DEMON ROAD

Ladies. Gentlemen. Minions.

Behold.

Wow.

We're still working on it, still altering and changing the little details, still tweaking... but I really wanted to get it out before it's leaked.

And let's face it, it is BRILLIANT.

You can start trembling now.

So, it's midnight, I'm having a minor emotional breakdown, all my stuff is in garbage bags outside in my shitty little town - so half of it isn't going to be there when I wake up, production is over, and my brain is shutting down.

And I really, really can't deal with anything right now.

And I just-

I'm seriously not trying to stir up shit. I'm trying to understand why you won't understand that Noelle could be dead. Yes, I do read through what you say. Yes, I did see the comment about how Moss has seen her activity on other sites, but that doesn't stop me worrying.

There was a time where I would do that for anyone. I would fret and stress until the end of time for you.

But this has torn me apart. I can see know that we are no longer a family - we are a group of people who socialise, and I'm really in need of the people I called my brothers and sisters.

...

I honestly think that tonight will be it. Production is over. I really have barely anything to look forward to...

I can't take anything like this anymore...

Ugh...

Lavender Hope said...

Hi again, Kas! :)

How are you?

Lavender Hope said...

I'm sorry, Danni...
*hugs tightly*
Please don't. You have your whole life ahead of you. If you have nothing to look forward to, then find something. You always have a choice. You can choose to be happy if you make an effort.
*continues hugging*
I hope you find something that makes you happy, I really do.

Danni, if you're still here, why don't you talk about your production? I hope you had a good time with whatever it was, and I'm curious to know.

Maybe it could help take your mind off of things...

Also I just remembered how bad I was at making people feel better...

Trust me Death, I don't go a week without worrying about that. But we're in contact, we spoke yesterday. I'll pass along your concern next time we speak. I think she'd like that.

But there's something to be gained from this. Every time you get knocked down, you grow a little stronger. No matter what has happened, there's always one silver lining: you learned. You now have something that you didn't before, regardless of what you lost.

And no matter what you lose, you'll always have us,nif that thought doesn't glorify you too much.

I really wish autocorrect would stop offering my Kaladin's name whenever I click in an Pt text box. It just makes me want to talk about Kaladin.

. . .
Hello.

Ummmmmmm . . . hmm.
I would LIKE to second what Inky said, but it was worded a bit harshly, and whilst I have no issue with that whatsoever (it's definitely not a critics, Inky :)), if I said it myself I would phrase it differently, whereas when I say 'I second that' I tend to mean 'I would have said that myself if I could have,' so I . . . half-second it? Quarter it?

I would still like my question answered before I said my own first ed thoughts on the subject (although most of what I think has already been said).

I would like, at this juncture, to EXPRESSLY POINT OUT that I don't hate or dislike Dannielle. I just disagree with her actions atm, so am spreading a lot of dislike towards them. However, I do NOT dislike you like I do your current actions, Dannielle! Just making that clear.

What was the other thing . . . ? Ah yes.

I'mean sorry for abandoning you earlier, Jai (I feel guilty for leaving when there's only one other person online. XD) Sadly, I had to go out, so I neither revised nor essayed, but C is trying like hell to 'work out how The Fault In Our Stars is so emotionally impacting when it's so BAD' so I thought I'd do some large-scale literary analysis and give her and unasked-for hand, because I love analysing lit. Yeah. So. That will happen sometime. :)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inkt: Well, then he should see someone.

The only reason mental issues have labels and treatment and stuff is because they're problems. If his pyroness is a problem, it needs dealing with. If it isn't, it'a fine, whether it's normal or not. :)
^My opinion.

Inky Flame said...

(how can you self diagnose? Im, sorry but you need to get checked

you cant just label yourself like that lightly)

(cases can develop into more serious problems

its like OCD
it can get extreme...)

Anonymous said...

(I'm not diagnosing only that fire is really really cool and I love making it and putting stuff in it. I know when to stop thou.

If i go then they will find out everything and I swear to god there is no way the amount of stuff I tell them will not end in drugs and a white coat. I would rather kill myself than have that happen. Not that I don't wanna do that anyway ok I'm very f'ed up and I have been for years, someone made most that go away but hey now no someone so it came back.)

Anonymous said...

(OCD is not a bad thing, it makes things look awesome!)

Inky Flame said...

( you did diagnose yourself if you call yourself a pyromaniac

drugs are there to help
and white coats? great thing about how psychiatry and psychology has advanced, the usage of drugs mean you wont be locked up and people can live normal lives)

Inky Flame said...

(its a disorder
obsessive compulsive disorder

it isn't

I know someone who thinks they have it and they are worried

it can get extreme
it can disrupt peoples lives)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: Look. So long as the Conductor is not hurting himself nor anyone else, there is /nothing wrong/ with him.

The only reason pyromania is a diagnosis with treatments is because of the harm pyromaniacs can do. Is the Conductor harming anyone? No. Then he's fine.

Anonymous said...

(well that's the word for liking fire and wanting to watch fire etc. fire is not a disease... probably. I really should but I have managed 8 years or so being depressed etc it's just something else I need to deal with.

I don't wanna be on drugs because then it means there is a problem with me. I am adamant no matter how weird I am that I am normal, that I will deal with whatever life throws at me until the day I die, no matter it be my hands or someone else's, I really don't see natural happening.)

Inky Flame said...

(I guess star, I just... what if it develops

I think of it like the gradual commitment theory of obedience

people obey seemingly harmless orders, but then have a harder time refusing more serious orders

it can develop)

Star Inkbright said...

I believe that with most mental disorders, you don't get treatment unless it's disrupting your life significantly enough. If you can deal with it, then in theory, you're just meant to deal with it.
(of course, I know people online who said 'I have depression' and just got meds handed to them without even being tested, so obviously stuff isn't perfectly regulated, but.)

Inky Flame said...

(Pyromannia is a disorder

its normal, people liking fire (I think?) but pyromania is the actual disorder

so if you don't think of yourself as having a disorder, don't call yourself a pyromaniac

how can you just say you have been depressed for 8 years so lightly? without seeing someone?

years ago, my nan had a bump on the head
it made her depressed
she couldn't leave the house for YEARS)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: I just think you should only use treatment IF it develops.

Otherwise, it's a waste of durgs for one thing, and also drugs can often have nasty side-effects or can adapt people's minds, and I just don't see the point in giving people drugs when there is no problem.

Also, I may be reacting a little bit strongly because I don't want people to put me on drugs due to my skin-picking, so I'm kind of reacting to that as well. :/

Inky Flame said...

(its just

I prefer the preventative method rather than curative

id rather have a vaccine for something to prevent it rather than getting the thing and having drugs to cure it

I think its better to get something at the root)

Inky Flame said...

(I know drugs are awful

my 2 year old cousin has finished having chemo for a tumor

shes on meds

in adults, it can giver them suicidal thoughs

she has double the amount an adult would have)

Anonymous said...

(I say it so lightly because the me who is typing is someone else. This is a face i put on daily to lie to myself and others that I am ok, when i am not, but if I keep pretending to be ok and to be happy then who knows maybe it will eventually happen again.)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: Um, fairy nuff.
I completely agree that we shouldn't throw these words around lightly. Someone online I saw once has really serious depression - like, they can't move, it's so bad - and so they couldn't come into work for a few days because of that. When their boss asked them where they'd been, they said they had depression, and their boss said it wasn't a proper excuse because everyone dgot depressed sometimes, and the person was just like ". . ." because they couldn't MOVE and they really didn't know what they were going to do because obviously their depression wasn't going to go away so they might end up losing their job.
This would not happen if people said they had depression when they felt a bit down occasionally. The words 'depressed' and 'depression' have been really overused and it is not good. :/

So yeah.
Bit of a tangent.
But.

Inky Flame said...

( there is still no reason to throw it around lightly K)

Inky Flame said...

(fwost fwost!)

Star Inkbright said...

@Sophia: I'm assuming you're talking about the vote in Ireland?
(If not, sorry.)

People feel proud because they had to fight for those rights. Because the world was against them and they succeeded. And they're proud of people for realising that everyone should have rights.

And, the way democracy should function is that everyone should vote on how things should be, and which laws they want passed. If there is a law that nobody wants to abide to and nobody thinks is a good idea . . . then, democracy holding true, people should be able to do something about it. And if more people don't want gay marriage than do, then you are, in theory, doing what most people want so it is, in theory, the best thing to do.

Of course, it isn't a perfect system because people can vote stupidly, but no system is perfect. And if you can rig the system for gay marriage, then you can rig the system to pass laws that are . . . less awesome. If we want the system to have any validity at all, we have to stick to it.

(That said, I am TOTALLY in favour of gay marriage. Well, I'm not so in favour of the marriage bit because I think marriage is a bit stupid, but I am TOTALLY, TOTALLY in favour of everyone's right to be married and I just wish I was older and Irish so I could vote in favour of it. :P I'm just arguing against you because I saw a good argument against you.)

Star Inkbright said...

I think if you have an issue, you should definitely tell people (people that are good to tell, I mean. Poeple that are likely to help) because it will most likely help and cannot hurt.
I . . . don't always follow my own advice on that point. I'm scared of telling people things, even simple things like "can I cut school today." But it is better too.

(But it sort of does. It's the law of THEIR country. If the law does not represent the majority it is most often wrong.)

Indeed.

How are ye?

(I don't even know how to start to tell someone I think I need it... it'll ruin everything and there is basically nothing to begin with. I don't want to scare people off with my problems, I want to be normal and right now just acting normal is the only way I can do that and it works.

someone said I was basically their best friend the other day and I judged them for it. why ? how ? I think they're wrong for it, but I smiled a real smile because she said she cared and looked like she meant it.)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: It wasn't rebellious at all! It was entirely fear-motivated! I was scared of being left to lunch on my own! I did it because I was scared of the consequences! Proper rebellion is when you act regardless of the fear-inducing consequences! I did the opposite of that!

I
can't
believe
I
did
that.

You do realise I have attended school EVERY DAY for the past three years apart from yesterday?

Oh my god
Oh my god.

(Sorry. It just hit me.)

Inky Flame said...

(why do you think there are psychiatrists and psychologists

they will help you be 'normal')

Star Inkbright said...

@Trip: I'm fine, thank you. :) Enjoying half term. :)

You?

@Conductor: Ah, everyone judges you, all the time. The difference really is if they judge you negatively or not. :)
Yes, telling someone is scary, but you'll save yourself negative emotion by doing it in the long run.

Inky Flame said...

(Awww there there Starry)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: That sounded unbelievably creepy. :P
(Sorry. I know that wasn't your intention.)

Eh . . . I would like to point out at this point that pyschiatrists and psychologists wish to bring you MORE IN THE REALM of normal in order to either reduce harm on yourself or reduce harm on others.

The argument that psychiatrists and psychologists make people 'normal' really makes me go ':/' because normal is something distasteful to me that I would really rather not be, and the fact someone might CHANGE me to make me BECOME it sounds very horrible and scary.
So I decided to edit.

(Fuck normal. It's not really the same, but my whole life a certain type of person has told me to not like what I like and just be normal. To me the word seems so abhorrent, a representation of giving up everything I've had to learn to be able to be. I own my peculiarity, but normalness is so uniform, it could never be mine.)

I'm getting a bit hungry, but I'm otherwise well thanks. :)

Star Inkbright said...

I'm sorry, Conductor . . .

I hope you feel better soon.

Inky Flame said...

(Star - Gay marriage should be a standard, not a privilege. There should be no voting, or pride about it - it should just be there. The fact that people had to vote on the ability of an entire group of people to only get married is disgusting. Marriage is a basic thing that has been around for millennia, but it has only just been applied in Ireland to thousands of people. It shows how primitive and discriminative their society is. If you wanted to get married to someone who you loved, and you were unable to - without any valid reason - would you be happy? You could see the other couples getting married - but you were unable to. Because the majority of people didn't want you to, based only whether your partner was a male or female. Is that fair?)

Inky Flame said...

(I agree

Did you hear about that Christian bakery?

It got sued because it wouldn't make a cake to support gay rights)

(Hi byii zaffy!)

Star Inkbright said...

@Sophia: I really don't understand why marriage is such a big deal, personally. I have no desire to get married whatsoever, so it's hard for me to understand why it's a right as such. I mean, I see not allowing gay people to be married as rather mild compared to not allowing people to be gay.
BUT I understand the whole marriage thing a lot better than I understand why people are so against prostitution. Seriously. Can someone help me understand this????

I was having a think after I posted my comment, and I think that really, what you need is basic equality laws that can't be changed, and then all the other laws can be voted on after that. Otherwise people could vote that a group of people couldn't vote. :o So yeah, I agree.

I also agree that it would be VERY VERY GOOD if gay marriage was legal and VERY VERY BAD if it was illegal. But I think benefits are a good thing too, and I wouldn't be surprised if people voted to get rid of them. People don't always vote the way you want them to. If you could ensure that laws were exactly as you, personally, wanted them to be, regardless of what anyone else in the country thought - that would be a dictatorship. If we want to keep democracy valid, we have to stick by it, even when it votes for very bad things.

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: Now, THAT I disagree with. Like you can't force people to care, you can't force people to support something they don't want to.
I don't knbow the circumstances, though. But if they just said, "No, I don't want to bake a cake for you, I'm sorry," then the bakery would be completely within their rights to do that, imo.

Star Inkbright said...

Of course, you could argue that democracy isn't always good, but that's a whole different argument. :)

Inky Flame said...

(I can see both sides of the arguement when it comes to the bakery case

I mean, they can choose to make what they want
It's what they believe

And also they are paid, so they should satisfy their customers

But overall I think I'm on the bakery's side
Not cause they didn't support gay marriage
Because they got used for their beliefs)

Star Inkbright said...

@Inky: Actually - if they don't bake a cake for a gay marriage, they won't get paid like they would if they did, and they might also lose popularity and more customers if they don't.
If they don't bake the cake, they should suffer the lesspopularityandmoney consequences.
But they shouldn't be forced to bake it, because you're forcing them to do somethign they don't believe it.
That is what I believe.

Star Inkbright said...

Also, I believe in free will. They should have the free will to choose not to bake the cake.

Star Inkbright said...

NOw, going to watch X-Men. :)

Tanya Halcyon (Kas) said...

@Sophia That's just your opinion. Other people might disagree.

You might say it doesn't concern them.

And, again, what concerns someone is a matter of perspective.

Jai (Silente Tempest - St Of Sinners) said...

(@Kas I.. I would have to agree with Soph.. Honestly, I think it's up to a couple if they want to get married.. It shouldn't really concern anyone else. If I got married to another female, that doesn't affect anyone except me, her, maybe my family and friends. It doesn't particularly affect someone living miles away.)
