A few hours ago I was sent the finalists for the Gordon Edgley Book Review competition, where people had to review books that they (or anyone else) had never actually read. These reviews were BRILLIANT. We got some of the best, most imaginative responses back, and it was not easy picking winners.
But picking winners is what I had to do, and so the winners are Patricia Snake, Sophie Carter, Ella Corkum and Katie Roberts-Malpass.
Huge congratulations to the winners, and a huge congratulations to EVERYONE who entered. You have kept me entertained...!

Minerve: No. *raises her hand and shadows form around Silente, forming black chains and restraining her*
Right here we go *shadow walks to ed's ice palace thing, we here *looks at the bodies* which interior designer did he use.
*struggles against the chains*

Minerve: Hold out your tongue, mortal.
*runs up stairs * Ed!
*clamps her mouth shut pointedly*

Minerve: Then make sure I don't have a reason to hate them.

*sticks her tongue as far out as it'll go, closing her eyes so she can't see what min plans to do*
E: Gar, you think you will succeed where they failed?
Minerve: *shadows form a short sword in her hands, and slices off Silente's tongue*

*cries out and pulls what remains of her tongue back into her mouth, glaring at Min*
E: *Has an evil look in eye* You know, before I met you, I only tried to destroy the universe. You brought out the good in me.

Ok taw, *walks over to inks and whispers* keep him distracted I'll stop the missiles.

Cole: *mutters* your her mate dammit *shouts* and you don't know the first thing about her! Inky is the most honest person you will ever meet
Minerve: Do you think this will have taught you to behave?
E: *Points gun at Gar* Don't move *finger hovers over launch button*

Minerve: *raises her blade, and slices through Silente's fingers*

*cries out at the loss of her fingers, pulling against the chains in an attempt to get away from Min*

(Good luck - if her body is destroyed, she simply returns to her realm - thus gaining nothing. Hence why Phaestra was able to come back after being killed by Minerve, and Minerve being able to come back after being killed by Phaestra.)
Minerve: Do you have to lose any more limbs or digits or will you behave?
