Today is Laura's birthday. She's 23. And how is she spending her special day?
Studying for college exams.
Laura hates studying, she LOATHES studying, and earlier on she apologised to me for being in a grumpy mood. But the fact is, she should be celebrating today- instead, she's feeling miserable. How can you make her feel better?
I think that a few birthday wishes from my loyal Minions may just raise a smile on her face...

I don't think I know proper English. I always feel like a 5-year-old expressing myself in this language. :P

Your speaking proper english now, you normally do. You just rarely say some things which don't make sense... but I suppose it's the same with anyone who knows one language and learns another. Don't feel like a five year old.

That's just confusing... Smoking is like in a cigarette or smoke is coming from an object, Handy means something is close by, easily used or if your talking about a person, very skilled with their hands.

But that's something that can be changed *looks at her English-school-book* ehm, maybe.
I know that they have different meanings in English, but we just took them and gave them a different meaning, using them in German.
Do we do that when we speak your language? Sometimes you don't use the english deffinitions, you just seem to make them up in your own language :S

Well, there are some German words in English, too.
Most funny are the English words, used by Germans, which don't even exist in your language. But usually we just take words for something completly different like body-bag or public viewing. ^^

Yes, they are. As well as T-Shirt and Pullover (both of them with their usual meaning).
What do body bag and public viewing mean? a Body Bag is something they put dead bodies in at medical centres and public viewing means anyone can watch it.
This is just confusing me :S
Body bag is a bag you wear close to your body and public viewing is when a lot of people meet at a public place to watch soccer on a big sreen, put there by the state or the fifa (whoever puts them there).
Lol, I bought my friend a body bag has just got a new meaning :P

Scotch Eggs are eggs with a thin layre of sausage meat and breadcrumbs on. But you can get Savoury eggs which have mushed up egg in instead of a full one.

I enjoyed that film it was funny not really scary
My favourite part is where the main character kills loads of men with her daggers and swords but reiforcments come so she wipes them out with her powers but 1 stray survivor kills her but 3 more equally armed clones (none of these is the real person just clones the organisation made because the girl had the cure in her blood) then come and say "is that any way to treat a lady" before killing the other reinforcements

I prefer it with those gaps. They make you think what may happen next or take a deep breath before you continue reading.
But it breaks up the story and makes you look back Aquila, you kind of loose the plot a bit with them in.
