions of weapons stashed in her hair. It's awesome.
Personality: Eve never takes things seriously. She never thinks about the possibility of death, and everything she does is for the hell of it. She finds arguments extremely funny to watch, but if someone who is wrong thinks they are right, she will not stop until that poor mind is changed. If she finds herself in a situation where she is wrong, she will string some words together and act like they make sense. She doesn't pay attention to conversations that don't involve her, and that seems to annoy some people. Yes, some would say she was slightly 'absent'. She knows this and loves to confuse new acquaintances with her nonsense.
Appearance: Light brown hair ending at the shoulders, blue eyes. Reasonably tall. Yeah.
History: *royal trumpet* Eve doesnt say much about her history. Here's what we know:
She used to live in a happy family of five and a dog, then she suddenly got shot through a crazy mazy cannon all the way to Kenya. She lived with the lions, lived ON an elephant, then gave up on the whole land thing and hopped on a giant vulture called Mimi. And off to Australia they went! She migrates from place to place now, helping people out on their adventures and shouting at kids who can't spell 'humongous'.
Or so she says.
She also claims to be a werewolf.
