February already, is it? Dear lord, where does the time go?
Into the void, that's where. Into the void with all the PLANS we make and the PROMISES and the GOOD INTENTIONS and the LIES... Ahem.
I'm busy. I'm working away. On what? Different things. Some will see the light of day. Some will not. That's what happens. I've pretty much started the third and final Demon Road book, which is good, since my deadline is HILARIOUSLY close and I have an awful lot of work to do. But there are so many distractions! So many different projects to work on!
But I must focus. I must.
So, right now, my publishers are busy nailing down UK and Ireland tour dates for Desolation. First thing I have to tell you is that the release date has been changed, pushing it back a week to April 7th. Not that much of a big deal, and there are a load of external factors involved in the decision. It was explained to me but I zoned out. It's something to do with... something. Anyway, whatever, it's out on the 7th, although it will be available to buy a few days earlier at certain locations on my tour.
So, roughly, from April 3rd to the 7th, I'll be in Oxford, Manchester (don't know if it'll be available to buy early here, will check), Liverpool, Birmingham and London. Irish dates include Dublin and Kilkenny so far, from the 8th to the 10th.
As soon as these things become solid, I'll post them.
We're doing our best to have something cool happen in London, so keep your eyes peeled, ladies and germs. Awesomeness awaits. And possibly nightmares. Which is awesome in itself.

My sister and I used to build cities out of blocks, and we'd give our little plastic animals each their own houses. Then every Sunday, we'd have to clean it up so Mom could vacuum th floor. We'd build a new city as soon as she was done, and we'd put some of the same animals in it, but also sometimes different ones as some got lost, and we got some new ones. Sometimes the cities had train tracks, sometimes it was just a cat city, sometimes a butterfly city or a lizard city, or a pretty rock city where the rocks were the people. Sometimes it'd really be one building with a lot of sections, sometimes a lot of little buildings. It was always the same toy room, but it was a different city every time.
We'd build it and take it down and build it and take it down.
I think there's meant to be an analogy here, but I'm not sure what my point was because my friend Geneva just walked by and said hi and stuff and I lost my train of thought. Um? I think Blogland is like that kind of in some ways?

I recently tried to reread the Skulduggery series in the past week. 'Tried' being the main word. I don't know how I managed to read something like that. It's... basic.
Now I don't mean to offend anyone (I've made some killer friends and had some killer times on here), but this blog...
Ever since I came on, my positivity levels had dropped. It became my illicit drug that i relied on and killed me at the same time.
About a month after the need to be on here stopped, things INSTANTLY started getting better.
I'm still not taking my meds, but I don't need them anymore even if I was. I am good. I haven't had a nose dive in MONTHS. The only change to my lifestyle was leaving this blog...
So I guess this is a permanent goodbye.
Goodbye, then. Thanks for the memories and the support. But I can stand on my own two feet and im living and breathing and happy as a clam :)

@Kas: See, yeah, I have to brush my hair because I have naturally straight hair and I don't like it all tangled. Idk, you're beautiful now but you don't think you are. I personally - well, beauty is subjective, and people never think they're as beautiful as they are. So I don't really think that the way to be happy with the way you look is to look better, because let's face it, most people are never going to get to a point where they're satisfied. I think the solution is to either accept you're beautiful as you are or ignore it as much as possible and tell yourself it doesn't matter. The latter works for me.
But then again, I wouldn't /want/ to be what people consider beautiful; I know I wouldn't enjoy people thinking I'm beautiful or people telling me that I am, so I am actually best off looking sort of meh. I think that because of that I have an empathy gap there.

Yeah, my legs aren't thin. But they're a huge mass of muscle, they're so strong, so I'm happy with that.
