I'm going to one in New Hampshire, and it's called Another Anime Con. I though it was small at first but I don't think it's as small as I think it is. Also, a couple voice actors that I'm a big fan of are going to have panels there, so I'm really looking forward to it. *sips tea* Ahh.
*hi fives* I love him! I found clips of him on YouTube proposing to a grell cosplayer and saying 'Claude Faustus looks dead sexy in a mini skirt' I found another clip where he is talking about the nun scene!!!
@Star: I don't know, because I'd imagine there's more work later in the year than the first few weeks, logically. I think most people take four, a lot seem to drop to three for one reason or another, either early or after AS. A lot of people also take only three in the first place, but I don't see many with five. When my maths teacher found out we had the OPTION to take five, though, she didn't understand why people didn't do that, because why wouldn't you want to get as many A-Levels as you want?? But it's about workload, I guess. And what you want to do. Idk.
If you think you might want to do five - do. Because you can always drop one ((or two..!) at any time if you don't like it, or it's too much work.
I. AM. AAAAAAAALLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
(Hello all you lovely people)
(@Star Last year you could get a year of an A Level course done and then if it was too much you could leave and still have an AS Level. This year though... well, 5 A Levels is not impossible. It's about time, really, as you'll lose so much of it.)
*has just oven-baked a frozen pizza, hopes it's good*
@Chloe: Oh, right. It's a shame you have to stay back on your half day - I guess you have to wait a while for the meetings?
We get an hour's lesson each day per subject, set out just like our lower-school timetable, so you wouldn't get a half-day unless you only did three subjects, or if your teachers weren't in, or something. With four subjects, I get an hour free every day, unless there are changes because of science practicals and things. :)
@Star: *nods* :) *Would probably say wait a little longer than the first week, because I don't think the first week is very representative, but it probably depends on why you're dropping, idk*
Hi Garrett! Welcome back! :) I'm good, thanks! Need to do work, though. I keep saying that and then not doing it. :P How're you?
(The thing is, these big macho men do Tabata, so how do you think two teenage girls cope? ^^ it is hilerious though. I want to try surfin so I signed up for it in college)
@Chloe: I did karate for a few years, and I've done a few self-defence classes since. Trouble is, I'm not very good at following visual instructions, so I don't catch on very well. Thanks, though. :)
@Star: *laughs* Yeah, lots of words are. But we hadn't learned coat, either. :P And I think it was a listening paper, rather than reading, which made it less easy to tell than seeing the word.
@Chloe: :P Brave. :P ^^ I always thought surfing sounds fun. I hope it is. :) The closest we have is kayaking, which I also did for a several years. :P ^^
@Garrett: Like, High Intensity Interval Training. ^^
(yup taia its the b.f.g, i remember watching it with my cousin when we were younger and laughing at the song because it was so funny, i still laugh at it now but i understand how they are flying :) )
I am back! Sorry bout that Flick I fell asleep then there was food then drying up then crying then running around changing outfits then mascara then straightening hair and now in back and my back aches for some reason..
@Star: Aw. :( No, me neither. :P But I always said that my German/Welsh speaking is no worse than my English speaking. :P
I remember after I did one of the spoken assessments, and after she turned off the recorder my teacher just looked at me like O_O and said 'wHY are you sO NERVOUS?' And I was like I AM 93% FEAR, IS THAT SO HARD TO ACCEPT? :P
@Garrett: *laughs* :) :) :)
@StarPt2: :) ... I think I like that it's a palindrome, but the sounds themselves are different. :)
So yeah, we're not really going to go on any of the rides at goose fair this year because they've all gotten old now and there's never any new ones. We might go to the Alton towers scarefest instead though, which would be cool.
We're still going to go though. For the sake of donuts and churros :P
Phaestra: You will either agree or disagree. Further actions to change or discuss the terms of the deal will be taken as a sign that you will not cooperate and you will wear that ring for the rest of your life.

:)
HELLO INKY
HOW'RE YOU?
Also, you're both older than me. How hard would taking five subjects at AS level be? Because C seems to think that she'll manage it fine but idk.
:)
Hi Taia!
I'm fine, thanks. :) You?
I am good. 5 is an awful lot I started off with five but dropped one.
@Inky: *nods slowly* Thank you.
If you think you cn handle it, go for it
@Star: I don't know, because I'd imagine there's more work later in the year than the first few weeks, logically.

@Taia: Okay. *nods* Thank you. :)
*nods at Inky* Thanks, again. :)
No problemo
* as many A-Levels as you CAN ^^
@Chloe: *nods* I signed up for five in the first place, but never planned on keeping them all.
I like having free periods. 'cause I'm lazy. C:
(speaking of which, I need to remember to see about timetable change tomorrow. *writes that on her hand*)
I have half days on Wednesday but have to stay in for the Kenya project meeting
And on Thursdays I have a three hour break between lectures
Regenmantel

Regenmantel
*mutters*
@Taia: Yeahhhhhh I'm lazy too, so. XD
Well, I may as well sign up for five, then. *shrugs*
That's good star, see how you do for the first few weeks and then drop whatever
*nods at Inky* :)
Okay, one decision down, several more to go . . . :)

Hello Tia)

Glad you caught it after)
@Chloe: Oh, right. It's a shame you have to stay back on your half day - I guess you have to wait a while for the meetings?

And, sounds fun - I hope you have a good time. :) ^^
Okay, Ed. ^^
@Tia: YAAAAAAAAAY ON BEING ALIVE!
Thank you. :)
Um, that's one of the decisions I haven't made yet. :P
Okay, thanks, Taia. :)
Sorry I'm distant. Practising vocab.

Welcomes Ed *sighs* my friend is going with me and my other friend to Tabata tonight. He doesn't do any sports or anything... It'll kill him
(Oh, well good luck. See how far he gets before collapsing)
@Star: Raincoat! :)
I remember learning that one after nobody got it in one of the past papers. :P
@Chloe: That'd be cool. :)
*laughs* It'd kill me, too. xD
*needs to find an exercise-inclusive pasttime O_O*
(Haha well, it is pretty intense
It kills me and I'm active but ican do the burpees)
Why don't you try Kung fu Taia? It is fun
(Or any martial art)
@Taia: :)
Yay.
It's actually kind of obvious . . . regen, rain. And I already know mantel, coat . . .
Sparkasse, now. Savings bank. :P
(Back in half an hour)
(The thing is, these big macho men do Tabata, so how do you think two teenage girls cope? ^^ it is hilerious though. I want to try surfin so I signed up for it in college)
(Kay Ed, I'll be gone in half an hour but back by 8)
(what is tabata?)
I better go now
Be back later ^^
@Garrett: THE B.F.G! xD
And I think it was a listening paper, rather than reading, which made it less easy to tell than seeing the word.
Sparkasse wasn't one that we learned. ^^
(Oh
Tabata is like circuits but on the spot)
(ok thx :)
@Taia: :/
Yeah.
I'm not good with speaking or listen . . . :P
@Chloe: :P
Brave. :P ^^
I always thought surfing sounds fun. I hope it is. :) The closest we have is kayaking, which I also did for a several years. :P ^^
@Garrett: Like, High Intensity Interval Training. ^^
See you Ed, Chloe! *waves*
(yup taia its the b.f.g,
i remember watching it with my cousin when we were younger and laughing at the song because it was so funny, i still laugh at it now but i understand how they are flying :) )
*listening
Kayaking . . .
I like the word kayak.
I am back!
Sorry bout that Flick I fell asleep then there was food then drying up then crying then running around changing outfits then mascara then straightening hair and now in back and my back aches for some reason..
(Hello Soph.)
(Hello, Silente. How are you?)
(Apart from the slight back ache and the bruise forming on my arm I am good.
You?)
(hello soph
(hello sil
(Hey Gar)
(wanna continue soph?)
@Star: Aw. :( No, me neither. :P
But I always said that my German/Welsh speaking is no worse than my English speaking. :P
I remember after I did one of the spoken assessments, and after she turned off the recorder my teacher just looked at me like O_O and said 'wHY are you sO NERVOUS?' And I was like I AM 93% FEAR, IS THAT SO HARD TO ACCEPT? :P
@Garrett: *laughs* :) :) :)
@StarPt2: :) ... I think I like that it's a palindrome, but the sounds themselves are different. :)
Hi Sophia! How are you? :)
*hugs Silente*
Hey. :)
How're you doing?
(Hello Taia. I'm average. Yourself?
Continue which one, Silente?)
Um, hello?
(Hello, Sykamere.)
I'm good, thanks Sophia. :)
Hello, Sykamere!
How are you?
WBD - just realized how much homework I have to do D:
Ah, the comment actually appeared this time. I tried a few times before but it wasn't working for some reason.
(Hey Syk)
(@Soph the Phaestra one.)
I'm fine-ish.
I just realized that it's been about a year now since I first appeared on blogland so I thought I'd come back.
Also, goose fair is here again.
(Alright.)
Phaestra: *appears in a flash of light that solidifies into her form*
*Walks over to Phaestra, piggybacking her father*
Hey.
@Syk: Oh, that's odd. Good that it's working now, at least. :)
And, happy about-blogversary! :) :) :)
Goose fair? ^^
Phaestra: Has your father decided to accept my deal?
Essentially it's just a really big fair in Nottingham.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XkDdpAuvHY
*looks at her father over her shoulder, both eyebrows raised*
Papa: *glares at Phaestra* I have decided that negotiation would be smart.
Phaestra: So promise, mortal.
Papa: I said negotiate no promise.
Pa..
Phaestra: There will be no negotiation. I have told you the deal - that will not be changing.
Papa: I would like to discuss the terms.
Phaestra: There will be no discussion. You will either agree or disagree.
(Back, distantly)
Papa: I would like to discuss. There is no harm done in discussing.
@Syk: Oh, right. Will you be going? :) ^^
(sorry for distance, h/w)
Phaestra: I am acknowledging the fact you would like to discuss, I am simply ignoring it.
So yeah, we're not really going to go on any of the rides at goose fair this year because they've all gotten old now and there's never any new ones.
We might go to the Alton towers scarefest instead though, which would be cool.
We're still going to go though. For the sake of donuts and churros :P
Papa: That's rather rude
Phaestra: You cannot speak, mortal. Do you agree to my deal or not?
Papa: As I said I would like to discuss the terms.
*We're still going to go to goose fair for the sake of donuts and churros.
Things make more sense when they're in my head. I only realize how confusing they are later :/
@Syk: *laughs* Yeah, I get that. I hope you have fun, whatever you end up doing. :)
(And, no worries, I got what you meant the first time. :) ^^ )
Phaestra: You will either agree or disagree. Further actions to change or discuss the terms of the deal will be taken as a sign that you will not cooperate and you will wear that ring for the rest of your life.
(I will be back soon.)
(KK I'm going out in a quater of an hour so I mightn't be here when you return, not sure when I'll get back.)
Papa: *smiles as opposed to glaring* I am not asking much
I just realized touch screens respond to wires O_O
O_O
GTG
Bye Sil.
@Syk: O_O
That's... inconvenient?
Bye, Silente!
It's not really inconvenient. It's just weird which is cool because I like weird things :)
Lol, I tried on my iPod, the wire didn't work. :P
*nods* Weird is good. :) ^^
WB, Sophia. :)
(Thank you, Taia.)
((... *frowns*
Bonus tracks are annoying.
Because you get some albums where the way they end is RIGHT, and it's ending and it's good.
And then the bonus track jumps in out of nowhere, and messes everything up. :P))
No problem, Sophia. :) ^^
I'm pretty sure the wire has to have electricity running through it. Also you have to push it a bit harder than you normally would with you're finger.
@Syk: Huh. 'S'not working for me. Maybe I'm not magic enough. :P
(Bye Sil)
It appears to respond very well to magnets so I'm assuming it responds to magnetic fields.
Also I was using my headphones so the wire was pretty thin.
@Taia: I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN
@Taia: It might be the thickness of the wire - idk. :)
*nods at what Sykamere said; it comfirms my point*
@Sykamere: Ah, that might make sense. :)
*tried a few thicknesses, though. Could also be the material, however*
:)
*The second part being also @Star, I think :)* ^^
I got a picture of goose fair from my bedroom window. I've set it as my profile pic so you should be able to see it.
*nods at Taia*
@Sykamere: :)
I guess it's like our Hull Fair.
Which . . . is a fair we have . . . in Hull . . .
Largest travelling fair in Europe! :)
Or mayeb not. Wiki says 'one of the largest'.
O_O
THE WORLD LIED TO ME
*funfair
Try using a magnet. If that doesn't work then the screen on my tablet probably works differently.
(It may not be wise to use a magnet near an electronic device.)
Yeah, I guess it might be a bad idea...
(*jumps through window* hello everybody
how are you all?)
(Hello Garrett - I am average, yourself?)
(Hello my darlings XD)
(Hello Inky, how are you? Did your friend collapse?)
