The competition had nothing to do with me or Skulduggery — it was all to do with an educational video game designed to teach you maths and have, you know, actual fun while you do it. Incorporating historically accurate aspects of Native American tribal life and culture, the game was called Spirit Lake, and the competition was to find someone to become a character in it, using your name and likeness. Here's what I said about it at the time:
"And if this works like they hope it will, this could be the beginning of something huge. This could revolutionise teaching, and learning— not just in America but across the world— and it could be just the thing that's needed to help struggling students make that singular, all-important leap. This could change people's lives."
The competition was a great success. I got in some hilarious responses, and also some heartfelt ones, and while it was not easy to pick a winner, a winner I did pick.
And now I'm going to do it all over again.
These same awesome people — people who include the mother and sister of my personal (Twitter) friend, UFC champion Ronda Rousey* — have another game in development, called Forgotten Trail.
SO — if you like the idea of having a video game version of yourself teaching kids maths across America, give me your reasons why. In no more than thirty words, explain why you should win, and send your entries to skulteams@hotmail.com. You can enter as many times as you like, you can be any age, from any country, and the winner will be announced at the end of July.
Good luck!
* Yes, Ronda does count as a friend**.
** By friend I don't, of course, mean someone I've ever actually met, but that's not what's important here***.
*** What's important is that we're PALS. Some might say buddies. Kindred spirits, perhaps. I might even go so far as to say I've taught her everything she knows****.
**** I haven't ACTUALLY taught her everything she knows, but she knows that I would have, if ever I knew something that she didn't already know. Such as writing*****.
***** Although seeing as how Ronda's autobiography has made it to the New York Times bestseller list — a list I have yet to ACTUALLY grace — this probably isn't the best use of my, or her, time. But even so, I am sure there are PLENTY of things I could teach her. Though probably nothing useful or, you know, not-imaginary, like unicorn-taming, or yodelling******.
***** I'll shut up now.

(*smiles* thank you)
(You're welcome. Rp?)
(@vi *sarcasm alert* wweeeboooobwwweeeboo "i needed that" something wrong?
what's up? *hugs forever and ever till she feels better*
or am I just picking up the wrong vibes?
*looks at the comments scowling* )
(Jaimie, then perhaps you should have him escape? I do not think there is another realistic way for him to survive without major injuries and possibly loss of limbs.)
Liliana: *they vanish in a flash of black, reappearing in the kitchen of their palace*
Claire: *she grins, ducking into the grass, starting to sneak up on them*
Bethany: I don't know...
(okay ^.^ where did we leave it?)
*pops in*
Hi peeps, just wanna leave hugs for you guys (coz I'm in such s nice mood right now lol ) *leaves hugs*
Wbvd.... I'm watching Mrs browns boys live!!!!!!!! (we're in a break right now and yes I'll do pics so it did happen (love that rule :D ) )
So yeah hi and *hugs* for you all )
oh, sorry, I meant that in a sort of sense: thank you for stopping me from that never ending loop. I needed to stop. Sorry, that was not made clear. It's all good. *normal length hug*
(@Soph eh. Loss of limbs and major injuries are fine. He can heal himself. It's death he can't reverse.)
Onwa: Mmm..
*grins* Remember the first time we had stew together? Granted that was sausage and child blood along with your finger..
*pulls up her necklace, the bone hanging on it*
but it was still good.
Right.. we should find her
Hi very distant Gar. *returns hug*
(*huggles rhos* im so jealous!)
(@Chloe they were asleep?)
(lol ok I thought that but something seemed up *looks to the sky*
I suppose up is better than down *looks down* *sighs*
*normal length hug* :P
-how long is normal? before it becomes weird? but when does it become weird? depends on the person... how long is intimate? how short says I don't like you ? does rejecting them make you seem like you hate someone ? or just that you don't like contact but will they know that? hmmmph- this is a short amount of what my brain goes through whilst reading things... that's why I thought something was up. i analyze too much. )
(Jaimie - At least that gives him a window in which to escape.)
Liliana: That... Is very sweet. *she smiles, kissing Onwa before reaching for a pan full of boiling water that one of the cooks was using, throwing the water over James, before pressing the hot metal against his face*
Claire: *she creeps closer, before jumping out of the grass at them* Boo!
(I see)
Felix: *eye lids open slightly* hmmm
Erm, I don't know if there is a defined "normal hug length" I guess that's why I wrote normal hug length... And don't worry, I analyze everything like that, I am always to unsure to voice that kinda stuff
(@Soph yep :)
Onwa: *kisses her back, grinning*
James: *cries out at the scalding water, screaming at the burning metal against his face, struggling to escape*
Claire!
*smiles, getting up to hug her gently*
You okay?
Kiana: *watches him, having woken a second or two ago*
OMG HI DRAGONA.
@Andviolet: *hi-fives for over-analysing C:*
Felix: *murmurs* see? I told you I wouldn't leave
Hey Star *high five*
Liliana: Mmm... Onwa, choose a limb and use the cleaver on the side to slice it off, if you wish.
Bethany: *she jumps, before hugging Claire tightly*
Claire: *she hugs them both back* Yep. Sure. I mean, my Lamborghini is... somewhere else, but yeah I'm fine.
Kiana: *nods, watching him, not cuddled against him though*
OMG HI STAR. :P
Felix: *sits up and stretches* do you want to go for a walk? or swim?
@Dragona: XD
Alright
I can't talk on Whatsapp, email and here at the same time AND revise eight pages of chemistry before I go to sleep.
Wbd.
Onwa: *grabs the cleaver, grinning* Hmm.. eeny meeny miny mo.
*swings the cleaver, burying it halfway through his left arm*
James: *screams, crying out and cursing them both loudly*
Onwa: *chuckles, swinging again and detaching the arm*
Sorry about your car.. and the pickup..
(Yeh I suppose and that's good *happily sighs*. I thought only I looked at things like that... then again I did say a short amount....
Do you look for things to explain people... such as why they said something in a specific tone... or better yet do you hear tone whilst reading. I do. I don't usually voice it because I think people will think things, like they are now, trying to guess what I'm thinking.... or maybe I'm also paranoid. I suppose I won't go any further rn on the matter, don't want to make it too easy.
I'm in a weird state of mind right now.... you can ignore this. *imagines the face of his enemies* like you will anyway. It all supports my theories. )
Kiana: *shakes head*
*you take dogs for a walk*
*she isn't a pet..*
Felix: what do you want to do then?
(I need to edit... whilst I still have mild sanity....
I might be back in an hour or something. *leaves normal length hugs* :P)
Kiana: *yeah Kiana what do you want to do*
*whimpers, just staying laid down*
*sad Kiana*
Felix: *frowns* Whats wrong, Ki?
Kieron: *reads* *cant really understand because my brain has already hit full capacity after two exams* *swears I could read that at any other time*
@Keiron: I don't really read people too well. And of course I hear tone whilst reading. :P That's why I love punctuation and typing style. They have such an effect on the way you read it . . . I feel so sorry for the people who don't know how to utilise commas because like . . . their writing looks so bland . . .
Writing skills are like appearance. You know how you automatically gravitate towards attractive people? Same for people with good writing skills.
Although tbh I don't really bother with either appearance or writing skills. XD I mean, I do tone with writing, but only to portray what's in my head and to express things the way I want them to be expressed . . . like, I'm not trying to make myself look as good as I can, I just want me to look as much like me as I can. XD I type like I think.
. . .
Right. Esters.
*hides*
Kiana: *looks at him*
*just looks at him*
Felix: did I do something?
Kiana: *shakes head, settling down onto the bed*
Felix: just want to stay here?
Kiana: *nods slightly*
Felix: *smiles* okay then, are you hungry?
Kiana: *shakes head, watching him*
Sorry I had to go eat
And also physics homework & I don't like this question :(
@Dragona: :P
*nods* I watch my brother playing (the last of us) and make awful puns every time he gets to a 'concentrate-fully-or-you're-going-to-die' part, which is always fun. :)
It IS a good-looking game, though. Some of the graphics are just O_O
Huh. My play-time on Skyrim can't be much. But it IS a gorgeous game.
And the GLITCHES. xD
I'm a Thieve's Guild member, but I'm ignoring the Dark Brotherhood questline for now, and don't think I've come across the Nightingales yet.
I haven't finished the MAIN questline, yet. I've had that dragon held hostage in Dragonsreach for at least a month in-game. :P
Oh, but I did distracted at one point and accidentally became Arch-Mage at Winterhold. I think, at the time, I only knew two or three spells? :P
I play an Argonian lady (can't pass up the 'BREATHE UNDERWATER' ability, even if it isn't the most useful option because HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE IRL?), and then, sort of stealth/I-DON'T-KNOW-WHAT-I'M-DOING. :)
... how are you doing, btw? It's good to hear from you. :)
*hugs Heirstrum(Conductor..?)*
*hugs Gar, too* Enjoy yourself! :) :) :)
wbd/wbd/wbd/msd/wbd
(*laughs* it's fine :P at times i don't understand me either. *needs to edit* sozzie
@star that makes normal people sense, *scowls* but at the same time I mean tone that wasn't intended... like how the person said it, how the moved their face, how they ... reacted.
I am attracted to personality... not necessarily looks... a person can be a 10 in looks but if their personality is a 3 then they're a 3.
Is my writing bland? I'm sorry, I just think fast paced and I want things to just flow, not stop or pause or slowdown. You said my writing was "one of the better kinds" b4 .... *sighs* don't answer that. )
Felix: you sure? *arches an eyebrow*
Kiana: *nods*
*frowns, trying to figure out how to say something*
*frowns more, struggling to come up with a way to ask 'why aren't you with your mate right now?'*
*looks at him with a frustrated and confused expression*
@Keiron: . . . Was that 'don't answer that' a genuine request or a non-request?
Yeah. Like I said. I can't interpret people well. I don't really do the whole real life communication thing well, if I'm perfectly honest. XD
Eh . . . I like aesthetically pleasing things, and people come under that, but like, I don't connect their aesthetic rating to their person rating. :P
Felix: hmmmm, I don't understand whats wrong *tilts head*
(It was a genuine request that I shouldn't have said because either way i'll come up with my own answer and read yours and also come up with what I think you're thinking.)
Kiana: *opens her mouth as if to talk, only managing grunting sounds*
*growls and shakes her head*
*gives up and lays back down*
Felix: im sorry *frowns* are you... trying to speak?
Liliana: Hopefully, James, this will teach you not to involve yourself with any of us again. It is more healthy for you.
Claire: That's fine. I'll take the Lamborghini in for fixing. It didn't get much damage. The pickup... We can buy another.
@Keiron: . . . but what if my actual answer is better than the one you're imagining?
(I don't know if it is. My answer takes a bit of explaining, you see.)
Kiana: *whimpers, nodding*
James: *glares at her, trying not to keep screaming*
Onwa: *picks up the arm*
Yeah.. *looks at the pickups remains*
That'd be a good idea..
(I think I have it correct...
along the lines of I can be bad if I don't pay attention/ don't care etc etc then it can come across decently when I want it to.)
Felix: you don't need to speakj, ill work it out, im sure
Kiana: *shakes head, laying down, upset and angry*
Felix: I know a demon who can understand animals, but im not sure if itd work with you
Kiana: *glares slightly*
Felix: as I said, she can only talk to animals. I don't know to which extent her gift can work *shrugs*
@Keiron: No.
Although that's probably true, tbh.
(...then what? )
Kiana: *grunts, turning her back on Felix*
Felix: *holds up hands in defense* sorry!
I THINK I MIGHT GO NOWISH BECAUSE CONCENTRATION AND TIREDNESS.
Raisin - At least there's the console for us PC players. :P If there are any glitches, we can usually sort them out. :P
You'll come across the Nightingales soon. :)
Dark Brotherhood quests <3 It's one of my favourites. :P
My advice - finish the main quest sooner rather than later. I basically messed around for the majority of the time, then when it came to the last quest in the main storyline I had to face hundreds of Draugr Deathlords... Not nice. :P Especially considering I've tried to balance out the stealth mechanic by not upgrading my health the entire game. :P SO MY CHARACTER HAS A WEAKNESS TO DRAUGR DEATHLORDS THANKS TO THEIR HIGH HEALTH. So it took me like 2 hours to complete that single quest. :P Same with one of the thieves guild quests in a dungeon. :P
Kiana: *huffs, slumping while laid down, exhaling heavily*
Felix: I see... well im going out to get food now
Kiana: *acts as if she doesn't care*
Liliana: Mmm... I will take a leg. *she takes another cleaver, hacking of James' leg with it*
Claire: If we take the Lamborghini to Steve, he'll have it fixed up in a day or so. Then if we portal to Germany rather than car, that'll save like a day or so... Which means we'll still be able to buy the motorhome and get to Shanghai in time.
Felix: *sighs* I should be back soon *lweaves*
James: *screams, leaning against the counter to stay upright*
Okay. That should work.
FIVE MORE PAGESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
(stalling... I'd quite like to know now that I was wrong.)
@Dragona: I'm always jealous of PC users for that reason :P
I can't tell you how many hours I've spent wandering the wilderness trying to find Lydia because she got stuck at the bottom of some stairs and just... gave up. :P
:) :) :)
XD I will bear that in mind, for sure. Thanks! :)
(I know what this song is about, but its so damn catchy)
Some like beautiful, perfect and pretty
I see the good in the bad and the ugly
I need the volume one louder than ten
I put the pedal to the metal, needle into the red
And if the windows ain't shaking
Making my heart race
If I can't feel it in my chest
I'm in the wrong damn place!
I got a demon in my soul and a voice in my head
It's saying GO! GO! GO! I can sleep when I'm dead
There's a sonic revelation bringing me to my knees
And there's a man down below who needs my sympathy
Got a ringing in my ears getting ready to burst
Screaming "Hallelujah Motherfucker take me to church"
I like it louder than the boom
Of a big bass drum
I need it harder than the sound
Of a guitar grunge
I love to crank it up
Make it thump
And evil to the core
Headbanging in the pit
And throwing my horns
And just like old school
Sabbath, Zeppelin and Lemmy
I need to drop it down low
And make it heavy
I like it heavy
I like it heavy
I ride the lightning, roll with the thunder
Going down down down with my sisters and brothers
I fell in love with their darkest parts
Stand on the side of the wild at heart
I plucked the feather off a crow so I could fly
Since I was 13 years old I've had my fist to the sky
I like it louder than the boom
Of a big bass drum
I need it harder than the sound
Of a guitar grunge
I love to crank it up
Make it thump
And evil to the core
Headbanging in the pit
And throwing my horns
And just like old school
Sabbath, Zeppelin and Lemmy
I need to drop it down low
And make it heavy
I like it heavy
I like it heavy
I like it, I like it, I like it heavy [x4]
Some like beautiful, perfect and pretty
I see the good in the bad and the ugly
I like it heavy
I like it heavy
I like it, I like it, I like it heavy [x4]
Kiana: *jumps immediately onto the pillow, viciously attacking it*
Liliana: *she gets a large pot, filling it with water and starts to heat it up, dropping in the arm and the leg* You have hurt my sister, James, by causing their accident. And you have hurt my fiancée in the past. I would say you had this coming to you. *she grabs his wrist, stabbing with her dagger at his groin*
Claire: I spun the Lamborghini around, and shot the trucks with the machine guns Steve added. I kind of made them separate, and the car go into the field, and then I jumped out of the Lamborghini which also went into the field so I could climb inside the cab of one of the trucks. It wasn't the driver's fault, I don't know what James did but he did something to control the cars, kind of?
Felix: *drives off to the local cake shop*
*stares at the cakes and thinks of velvet*
*misses her*
*sighs and drives back, forgetting about breakfast*
(im going to have an early night today, did so much walking and im off to harry potter world early tomorrow, nos da my darlings)
James: *screams a very, very high pitched scream, legs giving out, Liliana's hold on his wrist and the knife the only thing supporting him*
Stop!!!
Onwa: *laughs* Stop? We're just getting started.
*frowns* James? I knew I saw his hair!
Night, Chloe!
Have a lovely time! :)
(Goodbye, Chloe.)
(Nos da Chloe!)
(thank you ^.^)
Liliana: I wonder how many times Silente or Onwa asked you to stop... *she twists the dagger viciously* And I wonder how many times you ignored them.
Bethany: ... It was James?
Claire: Yeah... I think Liliana and Onwa are going to eat him.
James: *screams more, crying out, tears in his eyes* Please!!!
Onwa: shut up you worm. You deserve what you get. Maybe now you'll learn that no means no and that kids aren't sex toys or slaves.
Eat him?
*frowns*
I though Phaestra told them she'd punish them if they killed another person?
WHY IS MY SCHOOL FULL OF SMALL CHILDREN
@Keiron: Eh.
Let me find my answer.
Okay, well, author-wise - I tend to rate roleplay-writing differently to story-writing, and story-writing, I tend to rate on the same scale that I rate published books on. I haven't seen any of your non-roleplay writing, so I can't say where you are on that scale. I haven't seen much of your roleplay-writing, either, but you tend to do well enough. I'm not sure I rate roleplay on much of a scale, though . . . XD I think I rate most people around 'meh' and the worse people are kind of 'mehbad' and the better people are kind of 'mehgood.' Nowadays, that is. In the olden days, I could rate roleplay on my normal scale, y'know?
Normal-talking-wise, you have a point when you say you don't try as hard, but like . . . no one does. I mean, I wouldn't put that sentence I just wrote if I was actually putting effort into making my writing look good. And I also don't rate normal speech in the same way . . . it's like, someone's tone comes with their typing style, and so as long as they don't miss enough punctuation out that I actually struggle to read what they're trying to say, I don't really mind how they present it because their typing style is like a little piece of them. So I have yet ANOTHER scale, and you can rate just as well on this scale if you use no capital letters and very few commas and excessive ellipses (example not specific to anyone in particular), because that's just the way you type. And although it's slightly harder to mentally get behind the words of people who use less punctuation, like . . . I've spent most of my years online. I can deal with it.
And like . . . I'm not looking at your comments right now, because I'm typing this, but I can't even remember how good your spellingpunctuationgrammar is right now, you know? Because I'm just not patrolling these things informally. Whereas if I see grammatical errors in school worksheets or signs, it irritates me immensely and I do things like hit the paper and start ranting and then correct it.
So yeah. I . . . I kind of DO rate people informally, and on that I'd say you come out around averageish, but although I have that rating, I don't necessarily judge on it, either way?
(I mean, I guess I could have just said 'averagish.' But like, the rest of it felt important. Because I would be genuinely sad if some of the people here stopped making grammatical errors (not that I'm saying you make them. Like I said, I'm not patrolling. I really don't remember). It would be like they'd lost a little piece of themselves. Slightly. Ish. Idk I get attached to weird things.)
. . .
I love my decision to be honest. It's dead scary but it feels very good.
(*nods* Ah.
*smiles* thanks.
If I don't try, at all it would have no capitals or punctuation... I have paragraphs of what I was going to do with con up... I still might ... MIGHT finish them. That's just if you wanted to see how I done bookwise.)
@Keiron: *nods*
I can't read anything now. Shouldn't even be here. :P But yeah.
If I didn't try at all, it would still be punctuated, because like . . . I think in punctuation. It would possibly be HARD for me not to punctuate it . . . like when you try and type without spaces. You just have to sort of keep pausing as your brain goes "spaces . . . no spaces . . . back to word . . ."
:P
Capital letters are different. I could get used to not typing those.
Star: typing without spaces is the hardest thing ever. I almost always type the spaces and then have to delete them. And I do type without the capitals, my phone adds them in for me XD
Liliana: Mmm... Perhaps, Onwa, we should make this do for now. James, I can assure you that if you come near any of us again, there will be no end to how much we will hurt you. *she retrieves her dagger, after twisting it viciously again* And if I hear so much of a word about you hurting any children, or anyone for that matter - you will have the same fate.
Claire: Maybe they'll only eat part of him?
@Andviolet: I KNEW SOMEONE ELSE WOULD HAEV THIS SPACE PROBLEM!
I can't remember whether my phone does or not. I keep accidentally changing it, but after five minutes or so my fingers always seem to adapt, which tells me that capitals aren't very important for me when typing. :P
James: *screams again, whimpering*
*thinks better of saying something snarky*
That could work.. I don't imagine he'd taste good. Foul man
Four pages left!
(And most of them seem to be on chromatography or titrations, which I know about, so it's all good. :) Might be done before eleven.)
Woohoo! Yay! You can do it Star! *cheerleads*
(Why did it just sound like an aeroplane was trying to land on my roof?!?!)
@Andviolet: :) Thanks!
@Jai: . . . ???
hey everyone ^_^ *appears just to poof again and come back after a bit*
(Presumably a big vehical drove past.. bigger than a bus.)
Hey Fera(lol, for some reason my spellcheck always wants me to say FERA) *hugs*
Liliana: Now would you like a hand getting back to your realm? Alternatively, you could stay here in the dungeon, or being marooned in a random realm in the middle of nowhere.
Bethany: ... Claire, did you say you jumped out of your car?
Claire: Yep. On to the truck.
James: My realm.. please..
That doesn't sound safe.
Liliana: Mmm... And if I were to maroon you?
Claire: I made the truck driver pass out.
well...it took me a while to come back ^_^ anyone on? :)
violet: *hugs* :)
I'm here :)
hey violet ^_^ How are you? :)
I'm pretty good. Don't have to go to school or take an exam tomorrow :)I still have a couple exams, but tomorrow I get peace. I'm hoping to spend it writing this book I've been working on(if you can call it a book at this point, it's about four chapters)
How be you?
violet: Hehe, what's it about? ^_^ I am fine thank you very much, finished all my exams a while ago, school is going fine, though I might get suspended for not going to the charity walk today :P There was a charity walk for the people in Nepal and i didn't go, and not because i wouldn't want to help them, it's because we have a sponsor anyways and the money is already going to help, i just didn't see the point of going for a little walk, instead of doing something productive ^_^ It's not like a walk's gonna help the people who have suffered from the earthquake, right? The money is already done and dusted, and i would gladly do voluntary work, if it's productive.... ^_^ sorry for rambling :P
and oh yeah, i am not sure, but i think every had to do it, but i didn't, cuz didn't see the point :P
Perfectly alright, and I see where you're coming from. It stinks that you may get in trouble though. And it's about 4/5 teenagers in my very own subculture of magic, and they work for the government. They fight some baddies along the way, I suppose. I mean, it's more complicated than that, but I'm trying to summarize into something that isn't obnoxiously long.
violet: Thanks for understanding, and as i said i would like to help, i just don't think what they did would help anyone ^_^ hehe, i see :P I would love to read it :) would you like to continue the RP btW? :)
If you wanna read it, I posted the first two chapters on my blog, and will probably continue to post them. I'd love it if you read it. The more the merrier. And yeah, totally :)
Andviolet: *picks up phone in the middle of the night, having not been able to sleep, fishes the card out from her pocket, and dials Fera's number. The phone starts ringing*
violet: hehe, i will definitely read it ;) ^_^
fera: *pick up phone* ummmm...hello? *says it in a soothing voice*
(Awesome, can't wait)
*deep breath* There is absolutely nothing I can say that will make you not go after this thing?
fera: well...considering i've already tracked its exact location and made a capture device specifically for it...No i don't think so *laughs mildly*
fera: why would you not want me to go after it anyways? *sticks tongue out*
*another deep breath* Then I'm coming with you. I have what you call...good intuition.
*can't see tongue because I called on a phone*
fera: what, right now? At 2 am? *hmphh*
*laughs* not necessarily right now. Well when are you going?
fera: right now *giggles* unless of course, if you've got any problems with that? :P
Hello? Anyone on?
hey hopey ^_^
Not at all. Right now it is. Where are you?
Hey Tam :) *hugs£
*waves*
Hi Frank. Hey, Vi. How are you two?
fera: say my name *laughs*
hopey: I am fine thank you ^_^
I'm pretty good. Got a day off tomorrow, so, ya know. How be you?
Andviolet: *rolls eyes* Fera, Fera, wherefore art thou my sweet Fera? *very sarcastic*
Good to hear, Frank. ^.^
Awesome, Vi. :)
I be tired and distant.
*nods*
*remembers to ask*
Oh yeah, how old are you, Violet? Just curious.
I am in high school, but I don't really want to share my age.
fera: just say it *giggles*
Nothing against any of you, just privacy
OMLI. I'm in high school tooooooooooooooooooooo!
Okay, Vi.
I'm nineteen. :P I FEEL SO OLD BUT STILL REALLY IMMATURE. XD
Fera: I just did. Three times. Nothing happened. But fine, I'll try it just alone. Fera.
DUDE, DUGGY. YOU BARELY STARTED. XD
*hugs the duggle*
Hey Duggy! *hugs*
And awesome! High school people!
...I haven't started. BUT I'M STILL A BIG SCARY HIGH SCHOOLER!!!
*huggles Tama back*
GUYS VUYS GUYS I'M IN ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES EVER
*hugs Vi back*
I READ YOU'RE NEXT CHAPTER AND OMLI IT'S GOOD
Where are you? And yes, I'm sure you're very big and very scary.
fera: *feel a breeze on your cheeks* boo...right here
Oh yay, thank you. Glad to hear it XD
Heh, i am almost done with high school, i am bigger and scarier than you are dugglyn :P
Fera: *rolls eyes and is sarcastic again* Ah, you scared me! *feigns fright*
DUGGY TAKE PICTURES!!! Lots of them!!
Hah, Frank. I AM done with high school. Take that. :P
(I'm in the middle somewhere! Yay! Awkward middle child!)
hopey: yeah but you're 4"6, you're not big or scary
fera: *door open in a loud crash* oops, sorry neighbors *sarcastic* go through the door *only hear my voice, can't see me*
hopey: just remembered, 4"8, sorry :P
*giggles* just get in here, you big doof.
of course all yey'all are bigger and scarier! I'm still fresh. Hahaha, get it?
I'm in Canada! On an island between Vancouver island and the main land.
I have pictures, I'll put em on my blog, just a sec!
(awesome, Duggy! Hope you're having a good time)
Yay, Dug. :)
-_- Geez, you had to remind me, Frank? XP
*face darkens*
I can be scary if I wanted to.
*brightens up with a smile*
But I don't, so you're lucky. ^.^ ;P
*takes a look at Dug's profile to get to her blog*
*notices a part in her favorite music area*
I AM NOT A REAL ARTIST, DUGGY, I DONT COUNT. XP
hopey: i thought you were aware? :P oh I am so lucky ;P
fera: *appears on your bed nearby you* hello there *doesn't have coat on, his body is rather built*
But-but- on the blog, I can forget how short I am. *pouts*
Yes, yes you are. *nods* :P
Violet: *sighs* and why don't you have a shirt on, might i ask?
fera: *said i don't have a COAT on* XD i have no idea what you're saying? *shirt appears on him*
hopey: oh don't pout *hugs* hehe :P
*huffs and grudgingly hugs back*
*ruffles his hair as pay back and runs away quickly after, laughing*
hopey: *runs after her* :P
*turns on lights* Okay, so what were you planning on doing at 2 am? Are we going straight after the monster, or is there other stuff to do first? You said you have some sort of device?
*hides behind a tree, moving out of his sight if he passes by it, still grinning*
*looks at the time*
Gotta go. :/ Sorry, Frank! ^.^
*comes up behind him and hugs him quickly*
Bye, Duggy and Violet!
*happily poofs, knowing she was 'saved by the bell'*
Rick Riordan
Doing Norse mythology...
My life = complete
I might actually die of excitement and i'm more excited about this then Demon Road....
Opps.
-Zaf who might explode
By Tam! *hugs*
fera: I think the best plan of action would be to go after it *nodS* oh yes, well during our last encounter i had pin pointed its soul structure, i have made a device especially for it to be captured *grins* do you have any stuff that you would like to take with you, or do anything before we go? *there's clearly noticeable sweat dripping down his face which he didn't mention*
hopey: oh, bye :/ *hugs*
nothing I can think of. Let's go get ourselves a minster
*sighs and goes*
-Zaf
fera: *wipes sweat off* fine by me, though you might wanna change your clothes, while i like you in pijamas more *smirks* the enemy won't care about that *giggles* something more ready-to-fight? *smiles*
*glares at Fera* Fine, give me like two minutes * shoves Fera out the door and closes it* *returns roughly two minutes later in boots, pants, and a leather jacket with hair tied back* Now are we ready to go fight a monster?
Eeep! Major Poof, soy!!!
Uploaded pictures!
And not currently here!
fera: sure thing *puts hoodie on* grab my hand ^_^
(Tis okay, hey again Duggy!)
Looks at hand. I'm going to fight a monster... *deep breath**grabs hand*
fera: oh...forgot to mention...*clears throat* several *wall of dark redness starts engulfing both of us*
*is engulfed, irritated that there is going to be one of those game changing things he purposefully didn't tell me because then j wouldn't have came*
fera: *both of us appear in a dark place, rather chilly, surrounded by stone walls* it's a bit cold, so i hope your dress can keep your body temperature constant...now see these 3 paths? Each of us has to walk a different one. We can't go down the same path. however they all lead to where the THINGS are....plan is, we separate here, and meet up there. Nobody does anything until we're both there. got it? *takes little glowing device out* here, this will start glowing brighter the closer we're to each other. Use it as a compass to find me. Once you reach the end of your path, it will drop you off anywhere random in the space that we want to each *smirks* good luck *books it down the hallway at superhuman speeds without letting you ask anything*
*looks down at attire, confused as to why Fera called pants and a jacket a dress* *moves on from pointless detail* *studies two paths closely* *heads down path to the right*
fera: *cuz he likes it XD* *fera while booking it down the hallway* I hope you're as strong as i think you are, otherwise...*andviolet starts hearing loud screams*
*hears loud screams* *bolts further down hallway, trying to drown out screams with the wind rush of running*
fera: *the further both get, the louder the screams become*
*stops, analyzes scream sounds* *stands up straighter, plugs ears, and walks quickly standing up tall*
*light shows up at the end of each hallway, fera makes it however, violet is behind, fera can feel something coming towards her, a lot faster than he is* crap, i have no authority here, come on violet! *grinds teeth*
*senses something* *bolts and joins Fera at the end*
fera: *quickly throws violet in the portal while he jumps at it as well* *both appear in random locations of a huge, but weirdly dark room*
Okay. So are you going to tell me exactly what we are doing? Or keep me guessing?
James: *closes his eyes*
Then I'd heal myself then find my way home.
That poor lorry driver..
Hi Jai *hugs*
fera: shhhhh *points at the middle of the room* *something growling in the darkness*
fera: shhhhh *points at the middle of the room* *something growling in the darkness*
*lowers voice a little, but probably not as quiet as Fera would like, knowing it won't disturb the creature* You seriously think I didn't notice that thing? I told you, I've got pretty good intuition. If you wanna say that.
fera: *glares* you mean, thingS?...well, i've gotta get close to it, and you've gotta help me *nods*
Yes, I meant things. But did you? You referred to them as "it" multiple times. But enough semantics. Now is really not the time. What do I need to do?
fera: you push me, with wind preferably, then I've only gotta get close to IT...the others can wait. You watch my back while I am setting up the trap and ...it's right behind me isn't it *turns head slowly*
*it isn't right behind Fera* Wow, you really just couldn't resist saying that, could you? And push you? With wind? Push you where, and what?
fera: right there *points near middle* it's...a bit tricky to explain. no time. Just do it. *smirks*
*gives deadpan look* You're not Nike. *shoves Fera towards the middle*
