I had meant to write a well thought-out, reasoned, logical-yet-impassioned blog entry about this... but I still haven't figured out how to do that. So I can tell that this little entry is going to be, y'know... slightly rambling.
I want my nieces to grow up in a world where they can do anything they want to do.
Obviously, right? That's what we'd all like. Duh.
What I don't want is for them to grow up and have their options curtailed by their gender. What I don't want is for their attitudes towards men and women, boys and girls, their own selves, to be decided by a society, and a media, that is slanted.
Big Books for Boys are about adventure and exploration. Big Books for Girls are about makeup and looking pretty.
My niece Becca is 4. Becca loves pink. She loves princesses. She wasn't BORN loving pink and loving princesses — she learned that. She learned it from the people around her, from the TV she watches, from the other kids at the school-type place she goes to. And you can see it. You can see it happening. People go up to her and the first thing they say, the FIRST thing, is "Oh, don't you look ADORABLE!"
Boom. Now she thinks that her physical appearance is THE most important thing about her. Now whenever she's wearing a new dress she always runs up to me and says "Derek, look at my dress!"
I don't want my nieces thinking their looks are the only things that matter. For their birthday, the twins got a big dollhouse. It is, admittedly, awesome (if you like dollhouses). And I knew they were getting the dollhouse, so I went to buy them dolls. I bought them a princess doll and a mermaid doll, because Becca loves princesses and Emily loves mermaids. But I also got them an Annikin Skywalker doll, with lightsaber and sound effects, and an Iron Man doll. So now Iron Man has tea with Princess Barbie (and by all accounts, he's loving it) and the future Darth Vader (spoiler alert) sits awkwardly on the couch with Mermaid Barbie.
I buy them toys for boys because I don't want them limited by what toy companies tell them they can be.
(Er, not that a princess, a mermaid, a Sith Lord or a super hero is an achievable goal anyway... well, maybe the super hero...)
And then I start thinking about my books because, well, my books are awesome and deserve to be thought about. I think I've done well, all in all. The decision to have the main character be a teenage girl wasn't a decision at all — it's just something that fit. I've also worked very hard to refrain from idealising Valkyrie. Having a female main character but treating her like she's this flawless wonder is as damaging and disingenuous as the very things I've been trying to avoid. But treating her like a real person? Giving her an ego, an arrogance, a selfishness that we'd all have in her situation? That's FAIR.
But I've also failed, in certain ways. I've given in, without even thinking. Val is pretty, for a start. Was that necessary? No, not really. I could have made her plain. I could have taken away the height, the slimness, the little dimple when she smiles... But I didn't. Yes, the pretty fictional character is based on my pretty real-life friend, but I could have changed THAT aspect, right? Only, I'm as biased as anyone else. I like beauty. I like a pretty face. I like Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey. I admire them as people, as fighters, as athletes — but would I pay them this much attention if I didn't also appreciate how they look?
I'm as bad as anyone, but the thing is, I'm trying NOT to be.
So while you're digesting all this, and figuring out if what I'm saying has ANY relevance to ANYTHING, I want you think about Captain America: Winter Soldier. You all know what a huge comics fan I am. Most of you know that I own the shield he used in the first movie. I am REALLY looking forward to the sequel, and nothing will stop me from going to see it.
But seeing as how I'm talking about how women are valued primarily on their looks, I'd like you to take a peek at the posters released. Here's Cap, looking pensive...
And Nick Fury, also looking pensive...
And here's Black Widow, looking... wow.
Is that it? Is that her only worth?
In some ways, I'm old fashioned. I believe in old-fashioned things. I believe men should be strong. If they can't be strong physically then they must be strong morally. I believe men should hold the door for women, should stand up from the table when they walk over, and they should, when possible, pay for dinner. I also believe that men and women are equal in every way that's important.
So when I ask "Is that her only worth?", I'm not asking that from a feminist's perspective. I'm asking it from a man's perspective. The Black Widow is a secret agent, a spy, an assassin, and a hero... so why can't she be pensive in a series of pensive posters? Why does she have to adopt the sexy pose?
If any of my nieces grow up to be a secret agent, a spy, an assassin or a hero, I'm going to be as proud of them as if they grow up to be a princess or a mermaid. But I'm going to have to insist that they be given the opportunity to be WHATEVER they want to be, and those kinds of opportunities begin with me — the writer, the creator — and with you — the reader, the consumer. Don't settle for less. Don't settle at all.

I dedicate this page to the past. The past can often shapes our futures. It can also shape who we become. Some people live in the past, liking the comfort. Some people resent their pasts, blaming it for their current situation. But its not the cause of your future. It helps but consequently your past is over. You can't change it. But you can learn from it. It can teach us valuable lessons. It can hold our fondest memories. It is always there but in some ways that's a good thing. So yeah I dedicate this page to the past.
Hear hear :)
:-)
*stares down at her hands as the song she was playing drift to a finish*
*smiles and stands*
Bye guys. I have to go now. The night calls :-)
*cuddles dynamite* YAAAY
Derek Landy YOU ARE MY HERO!!! As if I needed another reason to admire you!!! But reading this, you really do have a feminist perspective! men can be feminists too, and this is a very feminist post! Be proud of it!! I've always loved your books precisely because I am a feminist, and they're one of the only non-sexist pieces of literature out there!
Bye Silente!
Bai Silente
Bye Silente.
I think I might leave too...I've been so distant so... BYE EVERYONE!
Have a wonderful rest-of-your-day!
You too Amethyst! bye!
Cya Amethyst
Dang its quiet
Mhm, I suppose we could change that
*pokes everyone with darkness*
Derek I love you so much...
As an author but also because of how much you care (like I and my parents do) about allowing people to be whomever they want. It's a hard thing to achieve but I think you are doing a fantastic job!
I don't really follow that sort of stuff that much, but that is just typical. Personally, I would much rather she be blowing someone's head off in that image. It'd suit her character better, no?
I agree Trip
Well that escalated rather quickly Trip
But is it not true?
Nobody has been on for over an hour.
What the hell is wrong with you people?
THIS is what I've been saying to everyone for the last 3 years. I need to show this post to my friends. *nods*
(Btw, it's also the reason I've gone on a strike against dresses. Kinda. Also, because it is literally impossible to do karate in a dress)
I'm just here to say: I LOVE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW DEREK, OMGG
I just watched the most bizzare ending to a race.
Its 2 laps to go and a caution is out, now the guy in the flag tower never waved it the flag he had was green, but the lights on the track to alert drivers were yellow signalling the caution. Nobody knows why it was called. Nascar never called it. Well the field is in caution mode they're 70MPH ect, it starts downpouring. Now they have 3 attempts to restart the race and call it a green white checkered, they race 503/500 laps and they call it a race while the yellow flag is out. How the hell did that happen? Technically halfway through they can call it but they were going under the green white checkered rules and there wasnt an attempt, as for the caution nobody knows why it came out and it may hve been short circutting from the rain today. Very odd.
And Zaffy go to sleep now, the driver i like was in like 20th so meh. But god im so lost
What a thoughtful post. I already knew from your writing that you appreciate women as the strong creatures we are. Both mentally and physically.
As for little girls growing up, mine made their own choices. I dressed them in all sorts of colours, not just pink and blue. My eldest daughter was very girlie, playing with her dolls and wearing fancy dresses. My youngest daughter is a bit of a tomboy. She likes girls and boys toys and totally hates wearing dresses.
That's cool. They both have the personalities they do because I let them chose for themselves.
I hope my female protagonists reflect good things too, but of course everyone (even characters) have their flaws.
There knce was a place called Blogland
Where people would call you a friend
But if you said the wrong thing
Then you'd be out of the ring
And you might as well just be banned.
Sorry if this sounds a little negative, but I just wanted to point out how much this place has changed. It used to be a sanctuary, where everyone and everything was exepted, but now it feels like a normal society, where people judge you. I dont want anyone to jump down my throat for this. Because it's true.
I'm going to practice my AP English image-analysis skills here:
-Look at the Nick Fury poster. He's leaning forwards, glaring you in the eye. The lines of the image lead up to his face so that that's what you look at--the way his arms are slanted and the plane behind his head especially. His posture and expression just resonate power and authority.
--Now look at Black Widow. Her posture shoves her boobs out in front of the rest of her body. First thing you see: boobs. The lines of the image--her arms, her legs, her skinny waist--lead up to her boobs. They're the centerpiece. What's more, her head's tilted back so that you can't see her face as well--like it's not her face or her expression that matters, it's the way her hair flutters in the wind and her sexy body that is pushed to the front. The lighting of the piece also accentuates her curves, putting highlights on her legs, hips, and breasts and emphasizing her form. And she also looks totally posed. I mean, they all look a little bit posed, but at least Nick Fury's looking at you. He's serious as a heart attack. Black Widow's just kind of zoning out, staring off into space.
Okay, I think my English teacher would be proud. :)
I just showed this post, and my comment on it, to my dad, who agreed with it except for one thing: as a writer and a reader, he pointed out that readers tend to live vicariously through books. And if he's going to live vicariously through a book, he wants the main character to be at least somewhat cooler than he is. Skulduggery, for instance, is ridiculously witty. I'm sure a lot of readers would LOVE to have his sense of humor. For those of us living vicariously through Valkyrie, it's kind of nice to have a character who's stronger and prettier than we are (or at least stronger and prettier than me). Besides, it's a valid strategy for book sales. Sad, but true. I personally like that Valkyrie is kind of a jerk, but I also like that she's pretty. It's just a nice touch and I don't think it detracts from the books at all, and it's definitely not the first thing I think of when I think of her. And she has to be skinny if she works out as much as she does!
I was always the dashing heroine, dashing in to save the prince (aka, my brother) from the vicious lion (aka, my chubby cat). I've always hated the stereotype of girls and pink and princesess. Sooo... I rebeled.
I like this better.
Okay Derek, I don't think you'll read this but I'll write it anyway. First thing is: I want to hug you for this post. Twice, maybe three times. Second thing is: Don't worry about your nieces that much. When I was a kid, I loved pink. My room was pink. Hell, I still love pink. And... my cousin and me, we played with Barbies all the time. But you know what sort of plays that were? We were witches, super heroes, teenage girls who were detectives and hunting mafia bosses, locked in a ghost house (damn, that thing was really creepy, now I think about it). They may be having tea parties now, but only because they're playing princesses, it doesn't mean they are the princesses getting saved by the prince. Giving them action heroes to play with is awesome, though.
Oh, and one more thing: Do they have Mulan? The Disney movie? If not, I suggest to give it to them. Girl who is no princess goes to war to protect her father, saves her romantic interest and ends up saving China. Hehe.
Third thing: Society is obsessed with looks. This is an universal truth people try to deny sometimes, but it's true. In this world, you either need a look or a voice that's halfway to pleasant to get a job, friends or a smile from the bar keeper. It's nature, so if little girls start being obsessed with their looks from the age of four, maybe it's not that bad and maybe it will only prepare them for reality.
Oh, and fourth: I was on the book convention in Leipzig yesterday (you remember, where all the people playing dress up) and I did not only see someone who was dressed up as ten, I also saw two Skulduggerys! You didn't see them because you weren't there, meanie.
i need to talk to people right now...
What's wrong Snow?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MITHRIA FAITH
Even though she won't see it for a while.
i just need conversation from someone none judgemental.
i'll be going to school in 10 minutes D:
I'm sorry... I'm in Admin first 2 so i'll be able to talk to you when I get to school.
gtg
I couldn't have said it better myself! You are an inspiration! Happy St Patrick's day
I couldn't have said it better myself! You are an inspiration! Happy St Patrick's day
My friend thinks she's been stalked by the creepypasta's.... though from some of the evidence she's shown me, I am inclined to believe her. I might be going to her house for a camp-out in the easter break... if she's not dead by then.
Hey guys
Andddddddd no one is on. Of course.
This post makes me proud to be alive.
(I once went looking for Slenderman in my old uncle's creepy forest/really, really enormous backyard that is completely covered with trees and that's, like, twenty times bigger than his actual house)
((hey Em!))
(Heya! How're you doing?)
((Bored, in Admin - computing class, you?))
Greetings, Miss Asahina. How have you been faring?
I am well.
Hello Mycroft.
I've been doing fine, just bored and stuff.
*nods*
What, exactly, does one learn in computing class?
How to use Spreadsheets, Databases, How to write letters, how to e-mail, Powerpoints and e diaries. Broing.
boring**
You mean to say that your school expects you to not know how to write an email?
You could look up any of these things in a few seconds on the internet.
Furthermore, these programs are designed to be figured out by a fat half-wit sitting at his desk hung over from the previous night. I think you can figure out how to use it by yourself like a big girl.
Exactly. The written stuff is about contracts of employment and health and safety and travel and accommodation and things like that. Even more boring.
(Oh, and on the subject of this post, I embrace the fact that I'm female. Normally, I wear pants, but I love skirts and elegant dresses and jewelry and looking nice.)
(I've never felt the need to NOT be anything feminine. It's my choice. Other people feel differently.)
Of course.
Any child needs to learn how to book accommodation and travel so they can run away from home and start a ninja army.
(Gtg!)
((Bye Em! thanks for keeping me company ^.^))
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear Mithria
Happy birthday to you
*sings to self*
Oh. My. GOD. This entry expresses pretty much all of my feminist views and my whole LIFE in ONE ENTRY. And I SO agree with the Captain America poster things, but I still can't wait for it to come out. Adavanced screening tickets :D
And I LOVE Anakin Skywalker! I HAVE to see pictures!
((gtg, the bell is about to go for interval, i won't be back untill after school in like 4 hours.))
271st!!!!! (I think...)
And Jedi-TARDIS-Chick101, I couldn't have said it better!
Nobody's on? (if you /are/ on and I just haven't seen you, sorry)
*grabs a magical pony flying through the sky* *saddles it up* *mounts* *canters through the blue (not the ocean, the sky)* *falls off* *splats*
Well done, me. :P
*gives Derek Landy a hug*
I love you, Derek Landy. Don't ever change.
Absolutely brilliant post! Thank you for doing this. One thing did strike me oddly though, near the end "I'm not asking from a feminist's perspective. I'm asking from a man's perspective." No matter the intention, this seems to suggest that there is a line between men and feminists. There's not. There are a lot of male feminists, because feminism is about the pursuit of intersectional gender equity. In other words, whether you like it or not, this post was a feminist rant, and it was an awesome one.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day
Happy St. Patrick's day everyone
Hey guys! Happy saint Patricks day even though I don't know who he is or what he did!
look it up, Silente
I did. It said he was a slave for six year then escaped. The he returned to Ireland and educated the people in christiantity. Wait. Ireland? Its THAT saints day? One minute!
*rushes off to another room*
*returns wear in a lime green dress with four leaf clovers woven in to it*
*its prettyer than it sounds*
Okay better. Anyway hey chio! How are you?
I'm good, and you?
I'm good thanks! Today's dragged on a bit though and I really wanted to punch our french sub in the face but other than that it was fine!
Um...good? I guess...
Today was ok for me, I was talking to Em during Admin, English I was writing an essay, german I was practicing for our speaking test on Wednesday and Cooking for life we had no teacher so I added to my fanfiction. I really shouldn't post the new chapter on Mithria's birthday...she might cry. Someone dies.
SOMEONE DIES?!?!
Mhmm...
Well technically, they have a mind, just not a body.
Nooo! Spoilers!
*covers ears* I CANT HEAR YOU!
*walks around with eyes closed singing a nonsense tune very loudly*
*walks into a tree*
*walks into chio*
*trips over a root*
*sits back up*
*peeks up at laughing chio*
*removes hands* shhh! No spoilers!
*gets up*
*glares at the tree*
*glares at the roots*
*glares at chio*
*tickles chio as punishment*
Greetings.
Ahhhhhhhhhh no Silente no! *bursts out laughing*
Wow.
Sit, Derek.
Thank you.
And, thank you.
And-
Thank you.
I don't know how to say what I want to, so just... that.
And, yeah. :)
I'm so glad I got to read that.
I'm so glad that you shared it, because I'm so glad that other people got/get to read that. People of varying ages and genders and personalities and experiences and all of the particulars.
Because it's important. Being given the opportunity to be whoever and whatever you could be is important.
You said you're as bad as anyone, but that you're trying not to be.
Thank you for trying.
Thank you for sharing.
You rock, guy.
:)

((Hey Em!))
Hello Mycroft
I'm afraid I have yet to even make a small gift for my dear wife...
*sighs loudly, resisting the urge to facedesk into a large pile of paperwork*
Greetings, Miss Asahina.
(Heyyyyyyo!)
Hey Taia hey em
*looks at chio still tickling her* no more spoilers?
As have I Mycroft, I haven't started her drawing. I will do it in a minute, writing an English Essay just now. I also have finished a short story I was writing for my blog. I finished it for Mithria so I hope she likes it. - Warning to anyone who doesn't like Valduggery -
No spoilers! I get it! *sighs*
(Why is it now Chio? Where did the o come from?)
Yes, but I happen to be her husband, while you, hopefully, are not.
*stops tickling her* good girl
*pats her head and backs off*
Anyway hey people! How are you all?
*facepalms*
@Derek: You don't have to sit. There was supposed to be an 'h' in there.
(Maybe my typos make for good censorship, though..?) :P
Hey, Silente! :)
Hi Chione! :)
Hi Ember/Mycroft! :)
I might be here, distantly.
#ChaseForBook9
Then you sir, are in the bad books. She will be very disappointed. Even more so than if I don't do this drawing for her. But you are her husband! Even though she won't say anything because she is so kind, she will feel horrible on her birthday.
I am faring absolutely splendidly.
(OMG apparently splendidly is actually a WORD)
(I mean, I know it's a word, but it looks so funny written down, like splendiddle-diddle-diddle)
I always call her chio. Some people shorten it to chi instead.
((I have no idea, maybe it was Blake who added the 'o', It used to be Chi. Tbh I like Chi better but oh well.))
You didn't know splendidly was a..omg that looks so weird! It has didly in it. Its weird!
*stares at the word splendidly*
(I know, right!)
(Chio, chio, chio by the sea-o...)
(Also, hi Taia!!!)
Oh you do prefer Chi? Okay then. I think I might be poofing for food..
Yep food time! Bbs!
Ok Silente!
*sighs* My portrayer doesn't even know what she's going to write for my wife... what would be suitably tasteful, yet not completely reserved? I'm afraid I'm not sure.
(See you later!)
(I'm actually eating dinner right now :p)
((ok bye guys, thanks for just leaving me you know. Kidding, I'm busy writing the Essay anyway.))
(I'm not leaving!!)
((I was kidding anyway Em :)))
I adore the responses to this post. :)
The ones that say thank you and how awesome it was.
Yeah.
(I love them because it's heartwarming to see that people appreciate awesomeness. :))
#ChaseForBookNine
(*huggles Star*)
Greetings, Miss Inkbright.

*whips out birthday cake with seveneen candles on*
*shakes head*
I told you yesterday, Em. I don't need presents for my birthday! The best present is that you can stay for a while!
Oh god, Silente! Thank you so much!
*hugs tightly*
Watch the cake!
*hugs mir carefully* now quick, blow out the candles before they ruin the icing!
My mum sings happy birthday in German differently to that . . . *shrugs*
I mean, it's actually Swiss-German, but.
*waves to Mithria* Happy birthday!!! :) :)
Sorry, distant. D:
#ChaseForBookNine
(She has to go talk to relatives)
I shall blow them out on her behalf. *blows gently, trying not to spit on the cake*
*stands behind Mithria as she's about to blow out the candles*
(Hi, Pine!)
It might be because I used Google to translate it from English to German....
Anyway, candles!
(She's not here right now.)
No em, mir needs to blow them out so she gets the wish silly!
If you were a superhero, what power would you have?
Well, I don't know how to spell the version I know, so. XD
#ChaseForBookNine
I don't believe in superheroes.
#ChaseForBookNine
MITHRIA!
*megabirthdaytacklehugsofhappiness*
I hope your day's going wonderfully. And continues wonderfully.
And is generally wonderful.
But also specifically wonderful.
ANd, yes.
Happy birthday. :)
#ChaseForBook9
Food brb.
Then we shall wait!
*walks and puts the cake on a tablet*
*pulls out the melting candles*
*puts out the flames*
*puts the candles back in with matches next to them for when mir comes back *
((*on a table not a tablet...))
(Pine, in response to your question, I would be able to manipulate people's feelings, thoughts, and emotions... without them knowing it.)
(Mycroft's her husband, he can blow out her candles if he wants to! But yah :P)
Darn, I missed Mith? D'you know if she's heading back here again soon, Ember? ^^
Hi, Dragona! :)
Hey, Star! :)
#ChaseForBook9
Superpower? That's a tricky question. Probably the ability to change into any animal, mythical or real...
(Yes, as soon as she can.)
God, sorry for disappearing!!! Thank you Em, Chio, Silente, Star and Taia!! *pulls everyone into a big group hug*
(I gotta go for dinner now but I'll be back as soon as possible! Sorry for the candles, Silente!)
(Actually, maybe that's why I love Mycroft so much... *is talking about my superpower*)
(Speak of the "devil"!)
The candles will wait mir! Go eat food!
Em, Mycroft can't blow out the candles husband or not! That would break tradition! Its the birthday persons job. :-) *nods*
@Ember: Alrighty, thanks. :)
Mith! *hugs* See you later. :)
Distant!
#ChaseForBook9
*blows out giant candle*
(I wish that I knew what Mycroft's birthday was... :( )
(I mean when.)
(I'm back!)
(SUMMON THE CAKE *clicks fingers*)
Well one website says November 7th, actually that's the only answer I can find...it doesn't say in the Benedict Cumberbatch series I don't think...
Ah mir!
*grabs the cake and lighter*
*throws the lighter to em* light them please!
*holds still with the cake*
*smiles, watching both of them*
*looks at Mycroft who is looking at the cake*
*laughs*
*hugs Mithria* Happy Birthday Sister.
((*throws the lighter to Mycroft))
((Not to em))
Come on! Light the candles!
*smiles are mir* don't forget to make a wish!
*hugs Chi back*
Aw, thank you so much!
AMEN!
I wrote a special story Sister, I finished it for your birthday i'll post it later. I hope you ship valduggery...
Hey Valice
((Did em disappear?))
*throws a different lighter to Chi*
Would you?
(Omg, really?? Thank you thank you thank you!! *hugs again*)
I will. *lights each of the candles and stands back for Mithria to blow them out*
*whispers*close your eyes and make a wish!
((I'm guessing you like Valduggery then. Good good. I would have wrote the next chapter up but someone dies and I don't want you to be upset so i'll post it tomorrow))
*smiles*
*looks at the cake*
*takes a deep breath and blows out the candles*
Whoo! Hip hip!
*opens eyes again*
*starts grinning*
Or not..
*walks off to the table*
*methodically removes the candle*
Mir you wanna cut the cake?
*is all smiles*
May I?
Sure
*moves aside and hands her the knife*
Be careful.
*smiles and stands next to Chi*
*grins at Mithria and Silente*
*carefully cuts the cake into pieces*
*gets some plates*
Who wants cake?
You have the first slice sister. It's your birthday.
Yes, it's my birthday. And I decide that we all will have cake togehter. *smiles and gives out plates with cake to everyone*
*nods agreeing with Chi * yeah mir, you get the first slice
Fine
*takes the plate*
*sits down*
*grins*
*takes the last plate*
I'll save some of the cake for people who might come on later^^
Good idea. *takes plate and sits next to Silente*
Mithria sit in the middle!
*starts eating her slice* so get anything good?
Yeah Mithria, what did you get? ^.^
(Argh, sorry for poofing! My friend phoned...)
*sits down and starts eating the cake*
*nods* I got a new mobile phone! And DVDs of The Mentalist (Season 1). I'm happy :)
What type of phone
*continues munching her cake*
Yay sister! ^.^ hopefully you'll like my presents <3
(phone again
(back!)
My new phone is a Samsung S3, Silente.
And I'm really curious, Chi! :D
Lol ur phones getting a lot of use! Chi I'm sure she'll like your presents! I don't know what you've done but still I'm sure she'll like them!
(I hate this part of my birthday. Being on the phone all the time... I wanna have some peace now to be able to write with you :D)
Yeah the phoning can be annoying but hey, it happens, people wanna talk to the birthday girl
*sighs*
Seems like they do...
Well, it's fine, it's only once a year :P
Cherish your birthdays mir! People are kind to you! Apart from when they get an entire class to sing happy birthday to you...that's embarassing.
^.^
Fortunately, they didn't do that! :D
Lol, that's still to come then Mithria. EVERYONE does that :3 you won't escape it.
Mine!
*tacklehugs everybody at once* Happy birthday Mithria!
Lucky! On my birthday someone told my games teacher it was my birthday. She made THE WHOLE GIRLS TOP SET GAMES CLASS sing happy birthday.
*shudders at the memory* anyway. How was your auntie and your grandad. Did they behave themselves?
I dedicate this page to my wonderful and beautiful sister Mithria Faith. She is my best friend and one of the most important people in my life.
Ich liebe Dich, Mithria.
Have a happy Birthday and may all days be as happy as I hope this one will be.
Hey Blake!
Hey Blake! Thank you! :)
@Silente: I was surprised but yes, they behaved very well :D
Hear hear
*raises goblet of orange juice*
