Ahem.
Just a brief note to update you on how the work is progressing. So far, every book has been longer than the one before. The first book was about 75,000 words, and Mortal Coil was over 100,000. With Book 6, I'm planning on continuing that trend, but I don't know by how much.
I've been working away at the first section of the story, the first quarter of the book, dipping in an out of scenes and chapters... Even though, officially, I started this book on November 6th, a lot of things have been taking up my time, so I've really only been able to seriously write in the past week. And in the past week I've written almost 20,000 words. That's roughly a fifth of the book, and I've done it in six days.
I am on a ROLL.

I can't write right now...I've gotten in a whole two and a half new pages...
But that's what I'm busy doing. I'm writing...Lot's of clever little things...
Derek, you're making it into my book. (It's actually kind of funny how I add you into it...trust me.) Hmm...and I'm writing a descriptive type scene...It's about par, the way it sounds...
But just so you know Derek, you're appearance will be brief and it will be in a scene that is later-ish in the book...See this is part of my ingenious plot to get more people to buy Skulduggery Pleasant...

I was showing my mother some stuff, like Octaboona's poem's, some of Derek's comments, etc. and she wanted to see some of my comments. I told her that some of what I said was a little crazy and she just looked at me, told me she was absolutely used to it and looked at some of the comments...(Mostly Octaboona's poems...she likes them by the way...)
I'm gone now...Off to read...And I hope there isn't any school again tomorrow...

I met him last night at a Cinemagic event and I've just decided he's perfect. I think it'd be good to have Valkyrie as a relative unknown, but give her a team of fairly well-known actors. Kind of like what they did with Harry Potter. I just quite like Liam for Dusk.
And, to Nyx Dawn, I used to be Team Caelan because Fletcher annoyed the crap out of me, but I've now decided to switch sides.
I am now a hesitant Team Fletcher member.
