Ahem.
Just a brief note to update you on how the work is progressing. So far, every book has been longer than the one before. The first book was about 75,000 words, and Mortal Coil was over 100,000. With Book 6, I'm planning on continuing that trend, but I don't know by how much.
I've been working away at the first section of the story, the first quarter of the book, dipping in an out of scenes and chapters... Even though, officially, I started this book on November 6th, a lot of things have been taking up my time, so I've really only been able to seriously write in the past week. And in the past week I've written almost 20,000 words. That's roughly a fifth of the book, and I've done it in six days.
I am on a ROLL.

*takes a short cut, going around the corner, next to the road, shoots the trucks tyres out, as Kallista cannot help slowing down, Dragona jumps onto the back, rescues Flo, jumps down and throws a smoke grenade in the back of the truck*
*Kallista crashes into a tree, she has no control and cannot see from the smoke, Dragona comes next to the truck and fires a tranquiliser dart, Kallista is knocked unconcious before Dragona places a mine under the tyre, and a timed smoke grenade inside the truck*
*pushes Kallista away, puts a proximity mine under her foot, if she moves one muscle then she shall blow to pieces, swims after Flo*
*mission impossible music going as Dragona rescues her, walks past the unmoving Kallista*
*Kallista blows to pieces, smoke can be seen coming from the tree*
*it was a smoke mine, Kallista isn't hurt*

"Bullets tore up the ground around him, Dragona rolled further around the car, he could hear the bullets hitting the car as he reloaded his submachine gun after firing at Brambo.
A missile speared from behind a building, it exploded on contact with the helicopter, the armoured black hull banked to the left as the rotars struggled in vain to keep the helicopter from falling. It was too damaged to stay in the air, and it hit the ground, destroying several cars which were driving along the road. Rotars still spinning slowly, the gunner slumped out of the helicopter, either dead or unconcious.
"What?" Dragona said finally, as the helicopter ground to a halt.
"Who fired that?" Israel asked in confusion, just as a thumping sound became audiable.
A nearly identical helicopter flew over the rooftops, it was bigger, wider and looked to have many guns mounted on it. It was camoflaged in colour, but Dragona couldn't see the country it belonged to.
"You, down there, prepare to die!" a voice said on loudspeaker, with a thick Russian accent.
Dragona cursed, this was the start of World War Three, he bet Darkane felt bad, afterall, she started it."

Very cool cannot WAIT for the next book, I have decided I HATE snow now!!! For those of you who don't know it has been very snowy and slippy and COLD in Ireland recently and personally i am sick of it! i LIVE ON A HILL so now we can't leave our estate by car or we'll die in a tragic but slightly ironic car accident. Just wanted to know if you were havng any problems with the snow, Derek.
"More rubble pounded against his head, as another explosion sent vibrations up Dragona's arm, he searched his pocket for his phone, grasped it, and pulled his hand out quickly as another explosion sent more tarmac at him.
MI6 HQ were on speed-dial, he would have ran, but the Russian helicopter was firing missiles at them, he wouldn't make it across the road alive.
"Hello, MI6, how can I help?" a voice said on the other line, as explosions filled the air.
"Agent Dragona!" he shouted above the noise, "we need Mr. Blunt"
"Please repeat, voice print was not confirmed correctly" the female voice replied,
Dragona took a deep breath, "Agent Dragona!" he shouted, "we need Mr. Blunt!"
"Voice print confirmed, please hold" she said, and a song started to play through the speaker.
"What's that?" Israel asked, after reloading his pistol from firing uselessly at the armoured helicopter.
Dragona put his phone to Israel's ear.
Even though they were in the middle of a warzone, Israel started swaying his head from side to side, and then started singing to the song.
"Your love, is lifting me higher, than I've ever, been lifted before" he sung,
"Israel, concentrate!" Dragona yelled, as another missile hit the ground."
