The Birthday Girl

You know what today is?

Today is Laura's birthday. She's 23. And how is she spending her special day?

Studying for college exams.

Laura hates studying, she LOATHES studying, and earlier on she apologised to me for being in a grumpy mood. But the fact is, she should be celebrating today- instead, she's feeling miserable. How can you make her feel better?

I think that a few birthday wishes from my loyal Minions may just raise a smile on her face...

Poor Mary.

Aquila, ours is no different to yours, I've tried both.

*waves hand and Stereotyping disintergrates*

It CAN be killed :P

Ours is the same, or better than yours, you just can't face it because stereotyping has washed over your oppinion, and now it's dead :P

Oh, that's why I that scared or something feeling...

Mary Hiashi said...

*I got that scared...

# In the Philippines, pandesal (or pan de sal; literally, bread of salt or salt bread) is a rounded bread usually eaten by Filipinos during breakfast.
# Germany prides itself on having the largest variety of breads worldwide. More than 300-500 basic kinds of bread come together with more than 1,000 types of small bread-rolls and pastries. It has been estimated that the basic kinds of bread are so widely varied by more than 16,000 local bakeries that more than 1,000 different breads have been presented at a 2005 Cologne bread show.[13] Germans are worldwide the biggest consumers (per capita) of bread followed by Chile.
Thanks, Wikipedia.
*stereotype revives*
I won't let you kill this one...
(...since it's a lot fun to protect it)

^^

We're having a tetanus shot in Feburary or March, apparantly you need it in year 9, everyone needs it... my friends are making a big thing of it and I'm like "It's a NEEDLE, what's it going to do?"

Dragona Pine said...

Aquila, it's a pile of dust on the floor, you can't revive it. The Magic Yorkshire Pudding's effects are permenant unless it chooses otherwise, it's dead.

Mary Hiashi said...

Well, you did give us gingerbread...I love gingerbread soooo much.

Mary Hiashi said...

I apparantly was way overdue for my shot.

Dragona Pine said...

Ours is still better but you just can't face it, just ignore stereotyping now it's dead and just stop arguing. I have tried German bread and it is no different to ours... I promise you Aquila, they are both the same. Can we stop arguing now? You think you have the best bread although ours and yours are the same... just admit it.

Aquila Felis said...

It's a German stereotype. It can't be killed by a Yorkshire Pudding but only by a statistic or Wikipedia. :P

But I'll stop arguing, I promise.
*Hides little stereotype under her blanket*

Mary Hiashi said...

I find that needles never hurt when you get them, but after. Why?!

And I get to go get X-Rays in a few days. Fun.

Dragona Pine said...

It can be killed by a Yorkshire Pudding, it can kill anything, do anything and break any protection... it's dead.

Dragona Pine said...

I find needles don't hurt any time.

I had an Xray on my toe when I broke it.

Mary Hiashi said...

Is Yorkshire pudding like bread pudding or something? Or are ya'll trying to mess with my brain? I wouldn't put it past you.

Aquila Felis said...

*listens to little stereotype, still whispering*
In that case ther's a ghost under my blanket :P

Dragona Pine said...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yorkshire_pudding

That's a yorkshire pudding but mine is magic.

Aquila Felis said...

I think needles don't hurt if you ignore them, at least ths works with me.

Dragona Pine said...

*sends the ghost of stereotyping to hell*

I told you... my magic yorkshire pudding can do anything.

Mary Hiashi said...

Everyone thinks we say 'eh' a lot and we have these wierd accents going on. We don't.

On the off note, I'd really love a poutine right now.

Dragona Pine said...

What's a poutine?

Aquila Felis said...

Now, that's a problem. I can't go to hell just to find it...
*devil dislikes stereotype, since it hasn't done something wrong*
*stereotype returns*
Oh, there you are!
*hugs stereotype, smiling*

Dragona Pine said...

*Dragona waves a hand and the stereotyping gets wiped from existance*

Mary Hiashi said...

That doesn't look all that appealing...

Dragona Pine said...

Now you can't go to nothing and rescue nothing because it doesn't exist any more and you can't bring it back :P

Dragona Pine said...

Yorkshire Puddings are just the best thing in the world.

Aquila Felis said...

*looks confused, hugging the air*
*remembers stereotype*
*stereotype is back again*
Those are tough little creatures, you know? Just let it live, it doesn't do any harm.

Mary Hiashi said...

http://www.homersteinweiss.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/poutine.jpg

That's a poutine.

Dragona Pine said...

Urr... you can't bring something back now it's permanantly wiped from existance Aquila...

*she continues hugging the air*

Mary Hiashi said...

You can get poutine all over Canda but the best place to get it would probably be from Quebec. Probably.

Yay Quebecois!

Dragona Pine said...

Poutine just looks like chips and gravey :S

Aquila Felis said...

Ehm, this poutine looks... interesting. May I ask: what is it?

Mary Hiashi said...

Fries, cheese, and gravy.

Mary Hiashi said...

You guys have ketchup chips where you are right? Or butter tarts?

Dragona Pine said...

So it's a cross between cheesey chips (american) and chips and gravey (english) how very... *coughs* not orignal *coughs* of you :P

Aquila Felis said...

So it's a fastfood in a way? My favourite fastfood is Döner.
http://www.nrw-fun-clan.de/images/news-pics/388_1269034388.jpg

Dragona Pine said...

Ketchup Chips? We have Ketchup ON chips but not all the time. We have other things like salt, pepper, vinegar, mayonaise, cheese, gravey and lots of other things.

Aquila Felis said...

Brr, vinegar...

Mary Hiashi said...

And totens are wierd...By the by.

Dragona Pine said...

That looks DISCUSTING Aquila, how can you eat it? It's like a huge giant Cornish Pasty!

Aquila Felis said...

What's a toten? (Sounds pretty much like the german weard for death)

Mary Hiashi said...

No, not chips as in fries. Chips as in potato chips...

Dragona Pine said...

You can't go wrong with Fish and Chips... how British of me.

Dragona Pine said...

Lol Aquila, it's poison!

Mary, so you mean crisps?

Aquila Felis said...

Well, it's not exactly a perfect picture...
In fact I really love it. Meat, cucumber, tomato, salad and onion in a bread... mmmm.

Dragona Pine said...

So in other words it's Nachos.

Mary Hiashi said...

Ooh, that looks tasty Aquila...

Dragona Pine said...

Aquila, *coughs* Cornish Pasty *coughs*

Mary Hiashi said...

Sure. I guess. We call them chips over here.

Dragona Pine said...

It's an oversized takeaway Cornish Pasty, you can't deny it.

Aquila Felis said...

Thanks Mary. Dragona seems to dislike it though...
By the way, Dragona, is it true that you eat crisps with vinegar?

Aquila Felis said...

Dragona, I just googled Cornish Pasty, and that's completly different.

Dragona Pine said...

This is confusing. Aquila likes Cornish Pasties and you like crisps but they're called by different names :S

Mary Hiashi said...

I LOVE Fish n' Chips. We have a restaurant not far down the road that's sells some AWESOME stuff...

Oh, and totens are a Newphie thing. Fried dough basically.

Aquila Felis said...

Your Cornish Pasty is more a Blätterteigtasche than a Döner.

Dragona Pine said...

No, we don't eat crisps with vinegar, we eat chips with vinegar, but we have Salt and Vinegar flavour crisps.

Mary Hiashi said...

*Giggles* Crisps...

Vinegar and ketchup on fries! Yes please. But I personaally just eat it with ketchup most of the time.

Dragona Pine said...

You steal our stuff and then call it by confusing and Blattersteighache names... Blattersheighe Blatestein... hang on, are any of them words?

Aquila Felis said...

Sounds like totens are comparable to Berliners or Krapfen.

Dragona Pine said...

Mary, try having Salt, pepper, ketchup and vinegar... it's really nice XD

Aquila Felis said...

Of course it's a word. And our Blätterteigtasche propably developed on it's one, since it's still different from yours.

Mary Hiashi said...

Ah! I'm miss-spelling things now! Mm...I like buffalo wing and blue cheese flavoured chips.

Dragona Pine said...

Did you just say Crap-flem Aquila? Crap is another word for poo (swearing-ish) and flem is that green stuff you get at the back of your throat when you have a cold.

Dragona Pine said...

Lol K/Crapflem.

Aquila Felis said...

How can you eeat something with vinegar?
Ich esse keinen Essig, ess ich Essig ess ich Essig im Salat.
A toung twister, basically saying: The only thing I'm eating vinegat with is salad.

Dragona Pine said...

Sounds funny...

Mary Hiashi said...

I don't add salt to anything really...Ooh! Also, papusas and quesadilla's are delicious.

Dragona Pine said...

Vinegar is nice... that's how.

Dragona Pine said...

I've heard of quesadillas but not papusas... are they like Enchiladas?

Aquila Felis said...

No, it's Krapfen. It sure as hell has nothing to do with this. Have a picture:
http://www.gh-jagerwirt.at/images/Anf/krapfen.jpg

Mary Hiashi said...

Why not have it with vinegar. 'Tis tasty!

Dragona Pine said...

Lol Aquila, the outside looks like crap and the inside looks like flem... very appropriate name :P

Mary Hiashi said...

No, papusas are sort of like...a pancake...So to speak.

Aquila Felis said...

papusas and quesadillas look pretty tasty.

Dragona Pine said...

K/Crapflem.

Dragona Pine said...

Like a Scotch Pancake or a British Pancake?

Aquila Felis said...

You can't even see the inside...
*looks confused*

Dragona Pine said...

Aquila, the top looks red and then the middle looks undercooked... crap and flem.

^Woah.

Papusas.

Mary Hiashi said...

Wait, how about this...

http://newyork.seriouseats.com/images/20080912PupusasCU.jpg

Aquila Felis said...

It's fried dough, Dragona. -.-

Dragona Pine said...

Papusas looks like Na'an bread with Omelette inside.

Dragona Pine said...

Or just like Garlic Bread.

Dragona Pine said...

I know Aquila, but it really does look like Krapflem :P

Dragona Pine said...

Lol Na'an bread with Omelette inside :P

Dragona Pine said...

Anyone on?

Dragona Pine said...

If you've left me, I'm leaving.

Aquila Felis said...

They taste pretty good, actually...

Mary Hiashi said...

I'm so excited,
And I just can't hide it...

Dragona Pine said...

Well they don't look it, no offense Aquila... is it like a cake? It looks like a cake which needs more time in the oven.

Dragona Pine said...

I like that song Mary, but it was even better on Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen when Bumblebee was dancing to it :P

Mary Hiashi said...

I like molasses cookies. I apparantly make the best ones.

Dragona Pine said...

Mary, do you like Na'an bread with Omelette inside... Papusas?

Mary Hiashi said...

I'm part of the Fallen...At least I will be. *Sighs*

Oh, and this is why I'm excited...

Dragona Pine said...

I am the best cook in the house but I let my parents cook most of the time... I like my Tiffin, Mini-carrot cakes and Scones, I'm baking a cake tomorrow in D&T.

Aquila Felis said...

It's kinda like a cake, but a lot smaller. And it isn't put in the oven, but fried. And we fill them with jam and call them Berliner. They are kinda a traditional food on carneval.
(You should be careful eating them on carneval though, cause some fill them with Ketchup instead, playing a trick on you).

Mary Hiashi said...

I...Umm...Don't quite know Dragona.

Mary Hiashi said...

LAugh

Mary Hiashi said...

Oh...

Dragona Pine said...

I have no interest in Dragonage Mary :P

Mary Hiashi said...

Ha! My page, Canada hereby rules this page. And don't you forget it.

Aquila Felis said...

*claps and gives Mary the your-the-first cake*

Aquila Felis said...

Oh, Dragona, did you see my answer? It's on the older page now...

Dragona Pine said...

I ruled the last one, and most of the last one as well because I was a loner for most of the time. And it is everyone's page... no one "rules" it, except for Derek because it is his blog :P

Mary Hiashi said...

That game is ADDICTING. I spent...Like at the very least a week (and I mean all 24/7) not continuously obviously...but...uh...playing the game.

Dragona Pine said...

I have Aquila, if I ever go to Germany I won't be having a ketchup one :P

Dragona Pine said...

I might go get some dinner soon... I don't know what I'll be having...

Dragona Pine said...

Hmm...

Mary Hiashi said...

Ya'll have butter tarts right?

Aquila Felis said...

If you ever go to Germany you'll have to tell me where.
*whispers*Go to the south-west*whispers*

Mary Hiashi said...

Dinner?! Soon????!!!!

Dragona Pine said...

Butter tarts? Do you mean Custard Pies, Manchester tarts?

Dragona Pine said...

Yes, it is nearly 12:00, dinner time.

Mary Hiashi said...

You mean lunch?

Dragona Pine said...

I have no plans on going to Germany yet Aquila, hey is it true if you put your finger below your nose like Hitler in Germany you would be beaten up?

Aquila Felis said...

It's 12:30, here.

Dragona Pine said...

No, I mean dinner.

Dragona Pine said...

It's 11:30 here.

Mary Hiashi said...

http://www.veganfamilyfavorites.com/images/desserts/vegan-butter-tarts-large.jpg

Dragona Pine said...

Hmm...

Aquila Felis said...

Depends on where you're doing it and who's next to you I guess...
Most people would just think that your an asshole, making fun of that bad part of our history and the victims, but they wouldn't beat you up.

Dragona Pine said...

Ooohh you mean Jam Tarts Mary?

Mary Hiashi said...

It's 6:30am here...I haven't gone to sleep yet...I'm going to have to though. Me brains startin' to hurt.

Dragona Pine said...

I don't mean I would do it, like if you had an itch and you were rubbing your nose you would be beaten up, we were talking about it the other day and we think it happens in Germany.

Dragona Pine said...

Lol Mary.

Mary Hiashi said...

No, jam tarts would imply that there is jam in the tarts. It's like...liquid caramel...almost as the filling.

Aquila Felis said...

Oh, a hurting brain... guess you really should have some sleep then...
*starts singing a lullaby*

Aquila Felis said...

Nobody would beat you up for scratching your nose. ^^

Dragona Pine said...

We don't have them Mary, we have Jam Tarts which are the same but with Jam in them but I've never heard of Caramel in the filling :S

Mary Hiashi said...

'Twas sad...The whole 9/11 subject gets brought up sometimes...

Dragona Pine said...

Now it's a Touch of Frost :S

That's good Aquila.

Dragona Pine said...

I haven't talked about 9/11.

Mary Hiashi said...

That's what I've heard. Canadians who have travelled around said that they couldn't find them much anywhere.

Dragona Pine said...

A dead body in a lake... how depressing :P

Dragona Pine said...

Aa Bb Cc Dd Ee Ff Gg Hh Ii Jj Kk Ll Mm Nn Oo Pp Qq Rr Ss Tt Uu Vv Ww Xx Yy Zz

Mary Hiashi said...

There still recovering from it...I remember how in school, when it happened...Basically the P.A. system went on and the principal or whoever said "I'm sorry to interupt...but the Twin Towers have just fallen, or something like that".

Dragona Pine said...

I don't think we have them Mary.

Aquila Felis said...

Ää Öö Üü ß

Dragona Pine said...

We heard it on the news the day after, we had no clue about it.

Dragona Pine said...

Don't you mean:

Aa Ee Ii Oo Uu

Aquila?

Mary Hiashi said...

Um, the or something like that was supposed to be outside of the " but hey...

Anyway, buenos noches mi amigos (I don't speak spanish, so please don't criticize me).

Aquila Felis said...

After 9/11 there was a pretty cruel phrase over here...
something like a 9/11 for every country, refering to our own 9/11.

Aquila Felis said...

No Dragona, I just wanted to add some letters you missed. ^^

Dragona Pine said...

I speak a small amount of spanish, I learn Spanish and French at school.

Aquila Felis said...

Bye Mary.

Mary Hiashi said...

I learned French...I'm taking Italian at some point though...'Kay, now good night!

Dragona Pine said...

I didn't miss them Aquila, I named each of hte 25 letters of the alphabet. They aren't even letters... I don't even know what they mean. I know the B means ss and that isn't a letter.

Dragona Pine said...

Bye Mary.

*26 letters.

Aquila Felis said...

It means sz, and it IS a letter. In fact it's the last letter of my name.

Dragona Pine said...

I'm going to go for some dinner in a bit so don't leave Aquila.

Dragona Pine said...

It isn't a letter, ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ is the alphabet, you germans making up letters when they don't exist...

Aquila Felis said...

I won't.

Dragona Pine said...

Good :)

Aquila Felis said...

It's not only us, but also the French or the Spanish. One could say that our languages have, at least, something special.

Dragona Pine said...

True, and can we stop talking about countries and everything? It doesn't matter what country we come from, we're all friends afterall.

Dragona Pine said...

Should I wait until my parents come home before having dinner or should I have it now? I'll wait for them, I think...

Aquila Felis said...

We can. I don't really care which country someone is from, too.

Aquila Felis said...

If you wait for them we've got more time to chat.^^

Dragona Pine said...

School tomorrow :(

Dragona Pine said...

Indeed, but they might say that I just go in my own little world when I'm on the laptop and didn't make dinner... I'll stay on here, but if they have had their lunch in town I'll just have it later.

Dragona Pine said...

I'll go make a drink so it looks like I've come off... brb.

Aquila Felis said...

Isn't it kinda strange that only two people are on on a weekend?

Dragona Pine said...

Back.

Dragona Pine said...

Yeh, it's weird... Kallista should be on in a few hours and so should some other people. But she won't be here tomorrow or tuesday because school is changing or something so I shall probably be left alone from like 7:30 onwards.

Dragona Pine said...

I'm in for several days of lonliness :(

Aquila Felis said...

Don't you have to go to school, too?
My parents wouldn't allow me to use ma computer before school...

Rosie said...

Hello! I've been lurking around here for a while, thought I'd stop by and introduce myself ;)
...Anyone home?

Dragona Pine said...

Of course I have to go to school, my parents let me on before school once I've done everyting to get ready, I meant 7:30 PM.

Dragona Pine said...

Hi Tosca.

Aquila Felis said...

I'm on. Hello Tosca.

Rosie said...

Hello! CC:

Dragona Pine said...

So people who are on at that time better not leave me.

Dragona Pine said...

How long have you been on here for Tosca? I mean like "lurking" lol.

Aquila Felis said...

Where are you from Tosca (just curious)?

Dragona Pine said...

Lol 1001 questions for Tosca day! :P

Dragona Pine said...

(Aquila really isn't a stalker)

Dragona Pine said...

Hmm...

Aquila Felis said...

(thanks Dragona ^^)

Dragona Pine said...

Lol.

Rosie said...

England :) I wouldn't mind living in Australia though. Not right now because of the flooding, but it seems like a really nice place to live.

Dragona Pine said...

Nice to have another Brit on Tosca :) I come from Yorkshire :)

Dragona Pine said...

Because I'm just good like that.

Aquila Felis said...

I'm a German from Swabia.

Dragona Pine said...

I've never heard of Swabia but ah well...

Rosie said...

Essex :P

Dragona Pine said...

Very good, very good :)

Dragona Pine said...

Brb.

Dragona Pine said...

Sorry, my parents just called... they're bringing me a sandwich so I don't have to make lunch.

Dragona Pine said...

I wonder what's happening... all that's on tv (ITV 3) is crime series... first it was Poirot and now it's a Touch Of Frost :S

Rosie said...

Mmm... Sandwiches. ^^

Aquila Felis said...

Maybe they want to entertain the viewers? You never know... ^^

Dragona Pine said...

Where have you all gooonnneee? Lol.

Oh and by the way Tosca, I'm a boy, for some reason when I first came on people thought I was a girl... and if you have any doubts, I'm 6ft 4 and 14.

Dragona Pine said...

Yeh... dead bodies in a lake... how entertaining :S

Rosie said...

Anyone watch Primeval? It's the only thing that keeps me entertained when Doctor Who isn't on. ><

Dragona Pine said...

And if you have any doubts it's me, and not someone else... look out for the Hmm... (it's my trademark XD)

Aquila Felis said...

Wouldn't they swim on the surface because of the gases, which...
Oh, just forgot, you wanted to eat something? Guess I should stop taling about...

:P

Dragona Pine said...

OMG PRIMEVAL IS JUST THE BEST! I WATCHED IT LAST NIGHT! Glad to have another Brit who likes Primeval on... I like the Gorgonopsid.

Dragona Pine said...

Lol Aquila, I'm not really hungry yet... just slightly.

Rosie said...

Blaaaarg, I get mistaken for a boy over the internet too often. ;_;

Rosie said...

And YES! Primeval! :D

Dragona Pine said...

Lol Tosca, and to think they were talking about putting down Rex.

*sobs*

Rex is just the best.
