The British shifting grade boundaries system is not all all stupid. Some tests are harder than others. If, one year, the test is really hard, everyone will get lower grade boundaries nationwide. So they shift them accordingly.
Otherwise, you might fail just because the test was harder than normal, whereas another year you might have passed. And how would that be fair?
On some lanvuages tests I've got 32 out of 45 and got an A and other times I've got 25 out of 45 and got an A. If the grade boundaries didn't shift, then I might have got a C when I got the 25, despute the fact it was a really hard test and so harder for me to do well.
(I don't trust anything he says but "did you miss me?" he at least has to make a cameo... -i suppose it could be a thing that mycroft made up to keep him here but as soon as it's realized that he's not alive then sherlock will just be sent back on the plane.)

It's. HARD. Japanese grammar is completely opposite to English. They have the objects before the verb. Korean is the same.

Also, on the topic of Japanese, speaking is easy. /Writing and reading/ is SUPER hard! They have three different alphabets you need to learn(I, myself, only know how to read one of them, and even then, I forget some of the letters), and kanji is Japanese/Chinese characters and they have SO MANY MEANINGS. DX
