I'm currently buried neck deep in an assignment so I'll probably disappear to get that done soon. But I look forward to Derek (hopefully) making a post about the Ronda v Holly fight, that was quite sad.

@Jai: :) I'm still working on the outlines, so I can't really tell yet; there's not been much chance for anythign to go wrong. I did have an issue where I hadn't realised the screen had zoomed in and cut a section off, but I think I got around that. So, yeah, okay so far. :)

Kiana: *opens her pouch of medical supplies, grabbing the needle and thread, bandages, everything she needs* *gets a rag and covers it in chlorophyll* *lays it over Velvets face to make sure she's asleep* *sets about fixing her* *time skip?*
Velvet: *is having a nightmare* *screams and wakes up, sitting bolt upright* *forgets that she had a whole in her stomach and that sitting up probably wasn't a good idea* *in in too much pain to scream*
Kiana: *looks up quickly at the movement* *hisses and runs over, gently lowering her to a laid back position that won't hurt as much* *runs off and comes back with three thinks on a tray* *a drink, some pain killers and a wet rag for her head* *looks apologetic*
Kiana: *takes the glass, setting it on the side* *drapes the damp cloth across her head* *nods* *is keeping all her weight off her left leg, she's bound it tightly and used a stick to keep it straight and supported* *it's pretty obviously broken*

(a little melancholic, to be honest. There's a forest at the bottom of my garden. a wee burn, lots of trees. its like something out of a fairy tail. the storm that's hitting us tore up one of the oldest trees, a big beautiful beech, and threw it down like a dead twig. Its been there since before I was born. I used to climb on it and talk to it. I spent half an hour out in the wind trying to right it, I even cut off the bigger branches to try and make it lighter. but its still too heavy. Its weighing other trees down, so I'm going to have to cut it up. I don't even like looking out the window at it because I just feel sad.)
(ah, well. it was nice while it lasted. I managed to take a cutting and graft it, so the tree'll live on. I'm going to plant the sapling on the same spot as before. A fresh start.)
(yeah, its not much fun. In September, just as the leaves turned, when the sun hit it, it looked like it was on fire. Really pretty... But the tree's not dead. its still there, in that cutting. The rest of it'll decay, and whatever life is left in it will go back into the forest. It'll feed flowers and grasses. New life, born out of a dead giant. The sapling will take nourishment from that too. So its not so sad, I suppose.)
Either or is fine, I really don't mind. Whichever comes first.
Looks like it. I managed to make contact with some people in the housing department and I'm working to get them on side. I've got some time, but not much else. Still, we fight on regardless. If nothing else I'm going to cripple them with red tape.
(Struan you know i'll fully support you. If you're going to go to their offices or whatever, tell me and i'll join you. If you want to tie yourself to a tree so they don't start wrecking stuff, i will also be tied to a tree.)

(ah, well. it was nice while it lasted. I managed to take a cutting and graft it, so the tree'll live on. I'm going to plant the sapling on the same spot as before. A fresh start.)

(yeah, its not much fun.
In September, just as the leaves turned, when the sun hit it, it looked like it was on fire. Really pretty...
But the tree's not dead. its still there, in that cutting. The rest of it'll decay, and whatever life is left in it will go back into the forest. It'll feed flowers and grasses. New life, born out of a dead giant. The sapling will take nourishment from that too. So its not so sad, I suppose.)

Looks like it. I managed to make contact with some people in the housing department and I'm working to get them on side. I've got some time, but not much else.
Still, we fight on regardless. If nothing else I'm going to cripple them with red tape.
