With Desolation only a few days away, I am still hard at work on the third and final Demon Road book.
From the beginning, I wanted these books to be as streamlined as possible — I wanted them short and punchy. Now, I completely failed with Demon Road, as it was a pretty big book, and only got slightly better with Desolation, which is shorter, but it looks like I'm finally getting the hang of this with Book 3, which will hopefully be the perfect length.

Oh yeah they move real fast, there was a big spangly one in my room and I tried to pick it up and take it outside but it slipped from my hands and shot off. Two days later I found it stuck in the doorway and starved to death :'(
But when spiders run they're just trying to get away normally. WASPS on the other hand

But I understand your dislikes, you two. I grew up in an insect-infested room and the spiders were the only ones that didn't try to crawl on my face so I like them because of that. One day you will have an experience where a spider will decide not to crawl on your face and you will understand hahahaha
Haha, once there was a baby wasp in my room. Didn't want to attempt to kill it and miss, so I trapped it in a cup until someone else could kill it for me. XP
I think that puts ME at a disadvantage, not you! But I think I might lose...

Well, okay, here's the thing.
I'm okay with spiders as long as it's not one that's recognizably poisonous. Also, as long as it keeps it's distance from me, or it's very small and not close enough to touching distance, then I'm okay.
But if it's suddenly there or worse- suddenly /on/ me, I start freaking out.
