With Desolation only a few days away, I am still hard at work on the third and final Demon Road book.
From the beginning, I wanted these books to be as streamlined as possible — I wanted them short and punchy. Now, I completely failed with Demon Road, as it was a pretty big book, and only got slightly better with Desolation, which is shorter, but it looks like I'm finally getting the hang of this with Book 3, which will hopefully be the perfect length.

oh nice, that's quite nutrient rich :D When i was a kid, I had to eat everything that was put in front of me, my family was very strict with me all the time...and I had a horrible woman in nursery, who would always beat us and force the food down our throats, if we didn't eat it till the last drop XD I am not sure what happened to her, but I hope she got arrested or something....so yeah, i think my childhood might have to do something with me eating anything...and to be honest, the amount of shit i can swallow is the unhealthy factor, not yours XD Once, one of my classmates dared me (for a quid) to drink a can of dr. pepper, mixed with coke, milk shake, burgers(yes, the ones you get from fast foods) and toothpaste. I had no trouble :P
